In this episode, we listen to an account of an impossible situation, as depicted in Sangam Literary work, Aganaanooru 252, penned by Nakkannaiyaar. The verse is situated amidst the dark and dangerous ranges of the ‘Kurinji’ or ‘Mountain Landscape’ and etches an exquisite simile to capture an intricate emotion. In this little trip to the mountains, we get to meet the wild beasts of the land, as we listen to the lady say these words to her confidante, pretending not to notice the man listening nearby, but making sure he’s in earshot: “Making a tiger with sword-like stripes, one which knows not to fell its prey on the left and always hunts it down on the right, to quiver, with a desire to kill, a ferocious lion pounces on the spotted face of an elephant with an upraised forehead, and tears apart its white tusks, in the cool and fragrant orchard, amidst the tall mountain ranges. Treading through such a space with a single spear, he comes alone without any fear; With tears pouring down from my eyes, with the affliction of love attacking me, I too cannot bear to be apart from him; What are we to do, my friend? Making the touch-me-not's dew-covered flowers with fuzzy petals to drop down, rain clouds gush and pour in the midnight hour. At this time, when the soaring waves spray and spread their droplets in that huge pond with a weak bank, akin to the one who stands in guard there, mother too has put up a protective watch and has forgotten the meaning of sleep now!” Let’s brave the storm clouds and the roving beasts, and listen to the lady’s heartbeat! The lady starts by introducing a tiger, one which is so flawless in its skill of killing that it never hunts a prey on the left and always finishes it on the right. Apparently, this was a big deal to the ancients, as we have heard this obsession over right-side-killing in more than one song! After presenting a portrait of such a valorous tiger, the lady relates a scene which seems to make even this brave tiger quiver in fear, and that’s the scene of an animal she calls as ‘Aali’ attacking an elephant and tearing out its tusks. This ‘Aali’ is a mythical creature depicted in Hindu temples with the composite parts of many animals. However, in this instance, it’s interpreted as a lion. Though today there are no lions in the state of Tamil Nadu and they are confined to the state of Gujarat, perhaps this was a time when the lions roved freely in the South too.  Returning, the lady has mentioned the attack only to depict the dangerous path the man walks, with only a spear for company, in the dead darkness of the night, without a drop of fear in his heart. As if saying he may not fear for his safety, but she does, the lady talks about how though tears pour down her eyes, she too cannot bear the thought of being apart from him. After relating the state of mind of the man and herself, the lady turns to depict a third person in this scene, and that’s the state of her mother, who keeps a watchful eye on her daughter, much like how a guard would watch an ebbing pond with a thin bank and though it’s the midnight hour, would forget to seek the calming refuge of sleep. The lady concludes by asking her friend what was the man and herself to do in such a difficult situation! In essence, the lady is telling the man that mother was aware that something’s up and so there’s danger of discovery and the only course of action for the man was to seek the lady’s hand in marriage. With that nuanced depiction and comparison with a person who stands guard around a tank with a weak bank on a rainy night, the verse paints the strokes of anxiety and insomnia with expert hands! Timeless emotions have a way of speaking across the ages indeed!

