Clearing the FOG with co-hosts Margaret Flowers and Kevin Zeese
The United States was scheduled for its regular review of its human rights violations by the United Nations Human Rights Council on November 7, but it refused to cooperate. As part of the process, activists in the US submitted a shadow report last April called "The Rights to Life and Health: How financing affects the right to health care in the US." Clearing the FOG speaks with Martha "Marti" Schmidt, a human rights expert and activist, about the findings in the shadow report, the legal basis supporting the human right to health care, the problems with the current healthcare system in the United States and what type of system would honor our right to health care. Schmidt also discusses successful healthcare systems in other countries and the importance of showing solidarity with countries that are targeted by the United States. Click here to send me a quick message :) Holy mama! This week is monumental and I want to honor it with you because this podcast would be nothing without the community of thousands of listeners who have tuned in over time. THANK YOU.Today marks episode 200!! So I decided to craft a simple episode highlighting the power of celebration -- to embody the practice of celebrating (including 2 of my biggest celebrations from this podcast journey) and invite you to join me in this podcast party too.A lot of times we associate the buoyancy of summer with joy and celebration. But ancestral traditions across cultures also come together in the darkest nights of the year to find and bring the light into the darkness, often together, often in celebration. So, while this time of the year has a very different quality than bright summer days, it is an entirely appropriate time to tune into quiet reflection and receptivity AS you are also finding the guiding light and celebration. So please join me in celebrating Herbal Womb Wisdom's 200th episode!! In whatever ways feel great for you.Resources:Today's shownotes: The medicine of celebrationJoin the waitlist: Natural Contraception, The Herbal WayEpisode 19: Pelvic liberation and softening w Chaya Leia AronsonEpisode 61: Pelvic wisdom - healing trauma w Dr Emily WilsonEpisode 77: Myofascial release for pelvis + chest w Lindsay CourcelleEpisode 119: Clearing womb trauma w Dr Sarah WylieEpisode 141: Uterine unwinding w Dr Kathryn KloosEpisode 192: Pleasure as medicine w Dr Emily WilsonIf you loved this episode, share it with a friend, or take a screenshot and share on social media and tag me @herbalwombwisdom. "The Good Listening To" Podcast with me Chris Grimes! (aka a "GLT with me CG!")
Send us a textA host hands over his own mic, steps into the straw-lit ring, and lets his story breathe. Chris Grimes invites us into “the clearing,” a warm, curated space where presence comes first and stories find their shape. From a Uganda childhood and the hum of a TV showing Laurel & Hardy to the ache of losing a sister and the discipline of actor-teacher training, Chris traces the real forces that shaped his craft, his humour, and his ethos of yes-and.We dig into the 5-4-3-2-1 framework he uses to spark honest conversation, and why comedy can be the first evidence of freedom. Expect Stan Laurel's kindness, Michael Palin's curiosity, and a dash of John Cleese; a tender nod to Federer's focus on the next point; and a confession about a £2,000 wheelie bin in the name of creative risk. Chris shares the quotes he keeps in his pocket—be where your feet are; nothing is either good or bad, but thinking makes it so—and the one story he returns to when doubt creeps in: the Helsinki Bus Garage. Translation for creatives and leaders alike—stay on the bus long enough to reach the route only you can travel. The heart of the conversation is Legacy Life Reflections, a human-led way to record personal histories before voices fade. Chris talks about capturing his father's story in the halcyon years and why every family has a documentary inside it, not a footnote. It's story craft with care: listening deeply, framing gently, and creating a keepsake that outlives the moment. Along the way, we talk tennis, ping-pong, presence, and the north star of a dream guest—Sir Michael Palin. If you're building a career in the arts, leading teams, or simply trying to honour the voices you love, there's gold here: practical storytelling tools, resilience reframes, and a reminder to laugh when you can. