How many times have you dimmed your light, hidden parts of yourself, or caught yourself judging the way you show up in the world? In this episode, Lacy and Jessica explore visibility, self-worth, deservingness, and authentic expression. They unpack why we resist being seen, and how stepping into visibility becomes one of the most powerful shifts we can step into in the New Paradigm. As we move into an era of refinement, we're being called to question everything that no longer feels true. That includes the magnetic "f*ck it" energy that emerges when we stop performing for love, approval, success, and belonging and start choosing radical authenticity instead. If you've been feeling the call to stop hiding and step into the next version of who you're becoming, this is your invitation. Your manifestations aren't asking you to become someone else; they're asking you to become more of who you truly are. Ready to stop dimming your light and start shining at full luminosity? The dialogue unfolds around the profound imperative of civic engagement, exemplified by our guest, Chip Webster, whose illustrious career intertwines leadership, mentorship, and a steadfast commitment to community enhancement. In our discourse, we delve into the essence of his latest endeavor, Unity and Service, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to rekindling trust and fostering civic responsibility through the transformative power of volunteerism. Chip elucidates how simple acts of service can serve as conduits for bridging societal divides, ultimately fortifying the very fabric of democracy. His insights, meticulously detailed in his book, *Unity and A Pathway to Responsible Citizenship*, challenge us to reconsider our roles as citizens, urging us to embrace responsibility through active participation and heartfelt service. Join us as we explore these vital themes, punctuated by Chip's personal anecdotes and actionable strategies that inspire us to engage more meaningfully within our communities. In this engaging exchange, Chip Webster articulates the essence of leadership as not just a position of authority but a commitment to nurturing a shared vision and guiding a team towards collective success. He underscores the significance of aligning one's values with their organizational mission, illustrating how such alignment can invigorate a workplace culture and drive innovative outcomes. Chip recounts personal anecdotes that reveal the transformative power of service—how moments of stepping outside one's comfort zone can yield profound insights and foster a sense of belonging. The discussion extends into the realms of personal responsibility within a democratic society, reinforcing the idea that voting, volunteering, and engaging in community service are not merely duties but privileges that enable individuals to contribute to the greater good. Through Chip's reflections, listeners are encouraged to cultivate their 'citizen muscle'—the capacity to actively participate and effect change within their communities, thereby enriching the democratic experience for all.Links referenced in this episode:tampabaywatch.orgunityandservice.orgMentioned in this episode:My friend Dr. Noah St. John calls this 'the invisible brake.' Keep winning! Two-time Emmy and Three-time NAACP Image Award-winning television Executive Producer Rushion McDonald interviews Bruce Marks. CEO of NACA – America's Best Mortgage Program. The incredible NACA mortgage allows NACA Members to purchase their homes with the following: Below is a structured summary of the Bruce Marks interview with Rushion McDonald on Money Making Conversations Masterclass, based entirely on the interview transcript you provided. All points and quotes are drawn from that source. Interview Summary Bruce Marks, founder and CEO of NACA (Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America), joins Rushion McDonald to discuss his four-decade mission to make affordable homeownership accessible to working families, particularly those historically excluded from the housing market. Marks explains how NACA fights predatory lending while simultaneously offering what he calls “the best mortgage in America”—characterized by no down payment, no closing costs, no fees, low fixed interest rates, and no reliance on credit scores. The conversation highlights NACA’s innovative programs, including converting Section 8 housing vouchers into mortgage payments, the $1 Homeownership Program for vacant properties, and large-scale, community-based homebuying events that process thousands of families in days rather than months. Marks frames homeownership as a tool for wealth-building, community stability, crime reduction, and racial equity. Purpose of the Interview The purpose of the interview is threefold: Educate listeners about alternative paths to homeownership that defy traditional mortgage industry norms. Challenge myths about credit scores, Section 8 recipients, and affordability. Promote NACA’s model as a scalable, nationwide solution to the housing affordability crisis and racial wealth gap. Key Takeaways 1. NACA’s Mortgage Model Is Radically Different No down payment No closing costs or fees Below-market, fixed interest rates Credit scores are not used; lending is based on payment history and financial behavior. 2. Predatory Lending Targets Vulnerable Communities Marks defines predatory lending as mortgages “structured to fail”, citing the 2008 housing crisis as a direct result of unaffordable loan structures that later doubled or tripled payments. 3. Section 8 as a Pathway to Ownership and Wealth NACA enables families to apply their Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers toward mortgage payments, allowing renters to build equity instead of enriching landlords. Over a 20‑year term, this can result in $200,000–$300,000 in personal wealth. 