In this episode, we listen to a pointed question put forth to subtly persuade a person, as portrayed in Sangam Literary work, Aganaanooru 250, penned by Selloorkizhaar Maganaar Perumboothankotranaar. The verse is situated amidst the swaying seashore trees of the ‘Neythal’ or ‘Coastal landscape’ and recollects an incident and presents its consequences. In this trip to the shore, we perceive scenes of playful fun and more, as we listen to the confidante say these words to the lady, intending to persuade her to further her relationship with the man: “What could be the reason? Long may you live, my friend! Tormented by the muddled spray of the brimming waves, the swaying Laurelwood tree's bee-buzzing fine pollen scatters down, making the young sand to waft with a fragrance, amidst the picturesque mounds on the shore. Here, when we were playing together with our many mates, asking the helpers on his tall, ornamented chariot to step aside, a man wearing garlands around his neck and head, came close to us, and rendered words praising our lined sand houses. Without receiving words any in response, he parted away from there. From that moment, suffering deeply, which causes thick arms to wane, and troubled by the slander of cruel-mouthed womenfolk in this beautiful, little hamlet of the fisherfolk with exquisite nets, filled with groves by the shore, with bangles slipping away from the forearms, we remain. And so, along with us, the shore too sleeps not, in the middle of the night!” Time to take a walk on that ancient shore and learn more! The confidante starts with a question, pondering on why certain things are happening. Then, she takes us to the seashore and points to how a dancing ‘Punnai tree’, dashed against by the brimming waves, drops its fragrant pollen on the sands, imbuing it with a delicious scent. On such a pretty spread of land, the lady and herself had been playing with many other friends, the confidante recollects. Then she talks about how a man had arrived there, stopped his chariot, asked his helpers to stay a little away, and had come close to them, and praised the sand houses they had been building. Those girls overcome with their sense of shyness, did not reply to him, and he had left quietly, the confidante remembers. Then she talks about how from that moment, there had been significant changes. As we have always seen, the confidante does not separate herself from her friend. So, she says that their arms had been thinning, the womenfolk of the town had been spreading slander, and because of that, their bangles had been slipping away. What the confidante actually means is that these are the changes that are visible in the lady! The confidante concludes by remarking how the shore too does not seem to get a moment of sleep, just like them, even in the dark hour of midnight! That note about the shore sharing the plight of the lady subtly speaks about the sisterhood felt with this element of nature! To us, these words may seem rather cryptic, making us ask, ‘What is the confidante trying to say?’. To understand what she means, we have to know of a protocol that seems to be inherent in these love relationships between the man and the lady. It all starts with the man’s eyes falling on a lady, then he falls in love with her, and wins her affection in return. But the tale does not end there! Apparently, the man has to convince the lady’s confidante about his love for the lady, and if convinced, the confidante will take his message to the lady, and after getting her consent too, will arrange for those trysts, which will deepen the relationship between the man and the lady, and from there, the confidante will go on to nudge the man to marry the lady, as we have seen in songs many. Quite complicated indeed! It makes me smile to think what people in the future will have to say about our so-called ‘simple and seamless’ courting practices of today! Returning to the verse, these words are the confidante’s way of telling the lady, ‘The man seeks your company. I know that you are in love with him too. Shall we take this forward?’. Their innate sense of modesty prevents them from speaking plainly, and that’s the reason for these particular musical words that transport readers across the ages to the past, and spread the delight of the scents and sights of that pristine shore forevermore!

