The gang comes in today to demonstrate in honesty that some days you just need to feel it, whatever it is, and that it is okay to feel off. This leads to a discussion about Jeffrey's partnership and how we often externalize rather than looking inward to do the "real" and often times more difficult work. Cassidy also shares some intimate insight into her marriage with Beau and how and why the relationship has healed and changed for the more peaceful. Beau shares about his morning cacao ritual that addressed a lot of noise and externalization that ultimately led to a novel meditation experience exhibiting work he has been doing with the Inner Child and the High Self. The trifecta closes the show with a meditational check-in with the Inner Child for the listeners. And all is well! WE SEND YOU ALL BIG LOVE & THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO BE HERE WITH YOU! P.S. From there, Cassidy, Jeffrey & Beau touch in on everything from excitement to grief to acceptance to joy! This leads to today's main topic: journaling! It may seem basic -- neither the hippiest, nor the dippiest of topics to be vetted on the show -- BUT journaling is so crucial for the Self care and Self discovery if so many, AND it is incredibly accessible for everyone. The gang talks about how perfection or control can be an obstacle in journaling and Self care. Jeffrey exalts the virtue and fun of bullet journaling and discussing the deep impact reading The Artist's Way made on his life, and how journaling in stream of consciousness, aka "morning pages," is still a part of his wellness routine. In the segment, Best Advice, Beau encourages everyone to safely take a break from their COVID-19 quarantine to get out in nature and walk barefoot or even, yes, hug a tree. What do you expect? It's The Hippie Dippy Show for Gaia's sake! Beau encourages everyone to take pictures of them in nature this week with their toes in the grass and send them to the show @hippiedippyshow on Instagram or at hippiedippyshow@gmail.com.