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs the nudge, and leave a review to help more people find the clearing. End of year. Time to reinvent yourself. Sometimes tweaking what you've got just doesn't cut it. Sometimes you need to blow it up and start fresh. I call it creative destruction. This episode digs into why waiting for perfect alignment keeps you stuck. You're tired because you're not inspired. And why your current activity might be completely incompatible with your future self. Ready to stop patching and start building? This conversation gives you permission to make radical changes. No apologies needed. Featured Story I was sitting with a client who looked defeated. Completely stuck. He kept saying he was trying to figure out how to become his future self. But everything he was doing today just wouldn't get him there. He thought he could figure it out. I gave him the shortcut. Ditch it. Do something else. The relief on his face was instant. He didn't need my solution. He needed permission to walk away from what obviously wasn't working so he could figure out what would. That's creative destruction. Not giving up. Clearing space for what's next. Important Points Your current activity might be completely incompatible with your future self, and that's okay. Waiting for stars to align before making a move is exhausting and impossible. Sometimes you can't upgrade what you've got—you have to tear it down first. Memorable Quotes "The reason you're tired is because you're not inspired." "Sometimes you can't go over. Sometimes you can't go around. Sometimes you can't go under. Sometimes you're completely trapped. The only thing you do is blow it up." "Don't worry about what anybody else thinks. You know why? Because as soon as you do it, they're going to say, what took you so long?" Scott's Three-Step Approach Give yourself permission that everything might need to change—not just minor adjustments, but radical shifts in direction. Stop trying to upgrade what's fundamentally broken or incompatible with where you want to go. Embrace the scary moment of decision, then act—everything changes the second you commit to blowing it up. Chapter Notes 0:00 - New theme song and big YouTube announcement coming 1:01 - When your current self can't become your future self 2:55 - How creative destruction actually works in real life 4:39 - Give yourself grace to make radical changes this year 6:15 - Stop patching and painting what needs replacing 7:12 - The obstacle is the way: sometimes you blow it up Connect With Me Search for the Daily Boost on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify Email: support@motivationtomove.com Main Website: motivationtomove.com YouTube: youtube.com/dailyboostpodcast Instagram: @heyscottsmith Facebook Page: facebook.com/motivationtomove Facebook Group: Join the Daily Boost Community Learn more about your ad choices. Send us a textRHOC Reunion Part 2: Clearing the Air (Or Not)⭐ Podcast Summary: RHOC – S19 Reunion Part 2Reunion Part 2 kicks off hot with Tamra and Gretchen immediately going for each other's throats. Tamra screams that Gretchen is a “F-ing liar,” and the old controversial photo of Jenn resurfaces—plus the infamous saga of the hair extensions. Jenn finally tells Tamra, “I feel like you don't like me—and that's okay.” Tamra insists Jenn targeted her to get on the show, which Andy hilariously shuts down.Gina chimes in that Jenn seemed thirsty her first season, and Tamra continues her list of “coincidences”—the house, the doctor, the salon, the fitness competition—only for Jenn to remind her Tamra invited her. Even Andy is like: what exactly is the problem here?Question from a viewer: is Tamra jealous of Jenn like she was of Gretchen? Tamra denies she's ever been jealous of anybody. Heather tries to defend her earlier “Jenn wants to be Tamra” narrative, only for Jenn to tell her none of it was real—Heather admits she realizes that now.Emily pushes Tamra on why she showed the photo in the first place, reminding her she admitted it was shady in Temecula. Tamra apologizes, Jenn shrugs it off, and Emily gives Jenn credit for helping her rethink her own insecurities around weight.Andy moves to Jenn's wedding—no date yet, and everyone agrees waiting is smart. Jenn opens up about worrying whether she'll “be enough” for Ryan as she ages, but also owns that she's the breadwinner and full-time parent.Shannon gives an emotional update about being accountable and in a good place. Gina's still worried about her, but Shannon insists she's solid, seeing her dad twice a week. Gina apologizes for mocking Heather's acting career, and Heather says she's exhausted defending herself. We see some fun montage moments (lymphatic drainage! stripper chaos!) before lunch. Matt pulls up to see Katie in her trailer, while Shannon interrogates Jenn and Tamra over chicken she packed herself. Jenn says