HE WAS MAKING MONEY… BUT LOSING SLEEP AT 3AM The brutal truth most business owners avoid… until it catches up with them. In this raw episode of Level Up + Live, we sit down with Andrew Jimenez, husband, father of three, and owner of Relentless Plumbing in Montgomery County, who went from staying busy with money coming in… to realizing he had no real control over his business. On the outside, everything looked fine. Jobs were getting done. Revenue was coming in. But behind the scenes? Sleepless nights. Constant stress. No clarity. Andrew didn't know his break-even. Didn't understand his cash flow. Was making decisions based on instinct instead of data. This episode pulls back the curtain on what's really happening with many entrepreneurs who are stuck in the grind: working harder and making money but still feeling like they're one bad month away from everything falling apart. After stepping into Level Up + Live Level 2, Andrew faced a hard truth: If he didn't learn his numbers, nothing would truly change. What followed was a complete shift in how he operates: Knowing exactly what his business needs to generate every week Planning ahead for slow seasons instead of reacting to them Making smarter financial decisions in both business and personal life Leading his team with intention and clarity Replacing constant stress with confidence and direction Andrew also shares the moment that forced him to take things seriously, realizing his growing family depended on more than just hard work. It required structure, discipline, and understanding the business at a deeper level. We also tackle a question most business owners avoid: What happens if you continue to ignore your numbers? His answer is direct, frustration, burnout, and a business that ends up controlling you. This conversation is not theory. It's a real look at what happens when someone stops guessing and starts leading with clarity. If you're working hard but still feel stuck… If you're making money but don't fully understand where it's going… If you know something needs to change but haven't taken action… This episode is for you. Sleepless nights often start with a simple pattern: the lights go out, and the mind lights up. We've been there too—replaying the day, gaming out tomorrow, and feeling tension build with every loop. In this guided conversation and practice, we unpack why bedtime worry grabs the wheel and offer a grounded antidote: a mindful gratitude ritual designed to ease agitation, slow your breath, and help you drift into restorative sleep. We begin by naming the common culprits—planning, replaying, and the feeling of “not yet finished”—and how these habits cue the body into alert mode right when you need the opposite. Then we introduce a practical gratitude approach that avoids fluff and leans on specifics: choosing one real thing you truly appreciate, sensing it with detail, and letting that appreciation saturate your attention. You'll hear simple, repeatable prompts to find your anchor—someone you love, the weather that lifted your mood, the quiet company of a pet—and how to notice the subtle signs of settling: a softer jaw, longer exhales, warmth in the chest. From there, we pair thankfulness with breath using a gentle cadence that requires no counting. Each inhale welcomes support; each exhale invites release. We keep the language simple, the steps light, and the tone kind, so even on difficult nights the practice feels doable. You'll learn to meet racing thoughts without a fight, redirecting attention toward safety and ease. By the end, you'll have a short, compassionate bedtime ritual that tells your nervous system, for now, everything is okay.If this practice helps, share it with someone who needs a calmer night. Tonight is the night of Badr.On this night, 1,443 years ago, 313 Muslim men camped on the plains of Badr — underprepared, outnumbered more than three to one — on the eve of a battle that would determine whether Islam survived or was extinguished. There is no tafseer of Surah Al-A'raf tonight. Tonight belongs to Badr. How They Got ThereThe Muslims left Madinah on the 12th of Ramadan. The mission was straightforward: intercept Abu Sufyan's caravan returning from Syria — the largest trading caravan the Quraysh had ever assembled, loaded with profits from goods financed largely by wealth confiscated from the Muslims at the time of Hijrah. Not a battle. An interception. But Abu Sufyan's scouts were sharp. One of the Bedouin trackers found camel droppings along the route, opened them, and recognised the date pits inside as coming from the farms of Madinah. The Muslims were tracking them. Abu Sufyan immediately rerouted and sent the fastest rider in his group back to Makkah — the rider sliced the nose of his camel and smeared the blood on himself to arrive with maximum drama, ensuring the message landed with urgency.Abu Jahl raised 1,300 men. Not to protect the caravan — the caravan had already escaped. This was about something else now. We are going to crush Islam and the Muslims once and for all.By the time 300 of that army turned back — satisfied that their property was safe — 1,000 Quraysh warriors were marching toward Badr with that single purpose. The Muslims, meanwhile, had 313 men. Two horses. Seventy camels. And eight swords. They had not come prepared for battle. They had expected a small caravan escort — ten, twenty, thirty men at most. They