Happy magic portal day! On this special and rare day of 2/22/22 I wanted to welcome you to your new self! Today is the day to take this meditation journey, journal, and step into the skin of the person you truly are inside and stop holding yourself back.In this episode I talk about the incredible power of our energy and take you on a journey to speak to your future self.Come back to this meditation any time you need grounding and a reminder that you already are everything you want to be.Quote reference:Joseph Campbell, "Pathways to Bliss""We keep hearing about the revolution around us all the time: the revolution, the revolution, the revolution. Revolution doesn't have to do with smashing something; it has to do with bringing something forth. If you spend all your time thinking about that which you are attacking, then you are negatively bound to it. You have to find the zeal in yourself and bring that out. That is what's given to you-_one life to live. Marx teaches us to blame the society for our frailties; Freud teaches us to blame our parents for our frailties; astrology teaches us to blame the universe. The only place to look for blame is within: you didn't have the guts... live the life that was your potential."Any questions or personal journey bookings: gogentlypod@gmail.com

Quote:From On Being Human pp. 79-82."Based on his own battle with cancer, Dr. Selye offered three ways to build a constructive life:1) turn feelings of resentment and anger, which lower resistance to stress, into respect and sympathy2) set goals for yourself; and3) live for the benefit of others, for in so doing, you yourself will benefit, email the podcast: gogentlypod@gmail.com for questions, bookings, etc.

Welcome to Fall Season!Fall can be an incredible time of celebration, but also a time of deep reflection as we look back on the year and see what we have accomplished, lost, gained, and what we still dream of moving towards. Maybe you are feeling a little more contemplative this time of year, this podcast episode is a great one to come to to get grounded and hear your inner voice. Also, to realize you are exactly where you need to be no matter what emotions are coming up. Quote:"The Courage To Create"by Rollo May"...courage will not be the opposite of despair. We shall often be faced with despair, as indeed every sensitive person has been during the last several decades in this country...courage is not the absence of despair; it is, rather, the capacity to move ahead in spite of despair.""The word courage comes from the same stem as the French word coeur, meaning "heart". Thus just as one's heart, by pumping blood to one's arms, legs, and brain enables all the other physical organs to function, so courage makes possible all psychological virtues. Without courage other values wither away into mere facsimiles of virtue."

Forgive the sound in this one, my dog wouldn't sit still. In this episode I dive into the idea that our capitalist society has emphasized knowledge to such an extent that it sometimes leads us to shut down our heart-centered wisdom. How do we come back to one another and respect life wisdom over combative knowledge?Quotes:"Knowledge alone cannot give rise to value. It is only when knowledge is guided by wisdom that value is created. The font of wisdom is found in the following elements: an overarching sense of purpose, a powerful sense of responsibility and, finally, the compassionate desire to contribute to the welfare of humankind."-Daisaku Ikeda"Heaven is not located on hight, but where the good of love is, and this resides within a person, where he or she might be. -Emanuel SwedenborgTo book a session or ask questions email gogentlypod@gmail.com

This is a great reminder and reading that you already have the wisdom inside of you. You don't have to push or prove, just breathe and let emotions and moments flow through you. A perfect guided meditation to come to when you are feeling self doubt and want to connect in with your higher self and internal wisdom."Dropping Ashes on The Buddha"pg. 143"You mustn't worry about how you practice is, whether you are making progress or not, whether you are in anguish or not. All these things are not important. They are like the clouds passing in front of the moon. You must not be attached to anything that appears in your mind. Then you will attain freedom thinking. A great reading from, "If You Meet The Buddha On The Road, Kill Him!" and guided visualization meditation for releasing self doubt. Whether you are trying to make a decision, are feeling anxious about an aspect of your life, or just need a moment to release some tension in your body, this is a great episode to come to each time you want to let a bit of the stress and self doubt go.Book reference:If You Meet The Buddha On The Road, Kill HimChapter: Learning to learn pg. 187"The Zen way to see the truth is through your everyday eyes, It is only the heartless questioning of life-as-it-is that ties a man in knots. A man does not need an answer in order to find peace. He needs only to surrender to his existence, to cease the needless, empty questioning. The secret of enlightenment is "when you are hungry, eat; when you are tired, sleep. The Zen Master warns: "If you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him!" This admonition points up that no meaning that comes from outside of ourselves is real. The Buddhahood of each of us has already been obtained. We need only recognize it. Philosophy, religion, patriotism, are all empty idols. The only meaning in our lives is what we bring to them. Killing the Buddha on the road means destroying the hope that anything outside ourselves can be our master. No one is any bigger than anyone else. There are no mothers or fathers for grown-ups, only sisters and brothers."
