    COVID-19 has been devastating to the black community.   More than half of the in-hospital deaths due to cover -19 are African Americans.  Most recently, the FDA granted emergency approval for the COVID 19 vaccine.  To date 2.8 million people have been vaccinated.  ⁣ ⁣ According to a recent kaiser family foundation survey, only 50% of black Americans compared with 65% of white Americans would definitely or probably get the COVID -19 vaccine.     HIV In Our Community

    COVID-19, Your Pregnancy and Your Infant

    On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic (which means prevalent all over the world).Since then greater than 300,000 confirmed cases have been reported in about 150 countries and death tolls top 14,000.  As of today March 20th, a total of 15,219 COVID-19 cases had been reported in the United States, with reports increasing to 500 or more cases per day beginning March 14.  Total deaths: 201.