found an army. And they did not turn back. The Leadership of the Prophet ﷺWhen the Prophet ﷺ chose a campsite on the plains of Badr, a companion — al-Hubab ibn al-Mundhir — approached him and asked a remarkable question: Ya Rasulullah, is this position based on revelation from Allah, or is this your personal judgement? The Prophet ﷺ said: personal judgement.Al-Hubab said: in that case, may I suggest we move further forward — to the wells of Badr — so that we control the Quraysh's access to water? The Prophet ﷺ accepted. He moved the entire army. This is a man who could have said: I am the Prophet of Allah, my opinion is final. He said nothing of the sort. He distinguished clearly between what came from Allah and what came from his own thinking. And when a companion had a better idea, he took it.A leader who cannot be corrected is a leader who will eventually fail. The Prophet ﷺ modelled the opposite: you are not any stronger than me, and I am not any less in need of the reward from Allah. When they shared rides on the 160-kilometre journey — three men, including the Prophet ﷺ, rotating on one camel — his companions begged him to ride the whole way. He refused. He walked his share. The Night BeforeThat night, with a thousand armed men across the plain, Allah gave the Muslims a gift: sleep.Anyone who has had a major exam, a difficult interview, a high-stakes day ahead knows what that night feels like. You lie awake. The mind races. The Muslims knew what was coming — and they slept.Allah also sent light rain on the Muslim side. The ground compacted. The march in the morning would be firm underfoot. On the Quraysh side, Allah sent heavy rain. Sleepless. Muddy ground. No access to water. Before a single sword was raised, the advantage had already shifted. The Prophet ﷺ spent much of that night in dua — arms raised so intensely that his shawl fell to the ground. Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, waking before Fajr, wrapped it back around his shoulders and stood listening. Among the duas the Prophet ﷺ made that night: Ya Allah, if You destroy this group, You will never be worshipped on this earth again. These were the best of the Muslim men. Most of them. If they fell here, there would be no rebuilding. The dhikr of Badr — the one the Prophet ﷺ repeated through that night and into the battle — was Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum. The Ever-Living. The Ever-Sustaining. The One who holds everything in existence. Repeat this in your own difficult nights.Islam Is a Salad BowlWhen the Prophet ﷺ organised his army on the morning of battle, he divided them into three groups: the Muhajirin on the right, led by Sayyidina Ali; the Ansar on the left, led by Sayyidina Sa'd ibn Mu'adh; and a mixed group at the centre, where the Prophet ﷺ stood himself, with the banner held by Mus'ab ibn Umayr — the first companion to migrate to Madinah, the man through whose teaching most of the Ansar had embraced Islam. Why keep them separate? Why not one unified mass?Because Islam does not erase identity. It never has. The Muhajirin were Meccan. The Ansar were Medinan. Different dialects, different traditions, different cultures — and at this point in history, genuinely different peoples. Islam acknowledged that difference and worked with it. Each group fought with the strength that came from who they were.Islam is not a melting pot. It is a salad bowl. A tomato remains a tomato. A cucumber remains a cucumber. Mixed together, each contributing what it is — they serve something greater than any one of them alone.Keep your cultural identity. Be proud of who Allah made you. Learn your mother tongue. And be equally proud to be Muslim — guided by Islamic principles, united by La ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah, with Arabic as the thread that connects the entire ummah across every language and culture.Help Comes in Ways You Cannot SeeWhen the battle began, most of the Muslims did not know they were being assisted by angels. They raised their weapons and fought with everything they had. Some were injured. Some were martyred. They had to show up. They had to put in the effort. The help came — but it came to those who were already in the field.Jibreel came wearing a yellow turban, marked like Mus'ab ibn Umayr. A thousand angels — one for every Quraysh soldier — came wearing white, on white horses. The Quraysh saw them coming from across the plain. They did not know what they were seeing. And then Iblis — who had marched alongside the Quraysh in the guise of Suraqah ibn Malik, who had promised them safety, who had said I am with you, no one can defeat you today — Iblis was the first to see the angels. He turned and fled.I see what you do not see. I am afraid of Allah. The Quraysh: You were the one who convinced us to come! You were the one who promised us victory!Iblis said nothing