I am a published indie author, for thrill, suspense action fiction. My writing is dark, eclectic and often violent. I have many fans that love my books, short-stories and blog post, however, my wife Sam, she has read none of my books. She is a whiter than white person and cannot be violated by the words I write. I therefore am reading to her a chapter a week of my first book, Harvester. A story about a violent serial killer called Dale Broc who dissects his victims and removes their organs... while the victim watches. She has to endure this story in a hope that it provokes discussion, or a laugh and she, will get to read my book, win win.
are you capable of killing someone? this is just one of the things we chat about today, aside from actually reading chapter 8 of Hypnos. Jon asks Sam, could you kill someone? The chapter reveals how Hypnos was created and just what is can do. The start of Alex's nightmare, will she be able to stop it 'going viral' did you see what I did there!
Jemal meets the boss of the organisation, and realises the terrible truth behind the software he has stolen. Does he get into bed with them or find a way out of it. Sam and Jon are back, after a 4 month break, find out why that have been AWol and read the next chapter in Hypnos. here are some of the links Sam and Jon talk about. Well, this episode was a fun one, a bit more light hearted than the others. Less intense and awkward for me. I hope you like it.Alex and Siobhan have spent the night together, the consequence of this is Alex has dropped off the radar. With an active serial killer on the loose who has also kidnapped her daughter - Alex has the rest of the B5 outfit a little worried. Siobhan is then introduced to Mr Simon Broadstone in a compromising and unceremonious situation. From every cut of the knife, to the seedy sex clubs that my killer frequents. She will be free to gasp, giggle, comment in the only way I know she will, with her own brutal honesty and I will record every moment for you. This chapter was a hard chapter for me to write. It followed a trajectory of my journey as a C-PTSD sufferer, and I'm kinda pleased that Sam found it uncomfortable, which means the book has hit the mark. Isn't that the reason we read, not just to be entertained by fiction, but to still be challenged by it?Anyway, the chapter is about Alex under going therapy with her therapist Jenny - No, Jenny is not in cahoot with Broc before you think this!We unpack Alex's emotional condition, she's a bit messed up right now. No a lot of nazis caught up in the war machine were horrific in their behaviour, but there are some stand out characters that took the brutality to another level. We are of course talking about Otto Moll, the quarter master sergeant of Crematoria V in the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.Dont forget to check out the short fictional story the will be uploaded to Patreon by the evening (UK Time) on Saturday 7th November 2020. But Kind got his inspiration form somewhere. Its postulated that Pennywise has a lose connection to Pogo the clown, Gacy's alter ego. Here we take a deep dive into the world of Gacy, why he did the things that he did and try and rationalise his behaviour.Enjoy.And if you want to read a short strip that I have written about Gacy, then head on over to Patreon and join my growing list of subscribers and have access to loads f cool stuff.Patreon link https://www.patreon.com/ihatethisbookThis is a podcast created in extraordinary circumstances ...I am a thriller/action writer, she, is a cozy mystery and fantasy reader. We find ourselves together, isolated during lockdown and so I have challenged my wife Sam, to sit and listen to every tawdry sentence of my thriller/horror book, The Harvester. Yo, thanks fro downloading the current chapter of me reading my book Harvester to my wife who hates this book, she now hates it so much, she dreads the podcast recording days, she just needs to hang in there. In this chapter we hear how the triads had infiltrated into Orlovs sex club and managed to change the intelligence that the police needed. Orlov showed no mercy to this pawn in this massive game the police and the trains were playing that was centred around Dale Broc, click download, kick back and enjoy this gruesome episode. In this minisode, we step into the murky world of the Candy Man, aka Dean Corll. A homicidal homosexual that prayed on post pubescent boys. He exposed them to an incalculable level of torture, finally ending their lives with other a bullet to the head or strangulation. What made this case stand out for the authorities was Corll was a active member of the community, always around to help out, so the finger of suspicion would never have been placed at Corlls door. After recruiting two young men in in finding his victims, paying them a handsome amount of money he would make the victims write to their families. telling them that they were moving away. The police took these letter on face value while mothers were becoming increasingly more angry at the inertia of the police. Runaways were just that, runaways. When thing finally came to head and the subsequent investigation determine that if the police had taken a keener interest in the case, there would probably be boys still alive today. The YouTube link to Henley calling his mother can be found here by clicking this link.Dont forget, accompanying this minisode, is a fictional short story that I have written and can be found on Patreon, a subscription based service where for small fee, you can enjoy all of the fictional stories that accompany these minisodes. The full show notes are included in the short story but can also be accessed here through the website johnbiddle.uk