4. The $1 Homeownership Program Is a Game Changer Cities sell vacant homes or lots to buyers for $1, while NACA finances renovation or new modular construction—cutting costs by eliminating developers and enabling homes to be built for roughly $120,000 total. 5. Scale and Impact Matter NACA operates in all 50 states Newark event drew 25,000+ people over five days Over 75,000 homeowners served Foreclosure rate: 0.00012. Notable Quotes from Bruce Marks “We have the best mortgage in the country.”. “Predatory lending is a mortgage that is structured to fail.”. “What you’re doing is the wealth is now going to the person with a Section 8, not to the landlord.”. “We do character-based lending, never looking at someone’s credit score.”. “Homeownership is a safety issue, it’s an anti-crime issue.” Bottom Line The interview positions Bruce Marks and NACA as disruptors of the traditional mortgage industry, proving that affordability, scale, and advocacy can coexist. The message is clear: homeownership should be a right earned through responsibility and support—not a privilege restricted by wealth, credit scores, or predatory systems.. #BEST #STRAW #SHMS Support the show: https://www.steveharveyfm.com/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

What would change in your life if you stopped waiting for permission and finally trusted yourself? In this episode, Lacy, Jessica, and Janelle explore one of the most transformative energies in manifestation: the unapologetic self-worth that comes from fully being yourself. As the community moves through the Be Seen Challenge, they unpack the collective themes emerging right now: navigating uncertainty in a rapidly changing world, releasing outdated beliefs around success, hustle, relationships, visibility, and identity. They dive into the fears that keep us hidden and cover nervous system regulation, shadow work, authenticity, burnout, and manifestation. Plus, they break down why "fuck it" energy isn't about recklessness — it's about arriving at a place where your worth is no longer up for debate. Your authenticity is your greatest signal to the universe. The life, love, opportunities, and freedom you're after often begin the moment you stop abandoning yourself and allow yourself to truly be seen. The Armory Foundation Is Turning Athletics Into a Pathway to College and Community Impact

For many student-athletes, the discipline learned on the track does not end at the finish line — it can become a foundation for academic ambition, college access, and long-term opportunity. At a moment when young people are navigating rising college costs, uneven access to counseling, and growing uncertainty around higher education, programs that connect athletics, academics, and personal support are taking on new importance. At The Armory Foundation in Washington Heights, that connection is more than a theory: since 2016, Armory College Prep has maintained a 100% four-year college acceptance rate for its seniors. The stakes are clear for first-generation and underserved students, many of whom need not only academic guidance, but also exposure, confidence, and a sense of belonging. So what happens when a track-and-field institution becomes a launchpad for college access, career exploration, and community transformation?Welcome to DisruptED. In the latest episode, host Ron J. Stefanski speaks with Rita Finkel, Co-President of The Armory Foundation, and Clayton Harding, Director of College Counseling for Armory College Prep. Their conversation explores how the historic Armory has evolved from a former homeless shelter into a hub for athletics, education, health, and community programming — and how its college prep model helps students translate the discipline of sports into academic persistence and long-term opportunity.Top insights from the talk…Athletics becomes a bridge to academics. Harding explains that student-athletes already understand the value of practice, discipline, and measurable improvement. Armory College Prep helps them apply that same mindset to grades, test preparation, essays, college applications, and persistence through graduation.College access requires exposure and trust. The program takes students beyond New York City to visit small liberal arts colleges, private universities, SUNY and CUNY campuses, and other institutions they may not have considered. Finkel and Harding emphasize that seeing a campus firsthand can help students and families overcome “sticker shock” and understand how financial aid can make a private college more affordable than expected. The Armory model is high-touch and long-term. With a strong adult-to-student ratio, structured SAT/ACT preparation, essay coaching, alumni mentorship, college visits, and paid summer internship support, the program focuses not only on college admission, but also on college completion and career development.Rita Finkel serves as Co-President and COO of The Armory Foundation, where she has spent more than 20 years leading operations, strategy, finance, and youth-serving programs. She previously served as Executive Vice President of Strategy and Finance at the Armory and has played a major role in advancing the organization's athletic, educational, and community impact work. Before joining the Armory, she was Executive Director of Fencers Club, where she oversaw membership development, coach recruitment, and day-to-day operations.Clayton Harding serves as Director of College Counseling at Armory College Prep, where he has spent more than 12 years guiding students through college admissions, academic planning, financial aid, and long-term success. He has previously served as Interim Director of College Success, supporting alumni with paid internship placement, academic resources, graduate school applications, resume writing, mock interviews, networking, and career readiness. Earlier in his career, he co-owned and led test-prep organizations, including Bell Curves/The ProTesters and PLR Publishing, where he developed K-12 and LSAT preparation programs and co-authored test-prep materials.