more. He left. This is who Iblis is. He is there when things are going well. The moment the cost becomes real, he disappears. The friends you make in sin will not be there when the consequences arrive.Abdullah ibn Mas'ud — a man so small he stood barely above a metre — captured Sayyidina Abbas, the Prophet's uncle, a giant of a man with a voice that could carry across a battlefield. Abbas was humiliated. He told everyone who saw him: it wasn't this small man — there was someone bigger, someone else who took me down. When Abdullah ibn Mas'ud brought Abbas to the Prophet ﷺ, the Prophet ﷺ confirmed: it was not you, Abdullah. You were assisted by an angel.Do not be arrogant with your success. You put in the effort. But the victory was never yours alone to claim. The Secret of Badr — And of RamadanThe Quran tells us the secret of Badr in Surah Ali Imran in two words: sabr and taqwa.Sabr is steadfastness — continuing on the right path regardless of how difficult it becomes. Taqwa is your living connection with Allah.Ramadan trains both. Every day of fasting hones sabr — the steadfastness to stay on the right path regardless of hunger and exhaustion. Every night of prayer and Quran builds taqwa — the connection with Allah that carries you through what the day alone cannot prepare you for.The Prophet ﷺ won his greatest military victory in Ramadan — on the 17th, on the plains of Badr. His greatest political victory, the Conquest of Makkah, was also in Ramadan. Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas defeated the Persian Sassanid Empire at the Battle of Qadisiyyah in Ramadan. Amr ibn al-As conquered Egypt in Ramadan. The pattern is not coincidence. It is a formula.Fast your days. Pray your nights. And trust that when you show up on the field with whatever weapons you have, Allah will send what you cannot seeBadr Wallpaper for smartphonesBadr Wallpaper for tablets.Badr wallpaper for computersAfter Witr tonight insha'Allah — Salawat Badriyya.Following along with the series? Menopause at Work: Hormones, Leadership & Power in Midlife Careers

Hot flashes. Brain fog. Sleepless nights. For too long, we've mislabeled midlife women's health as burnout, anxiety, or a loss of ambition. But what if the real issue isn't performance — it's hormones? In this episode of Hello Monday, Jessi Hempel talks with Joanna Strober, founder and CEO of Midi Health, about menopause, perimenopause, hormone therapy, and power at work. Together, they unpack how gaps in women's healthcare during midlife are quietly pushing talented leaders out of the workforce at the exact moment they should be accelerating. After struggling to get proper treatment for her own perimenopause symptoms, Joanna built Midi Health to deliver insurance-covered, expert virtual care focused on women in midlife. This conversation goes beyond hot flashes — it's about workplace equity, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), ageism, health misdiagnoses, and why normalizing menopause could unlock a generation of leadership. Because menopause isn't a road bump, with the right care, it can be a power surge. Jessi and Joanna discuss: The difference between perimenopause and menopause, and why the distinction matters for women's health at work Why 1 in 5 women in their 40s are prescribed SSRIs — and how hormonal shifts are often overlooked Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and non-hormonal menopause treatments The workplace impact of untreated menopause symptoms, including research showing women may lose authority during visible symptoms like hot flashes How employers can support midlife women through better insurance coverage  Ageism in the workplace — and why women in their 50s may be primed for peak performance How normalizing menopause conversations can help women reclaim power Follow Joanna Strober and Jessi Hempel on LinkedIn. “Where are You, God?” If you’ve ever whispered that question through tears, sleepless nights, or silent disappointment, you’re not alone. In this episode, we talk about the painful seasons when God feels distant — when prayers feel unanswered and discouragement makes it hard to even find the words to pray. Yet Scripture tells us something steady and unshakable: Jesus promised He would be with us always. Not sometimes. Not when we feel spiritual.Always. Even in silence. Even in valleys. Even in doubt. What We Discuss Why God can feel distant during hardship How discouragement can drain our ability to pray The truth that God hears even unspoken prayers The danger of believing the lie that God has abandoned us Drawing near to God when emotions say He’s far Finding encouragement through Scripture, worship, and Christian community This episode is sponsored by Trinity Debt Management. If you are struggling with debt call Trinity today. Trinity's counselors have the knowledge and resources to make a difference. By