In today's podcast, I read chapter 22 of the Harvester to my wife. This chapter goes through what the police did when they breached the wrong house and met the Bramleys. It's going to be a tad embarrassing when you hit the wrong house from the police perspective. We also chat about the benefits of being ‘empty nesters,' pronouns and some other stuff. It's a great chapter, a bit of humour.Don't forget to visit the Patreon page and support our creativity.Heres the IMDB link to The Comey Rule, here in the UK it was syndicated on Sky Atlantic, youll have to find locally where this show is being aired. This is a podcast created in extraordinary circumstances ...I am a thriller/action writer, she, is a cozy mystery and fantasy reader. We find ourselves together, isolated during lockdown and so I have challenged my wife Sam, to sit and listen to every tawdry sentence of my thriller/horror book, The Harvester. So, in this episode we see the Baldwins take Lucy's organs up to London and they run into Ng. Ng isn't the person one wants to run into. Closing loops, Ng is hell bent on protecting his organisation. The curious world of Albert Fish is not a tale for the feint at heart. Fish was a sadistic killer that felt nothing when he killed. He thought the taking of young lives was normal, like an everyday activity, like walking in the park. His madness stemmed from a very jaded up bringing, filled with abuse, physical emotion and sexual. Added to his own psychopathy, Fish was on a path from a young age to offend. Lack of resources and forensics challenged the authorities in trying to apprehend Fish. Remember, these killings were through the first world ward and during the Spanish Influenza outbreaks, which is not mentioned in any of the narratives I have research. Not only would this give Fish a certain level of anonymity during these times coupled with his age, how would anyone think this genial old guy would be America's most sadistic killer. Post-war, there was a glut of disabled servicemen that had no job or fixed abode giving Fish an even bigger victim pool. Then the flu, which has a footnote in history, even in all the material that I accessed, had no mention of the flu. Considering the amount of people that died, it's vector and spread. The world was gripped with a very high death toll. In those years, the world seems a very different place, very similar to now. I added the flu to the short story that you can access on Patreon because I think at the time Grace went missing, the flu would have impacted the Budd family. Click the link to join my newsletter and blog post, I try to get these out every week, although the last two weeks has been a little tawdry in my attention, there's a free novella attached to the link too - Troll, the prequel to my novel Harvester But any ways, hit this link and subscribe to my creative world. If you want to step it up further, click this link to Patreon. Patreon is a subscription service for creatives like myself. Like ‘Only Fans' but it's somewhere where I won't be taking my clothes off. Instead, you will have access to short stories, book outlines and other creative fun. I connect my current writing to the podcast. The killers we talk about, I write a fictional short story on these killers in the key moments in their lives, adding some context to the narrative of what these killers did, casting insight into their insanity, trying to understand it and how they impacted of the communities in which they lived. It's direct access to me and my writing and a forum in which I can earn some money and increase that creativity and spend money on it too. Cost a couple of dollars/quid, for the cost of a Starbucks keeps you entertained and and keeps me in Starbucks, so the bottom line here, Starbucks always wins.Enjoy and stay Frosty out there.Jb
Hey, thanks for choosing to hit play on the podcast I Hate This Book. In today's episode, I read to my wife about Tracey and her safe house. Does she meet Broc or doesn't she, Gosh what's happening as Broc's world is unravelling?I say early in the podcast that the podcast isn't that bad, but there's some violence that might touch the squeamish and I forgot about that as I was reading it. Sam pointed out a few times that I said that there was no violence, anyway. Kick back and enjoy chapter 20 of my book the Harvester. Also, a quick mention about Patreon, this brilliant company that allows people to subscribe to my creativity in return for something cool.So we will do minisodes every two weeks (Schedule permitting for both of us). The next episode is coming out this Wednesday, and we are chatting about the psychopathy of Albert ‘Ham and Eggs' Fish. The term the Bogy Man comes from this not so widely known killer. If you head on over to Patreon, there is a fictional short story about the killer Fish based on true events and that's what we shall do, the next killer which will be the first week in October will be the Candyman himself Dean Corll. I hope you like it.