Shannon won't accept her apology. After lunch, the big mess: Jenn vs Katie. They haven't spoken; Katie feels abandoned. The “roofie story” at Mastro's gets unpacked. Gretchen admits she misspoke about saying she went to the hospital—she meant she should have.Matt joins the stage and claims Ryan and Slade coached Katie to “hold the line” on the story. Gretchen is interrupting him nonstop. Tamra reveals Scheana was the one who told Kiki Monique. Andy explains Gretchen is back because of her success on Girls Trip—not Slade pulling strings. Slade didn't show because he didn't want the “he's always trying to be on TV” accusations. Finally, Katie tells Jenn she messed with her paycheck by not defending her—if Jenn had even slightly backed her, Katie says she wouldn't have had to stop filming. The drama is high, the receipts are sloppy, and everyone's yelling over each other—it's classic RHOC reunion chaos.Support the showhttps://www.wewinewhenever.com/

This episode of Healthy Mind Healthy Life drops straight into the deep end of energetic wellness. We examine the unseen forces shaping mental health, physical symptoms and emotional patterns. Connie Smock, an internationally known psychic medium, intuitive and healer, breaks down how energy blocks form, how they influence overwhelm, anxiety and low vibration cycles, and how clearing them can shift your entire reality. This conversation is raw, practical and designed to help listeners understand the link between emotional patterns, spiritual debris and long term well-being. About the Guest : Connie Smock is a globally recognized psychic medium, intuitive healer and spiritual teacher with 35+ years of experience. She is a certified hypnotherapist, past life regressionist, Reiki Master Teacher, Qigong instructor, life coach, black belt in karate and yoga instructor. Her work blends ancient wisdom with modern energetic techniques to help people clear emotional blocks, heal long standing patterns and reconnect with their higher guidance. Key Takeaways : • Energy affects mental and emotional health more than most people realize and hidden energetic debris can amplify overwhelm and anxiety.• Many emotional patterns and triggers are rooted in energetic imprints carried from childhood, past relationships or even past lives.• Lower energies or unprocessed energetic fields can drain vitality and create mood swings that feel personal but are not.• Empaths and highly sensitive individuals absorb energy faster and need consistent energetic hygiene to stay balanced.• Practices like Reiki, Qigong and deep breathwork help the body release stored emotional toxins and rebuild inner stability.• Hypnotherapy and past life regression can reveal unresolved soul contracts that shape today's relationships and repetitive patterns.• Healing is not a one time event. It is cyclical like raking leaves in the wind and requires conscious recalibration.• Trust and surrender accelerate emotional recovery and help break fear based loops that keep people stuck.• Spiritual, emotional and physical bodies are interconnected. Clearing one layer shifts all the others.• Connie's core teaching is that nothing is personal and everything is a soul level classroom for growth. Everything in your space carries energy. When we hold onto clutter, we're often holding onto old versions of ourselves — past identities, memories, and emotions. In this live session with Emilio, you'll explore decluttering through the lens of quantum physics and universal laws, discovering how physical order mirrors energetic alignment. You'll learn how: ✨ Everything vibrates — your home is an energetic reflection of your inner world. ✨ Letting go of clutter raises your frequency and magnetizes new opportunities. ✨ The Law of Correspondence (“as within, so without”) connects your environment with your state of being. ✨ The Observer Effect teaches us that awareness alone can begin transformation. ✨ The act of decluttering is a form of self-healing and manifestation. Come curious and open — this is not just about cleaning your home, but about creating energetic space for the next version of you to emerge. This is part of the Quantum Living Series, where we explore how universal laws and energetic awareness can transform the way we approach every area of our life.Join future sessions live on Insight Timer => https://insighttimer.com/emilio/events-------I would love to read your comments :-)For more information, joining the winter circle, courses, leaving a review, and booking a free discovery call with me click below:http://yourthrivinglifestyle.info/