Alexis A. Goring Bible Reading:“Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:20 (NLT) “Where are you, God?” If there was a consistent question I asked God last year, that was it. Little did I know that by the start of this year, God would answer my question in profound ways that proved He hears my every prayer and He is always here with us. It started with simple things that were concerning me, then it snowballed into many other issues and situations that were troubling my heart and keeping me awake at night. Sleepless nights were the norm for me that year. I tried praying my way through it, but at times I was too tired to pray. Have you ever been so discouraged that you can barely talk to God about it? However, God taught me that He knows our hearts and He hears even the prayers we don’t have the energy or capacity to pray. He even considers the tears that roll down our faces when we cry as silent prayers, and He understands our pain before we have words to give voice to it. If you’re looking for someone who knows you better than you know yourself, your Maker (God) fits that bill perfectly. Because we live in a world that is negatively affected by sin, we all may face situations in life that cause us to ask, “God, where are you?” It is then that we are tempted by the enemy to believe that God has forsaken us. But in those moments, we need to believe what the Bible says: God will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:8). When you feel far away from God, draw near to Him and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). If you’re having trouble seeking Him, ask God to help you feel His Presence and experience His peace. Remember: He’s always been pursuing a relationship with you before you realized you needed Him and started seeking Him. Now, there’s the fact that God is invisible (1 Timothy 1:17). But the truth is that He is real (Psalm 14:1). Don’t let His invisibility become a barrier to your seeking Him. Over the years, I’ve heard people debate that since we cannot see God, that must mean He doesn’t exist. Well, to that I’d say, we cannot see the air we breathe, but we know that if we don’t have air, we’d be dead. Same with God. We cannot see Him, but we need Him to live. When we are in pain so deep that we can barely get out of bed in the morning and start going about our day, it is important to remember that God is with us in our pain. Soon after the start of this year, God showed me that He had heard my prayers and questions last year. He did this by inspiring a Christian author to ask me if I wanted to read an early copy of her book that is releasing in January 2026. After seeing that the title of the book is “God, Where Are You?”, I knew this was encouragement from God for me. He recommended a whole book (in addition to the Bible) to answer my question. I agreed to read her book and was blessed by it. The author’s name is Dominique Young. The full title of her book is “God, Where Are You?: Unmasking Your Pain, Uncovering His Presence”. It is advertised on Amazon as “a safe space for your deepest questions and your hidden pain.” It’s for people who have been silently suffering under the heavy weight of anxiety, grief, depression, shame, and spiritual doubt. Through this book, she helps the reader discover how near God is to them through their toughest trials in life. God doesn’t abandon you in the valley lows. He’s with you through it all. And He can heal our brokenness. The author invites the reader to stop pretending they are okay when they are not, face the pain you’ve been hiding, and learn how you are seen by the Almighty God as one He deeply loves. Dominique encourages the reader to remember that even when God is silent, He is near and will not leave you. After reading the first few pages of Dominique’s book, I thanked God for answering my prayers on this topic because it was like He was speaking to me through her messages that were supported with Scripture. I am grateful He used this author’s debut book to encourage me in my faith walk. I believe this book will encourage you, too, if you read it. In closing, I’d like for you to listen to three songs (listed below) that remind us God is here with us and He’s going to stay with us until the end of the world. Before I had kids, I thought that to get them to "turn out right," I needed to be the perfect example of what a good mom and Christian looks like. I'm not sure about you, but that plan didn't last very long. Sleepless nights, changing hormones, and illness made motherhood feel more like a crucible than a Mary Cassatt painting. Abbey Wedgeworth has helped me create three of Sunshine in My Nest's favorite episodes. She's also some incredible training refrains for gospel responses in motherhood, but based on the title of her new book, those seem to have come from her own personal motherhood desperation rather than having all the answers. I'm super excited to talk to her today about motherhood, postpartum, highs, lows, and the way God has met her with the gospel in all of them. Was postpartum depression and rage something you had on your motherhood bingo card or did it surprise you?Did shaming yourself after you failed drive you to be better? Was there a moment that Jesus felt particularly close or far during a low moment? How did learning submission to limits help you in your understanding of the gospel?   