Sin is a terrible scourge that has wreaked havoc on the human race. So much suffering and evil exist in this world, and it seemingly goes unchecked. But Pastor Bill reminds you that there is a ledger in the heavenly realms, a log of every sin ever committed. And one day, Jesus is going to judge the living and the dead. But if you have put your faith in Jesus and given your heart to Him, your account can be wiped clean. No sin is too great for Jesus to forgive if you come to Him with a repentant heart.

How many times has God answered your prayers in ways you didn't expect? It's not because He doesn't care about you, but maybe He has a greater purpose in mind for your life. In the case of Acts chapter 3, the Lord waited to heal the crippled man at the Temple until there was a moment for that miracle to affect everyone around that man as well. You may think that your suffering is unending now, but the Lord is waiting for that perfect moment to bring restoration to your soul.

It is important to be aware of what is going on in the world. Even though we no longer belong to the world, instead belonging to Christ, we should still have compassion on those who are enslaved by the snares of evil in the world we currently live in. Pastor Bill reminds us that there is chaos and sin driving everything around us, and we have been given the message of hope that will drive out the darkness; the message that Jesus will come again to rescue His bride from the devil's clutches.

As the student questions series continues, I'm talking through ideas for conversation inspired from a text we use in Core Theology class at Concordia University-Irvine–Called to Believe by Steven Mueller. In this episode we continue looking at chapter 8 of the book, which discusses the person of Jesus Christ. This episode asks: Does Jesus really have no mind, words, will of his own, but only the Father's? If so, what are we to think about free will? Did Jesus ever claim to be interested in equality? What two crimes was Barabbas charged with? What does that illustrate? What does the Matthew 11 passage about Jesus' yoke being easy and light for us?

In this episode we continue looking at chapter 8 of the book, which discusses the person of Jesus Christ. What if we started a discussion by making the following statement, "Jesus Christ is no different than any other religious leader." How could this be a productive way to get people talking? What would be revealed if we compared Jesus to other religious leaders? What is something about Jesus we don't talk about enough?

We see many critical attempts by God to bring people to repentance in Revelation. As the end draws nearer, the judgements turn up in severity, to the point of a nearly uninhabitable earth. This is a last chance to make things right with God, yet some STILL refuse repentance. Things will look up soon, but not until the judgement bowls are poured out on the earth. This is Revelation chapter 16. ---------SUBSCRIBE ▶️ Receive our latest videos:https://www.youtube.com/c/PastorSteve...ABOUTPastor, author and speaker Steve Berger is known for his straight talk in dealing with various hot-topic cultural issues that many pastors avoid.