After returning from deep research expeditions in Tibet, Nepal, and Kemet (Ancient Egypt), Stephanie shares an overview of why perceptual intelligence is the most important key for interfacing our awareness about the world we live in and our personal evolution. She weaves the crucial interface between new (ancient) sciences (like plasma intelligence) and your personal, spiritual evolution sharing how you can expand your aperture of perception to embody emotional peace, mental freedom, physical vitality, and spiritual wisdom. In this episode, we unpack:• The interface between new sciences proving what we know, and personal soul evolution.• The profound connection between your origin story and your current perception of reality.• Why the further back we go in history is how far into the future we can see.• The reality that we humans are perceiving a tiny fraction of the visible electromagnetic spectrum.• How to clear perceptual filters (trauma, distortions, old narratives) to access what's available to us now.• The practice of knowing just because you know it to achieve coherence and step out of the collective "survival mode."• How expanding your perception opens the potential for free energy, precognition, and full human potential.Access my free Liberation Masterclass:

Clearing the FOG with co-hosts Margaret Flowers and Kevin Zeese
The United Nations Conference of Parties (COP) is holding its annual meeting in Brazil this year for the 30th time. Despite the creation of the Paris Climate Agreement nearly ten years ago, carbon emissions continue to rise, and the world is now experiencing the impacts of the 1.5° Celsius rise in temperature we sought to avoid. The time has come to shift our thinking and actions to what we can do locally to prepare for and protect our communities from the dangers of the climate crisis. In this guided meditation, Wolfgang leads us through the sacred process of releasing and transforming ancestral karma that may still echo through our bloodlines. Many of us carry the energetic imprints of our ancestors' unresolved experiences — from slavery and war to abuse and betrayal.Through breath, intention, and higher-dimensional light, we enter the timelines of our lineage to offer forgiveness, healing, and liberation. As these patterns dissolve, we open space for deeper peace, self-sovereignty, and the remembrance of our original divine blueprint. This session is designed to help you:✨ Recognize and release inherited energetic burdens✨ Bring compassion and light to your ancestral line✨ Reclaim your power and rewrite your soul's storyListen in a quiet space where you can fully surrender to the journey.e-mail Wolfgang for appointments: https://www.wolfgangarndt8@gmail.comFree Pendulum Chart: https://www.toolsforascensionbywolfgang.com/resources/website: https://www.toolsforascensionbywolfgang.com/YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/@toolsforascensionbyWolfgangInstagram https://www.instagram.com/wolfgangarndt1https://www.facebook.com/The-Gaia-Eagle-Wolf-Healing-Circle#AncestralHealing #KarmaClearing #GuidedMeditation #SpiritualHealing #LightWork #EnergyHealing #SoulLiberation #WolfgangMeditation #TimelineHealing #CollectiveHealing #InnerAlchemy #AwakeningJourney #HealingOurLineage #ConsciousEvolution

Clearing the FOG with co-hosts Margaret Flowers and Kevin Zeese
The Syrian government under Bashar Al-Assad was so successfully demonized by Western imperialist media and governments that many celebrated when Assad was overthrown last December, even though the new puppet government was led by the extremist Al Nusra Front, an Al Qaeda terrorist group. Now, Syria is balkanized and the government is implementing forced displacement and ethnic cleansing. Clearing the FOG speaks with Dan Kovalik, co-author with Jeremy Kuzmarov of "Syria: Anatomy of Regime Change," about the long history of US interference in Syria, dating back to the 1946 coup, how the recent coup appeared to happen so rapidly and the current situation in Syria, as well as the impact of these events on the region. Hunter Grad, CEO and founder of Ameliogenix, joins the show to talk about developing mRNA immunotherapies for cardiovascular disease. George K and George A sit down with Hunter to discuss: How a procrastinated university project turned into a biotech startup tackling the leading cause of death worldwide The novel application of mRNA technology to permanently reduce cholesterol levels through targeting proteins within the body rather than viral diseases What it takes to bootstrap a biotech company in Ottawa, not Silicon Valley The brutal realities of fundraising in biotech versus software startups, and why pivoting isn't always an option when lives are on the line