What do you do when you blow it?What practical boundaries and "assists" have you put in place to help you on a daily basis? You can pre-order Abbey Wedgeworth's book "Help, I'm Ruining My Kids" and find Abbey HERE.JOIN US: Around Our American World for family-style learning!! The demo stayed largely unchanged, capturing raw longing and emotional distance on the road—interpretable as love/absence or post-breakup yearning, with ambiguous references to “our bedroom.” Produced by Combs, Singleton, and Chip Matthews, it explores the dual realities of home life versus touring life across the 22-track album, alongside prior releases like “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “Days Like These,” “15 Minutes,” “Giving Her Away,” and the No. 1 “Back in the Saddle” (his 19th career No. 1 on Billboard Country Airplay, extending his record streak).Combs holds historic milestones: first country artist to headline Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Newport Folk, and New Orleans JazzFest; four Diamond-certified singles (RIAA record); two songs over 1 billion Spotify streams; highest RIAA-certified country artist ever (168 million units); and most consecutive No. 1s at country radio. Fathers & Sons (2024) peaked No. 2 on Top Country Albums, maintaining his streak of top-2 debuts. The My Kinda Saturday Night Tour launches March 21, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas), with U.S. finale May 16 at Lambeau Field (Green Bay), plus international legs including three nights at Wembley Stadium (London), two at Scottish Gas Murrayfield (Edinburgh), two at Slane Castle (Ireland), and stops at Notre Dame Stadium, Neyland Stadium, Ohio Stadium, and more across Canada and Europe—many sold-out.With his third child expected winter 2026, this introspective release builds on Fathers & Sons' family focus. Analytic Dreamz examines how “Sleepless In a Hotel Room” serves as a long-gestating fan favorite, thematic gateway to the album's personal narratives, and aligns with Combs' genre-transcending dominance—blending intimate storytelling with stadium-scale reach amid massive streaming, radio, and touring momentum.Join Analytic Dreamz for this no-fluff, data-driven deep dive into one of country music's biggest 2026 setups. Send us a textIn this episode of Corporate Life, Hina Siddiqui is joined by Aditi to discuss the raw reality of leadership and the often-unspoken journey through failure. Aditi shares how a "rollercoaster ride" of starting a business and facing setbacks shaped her into the leader she is today. From the challenges of being a female executive in a male-dominated industry to the deeply personal motivations behind her "legacy" project, Aditi reveals why true success is impossible without first tasting the bitterness of failure.Key TakeawaysThe journey of an entrepreneur is rarely a straight line; it involves navigating countless rejections and "sleepless nights" to build something meaningful.True leadership and resilience are built when you learn how to "dust yourself up" after falling and continue to push forward regardless of societal pressures.Delayed gratification is essential in business; choosing to face challenges today allows for greater freedom and sweet success later.Episode HighlightsAditi reflects on the pivotal moment of starting her own venture and the boldness required to take that initial "coin flip" risk.A deep dive into the "80% of failures" that aren't usually seen by the public but are the foundation of any successful career. The conversation touches on the influence of parents, specifically how a father's legacy and a mother's "progressive" support can shape a woman's drive to succeed.Timestamps00:00 - Introduction to Aditi and the essence of failure 05:30 - The reality of entrepreneurship: Sleepless nights and coffee jars 12:15 - Navigating societal expectations as a woman in business 18:45 - The importance of delaying gratification for long-term goals 25:00 - Final thoughts on legacy and leaving a mark on the worldConnect with GuestAditi Handa: Fortune Group ChairpersonWebsite: www.aditiihanda.comFortuna Group Website: https://forttuna.com/homeInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/aditiihanda/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/aditii-handa/Connect with HinaWEBSITE I https://thehinasiddiqui.com/ LINKEDIN I /hinasiddiqui INSTAGRAM I @hinawithwings YOUTUBE I /@thehinasiddiqui Email I hina@thehinasiddiqui.comCheck out Hina's books: https://amzn.to/3B65Wz7Production Credit: Edited and produced by @the32collective_ / https://www.the32collective.co/