High performance and burnout are not opposites. For a lot of people, they're the same thing wearing different clothes. This episode is for the professional who is achieving by every external measure and still feeling like something is off — because that feeling is data, not weakness. Nancy Gentle Boudrie joins Bryce to talk about the inside-out approach to career alignment: what it means to make regulated, values-driven decisions about your work instead of just reacting to demands and hoping things improve. Nancy brings neuroscience and mindfulness together in a way that's practical and direct — no meditation retreat required. This episode is for high-achievers who are tired of running on autopilot and ready to make intentional choices about where their energy actually goes. About Nancy Gentle Boudrie: Nancy Gentle Boudrie is a mindset coach, corporate wellness speaker, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of coaching experience and more than three decades of business leadership. She is the creator of the Pathway to Inner Peace — Featuring the 4R Method®, an evidence-based framework blending neuroscience, mindfulness, and energy mastery. She is also the founder of the Awaken with Light App, a digital platform offering mindfulness tools and live emotional resilience practices. What We Cover: Nancy's background and what led her to build a framework around inner peace for high performers What "living on autopilot" actually looks like in a demanding career The inside-out approach — why regulation and values alignment have to come before strategy Burnout as a signal, not a failure — what it's telling you and how to listen The 4R Method and how it works in real professional contexts How to evaluate whether you're in the right fit — job, role, or career path Finding the right fit through entrepreneurship vs. staying and building from within Where to find Nancy and how to work with her Key Takeaways: Autopilot isn't neutral — it's a slow drift away from what you actually want from your career Burnout in high performers often looks like more output, not less — it hides well Regulation comes before decision-making — you cannot make good career choices from a dysregulated state Values alignment is not a soft concept; it's a performance variable that shows up in your work, energy, and retention The question isn't always "should I leave" — sometimes it's "am I showing up as myself here" Resources + Links: Awaken with Light: https://www.awakenwithlight.com/ Guest LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/nancyboudrie/

Bailey shares how The Money Challenge transformed her relationship with worthiness, how childhood conditioning created financial blocks, and how learning to honor herself shifted everything: her business, her nervous system, and her experience of success. Together, they explore the healing power of gardening, co-creating with nature, inner child work, and simplifying life around what truly lights you up. It's time to behold the magic around you — and to be witnessed in return. Ready to step into your power? The Be Seen Challenge is live — drop into the TBM app to take the kickoff quiz and begin. I want to alert you, so you don’t miss out on expert analysis and insider perspectives from my guests who provide tips that can help you uplift the community, improve your financial planning, motivation, or advice on how to be a successful entrepreneur. Keep winning! #SHMS #BEST #STRAW Support the show: https://www.steveharveyfm.com/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Today, I'm sitting down with two graduates of the program who have successfully launched their appraisal careers and are putting this training into practice every day. Quintin Smith and Jeff Graves share what it took to complete the program, the transition from student to working appraiser, the obstacles they faced along the way, and how this practicum pathway helped better prepare them for the realities of the profession. If you've ever wondered whether there is a viable path into the appraisal profession (or something other than becoming a trainee), this episode is for you.