Clearing up the myths and misinformation around mRNA technology, from how it actually works to addressing fertility concerns The role of machine learning in accelerating biotech research and drug discovery, and why quality data matters more than flashy AI hypeHunter breaks down complex immunology concepts into digestible explanations while sharing the raw challenges of being a young founder in a traditionally academic-led industry. This episode explores innovation at the intersection of technology and medicine, the importance of rigorous science over buzzwords, and what it means to swing for the fences on a problem that affects 2 billion people worldwide.Mentioned:Using AI, MIT researchers identify a new class of antibiotic candidates
We all know what all looks like — strict rules, clean eating, heavy discipline. And we definitely know what nothing looks like — throwing in the towel and saying, "Whatever, I'll start over Monday." But what about the middle? Why does it feel so hard to define… let alone stay in? In today's episode, I'm unpacking a powerful conversation I had with a client who said something so many of us feel: "Navigating the middle feels lost — like no direction. It feels like too much freedom and an impossible place to navigate." Especially this time of year — when schedules are packed, events are frequent, and temptations are everywhere — the middle can feel impossible. We're talking about: Why "the middle" feels so elusive What to do when you don't hold the line How to adjust your goals without abandoning them Why re-engagement matters more than perfection And how to stay in the game — even when you miss the mark This is not about following a perfect plan. It's about building the resilience to keep going when life gets loud.

In this episode of Quality Talks with Peggy O'Kane, Peggy welcomes Dr. Troyen Brennan, adjunct professor at the Harvard School of Public Health, former Chief Medical Officer at CVS Health and Aetna, and author of Wonderful and Broken. With decades of experience spanning academic medicine, hospital administration and retail health care, Troy brings candor and clarity to the challenges facing American health care and the promise of primary care reform.Troy's insights are both sobering and hopeful, pointing to a future where coordinated, data-driven primary care can finally fulfill its promise.Highlights:·Diagnosing a System Under Pressure: The limits of fee-for-service payment and why employer-sponsored insurance is reaching a breaking point.Building the Foundation for Better Care: The critical role of primary care in medicine's value-based future.Spotlighting Innovation Across the Map: Real-world examples of successful primary care transformation, including Catalyst Health in Texas and Southcentral Foundation in Alaska.Reimagining Accreditation for Modern Needs: Reflections on NCQA's Patient-Centered Medical Home and future redesigns.Clearing the Policy Bottleneck: Observations on policy inertia and how policymakers can accelerate change. This episode is a timely and thought-provoking update for healthcare executives, policymakers and clinicians committed to building a more sustainable, efficient health care system.Key Quote:The only way you can see a health care system that works in the future is if it's value based—that it's prospective payment and risk on the providers for the elaboration of care provided. If we believe what most people write about these things, we've got 25 to 30% waste as a result of the fee-for-service system. If we move to a value-based approach, that's money that's going to fund the system, that extra third that we can put back into real health care. So you need a value-based approach.-- Troy Brennan, MDTime Stamps:(3:12) Employment-Based Health Care is Unsustainable (7:29) The Value-Based Future and Primary Care(10:00) Payment Disparities and Policy Inertia(22:00) Technology and Data Analytics in Advanced Primary Care(28:18) Peggy's ReflectionLinks:Connect with Troyen Brennan Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The story we tell about climate change is mostly a story about loss. But look to the data, and that story starts to fall apart. Emissions are peaking in key sectors. Clean energy is scaling faster than anyone predicted. Real progress is happening. It's just not happening in the way we imagine it. Sean's guest today is Hannah Ritchie, Deputy Editor at Our World in Data and author of Clearing the Air: A Hopeful Guide to Solving Climate Change. They discuss why our picture of the planet is so distorted, why despair can be as dangerous as denial, and what a truly energy-abundant, livable future could look like.