This Throwback Thursday episode of The Uploft Interior Design Podcast, which keeps my podcast fresh after 10 years, focused on answering listener questions about bedroom dilemmas submitted from all over the globe, though I expressed sadness that summer is ending and I'm getting back into routines. I addressed Jenna M. from Sydney, Australia, who was struggling with a cramped bedroom, advising against under-bed drawers and instead recommending a hydraulic lift bed for bonus storage, utilizing vertical space with deep bookshelves. Next, Tyler in Austin, Texas, needed help managing intense natural light to create an inviting evening ambiance, where I suggested avoiding the combination of shears and drapes, opting instead for blinds like blackout rollers or lined woven Roman blinds, and installing three separate lamps to create "cozy pools of atmospheric light". Finally, I offered solutions to Mia in San Francisco, whose sleep was affected by noisy street traffic, starting with sound-absorbing basics like a nice rug, soundproofing drapes, and fabric artwork, and recommending the use of a sound machine or utilizing the "dark noise" feature available on a smartphone to combat the jarring external noises. In this week's episode, we have a long reflection on the trauma that's around at the moment. Some of it is faced by people who have campaigned against things like the battery storage plants that are abounding around rural Scotland. Sleepless nights, disappointment, disillusionment. That may not seem like a big deal in the face of all the other trauma going around, the terrorist attack on Jews in Australia, the enduring horrible genocide being experienced in Gaza, and the suggestion by President Netanyahu that you can't speak about one without getting on the wrong side of the other. So we discuss all of that. Donald Trump's allegation that, putting it bluntly, Europe is crap, and perhaps the difficulty in managing to get a common position when giving funds to Ukraine would bear that out. We also discuss the Question Time furor over the question about school children and fluency in English, which turned into a debate about second languages among young people All that and more.LinksJen Strout - Night Train to Odesahttps://birlinn.co.uk/product/night-train-to-odesa-2/Jim Sillars - The New Case for Optimismhttps://www.vagabondvoices.co.uk/rants/the-new-case-for-optimism ★ Support this podcast ★

I dig into why stress and rumination hijack your rest during divorce and how cortisol and adrenaline surge right when you want to drift off. Then I'll shift to practical, evidence‑informed tools that restore a sense of safety in your body so falling asleep and staying asleep becomes more likely. I walk you through 6 steps to help you create the perfect environment for a good night's sleep during stressful situations from that take care of your inside (think nervous system regulation) to your outside (think bedroom ambiance). You'll also learn a compassionate approach to midnight wake-ups. The aim isn't perfection; it's a realistic 10% improvement that compounds into calmer days, a more regulated nervous system, better emotional resilience, and more energy for parenting, work, and healing. Unpredictable cycles. Sleepless nights. Mood swings. Body composition changes. And performance that mirrors all of it. During the menopause transition, you never quite know which body will show up on any given day. As this week's guest menopause run and strength coach Becky Croft explains, you can still get stronger and faster, but it won't come from constantly pushing through or grinding it out. It takes smart planning, a different kind of periodization, and recovery that respects your shifting hormones and the cumulative stress that comes from this time of life. We dive into all of it: hormones, nutrition, hydration, strength, load management, and much more. Becky also opens up about her struggles with endometriosis, surgical menopause, and younger women in menopause can feel left out of the conversation.Becky Croft is a certified running and strength coach who specializes in guiding masters and menopausal athletes through the complex intersections of performance, hormones, and identity. After years of battling endometriosis and undergoing a full hysterectomy at 38, Becky entered surgical menopause as a younger, recreational competitive athlete—and quickly realized the resources she needed didn't exist. So she became the coach she was looking for. She is a Game Changers Coach and Mentor, holds certifications as a RRCA Run Coach, Girls Gone Strong Menopause Strength Coach, and Chi Running & Walking Instructor.
