To date he has made over 150 films. In 2006 he had a major role in three televison series: The Inside on Fox-TV, the 4400 on USA Channel and played the Vice-President to Geena Davis's President on Commander in Chief for ABC-TV until the show's end. In 2011 he starred as the District Attorney in the new version of Law and Order – LA. In 2000 year he was the on-camera announcer of the Academy Awards Ceremony, taking the heavy-lifting off co-host Billy Crystal's shoulders for the detailed announcements and data which played live to an estimated one billion listeners. Mr. Coyote is well-known for his narration work, and has voiced 150 documentaries and TV specials, including the nine-hour PBS Special, The West. In 1992 he won an EMMY as the “Host” for a nine-hour series, called, The Pacific Century which also won the prestigious duPont-Columbia Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism. Director / Composer - Michael Giacchino and Editor - Jeffrey Ford ACE WEREWOLF BY NIGHT'S Michael Giacchino and Jeffrey Ford have had many occasions to work together in the past, but never quite like this. While WEREWOLF BY NIGHT is Michael's first time in the director's chair for Marvel Studios, he's been the composer on five of their features, two of which were also cut by Marvel stalwart, Jeffrey Ford. However, this special presentation for Disney + marks their first time collaborating as director and editor. WEREWOLF BY NIGHT begins after the death of legendary monster hunter, Ulysses Bloodstone. Five experienced monster hunters are summoned by Ulysses' widow, Verussa, to Bloodstone Manor where they are instructed to participate in a competitive hunt to determine their new leader. The object of their hunt is to retrieve the powerful Bloodstone from an unknown foe. Fly Away Home is a family film directed by Carroll Ballard (The Black Stallion). The film came out on September 13, 1996. Inspired by true events, the film tells the story of a 13-year-old girl named Amy Alden (Anna Paquin, The Irishman), who raises a flock of orphaned geese. With the help of her inventor father, Thomas (Jeff Daniels, The Comey Rule), Amy leads the geese south for the winter using an ultralight aircraft. Other characters include Tom's girlfriend, Susan (Dana Delany, Desperate Housewives), and Officer Seifert (Jeremy Ratchford, Cold Case) from Animal Regulation. Fly Away Home garnered critical acclaim and was nominated for Best Cinematography at the Oscars. It grossed $25 million at the U.S. box office. In this episode I'm joined by journalist Alex Mohajer, and we'll be talking about how art should represent and engage with the Trump Administration. How do we feel about the film and TV that has been produced in response to the last four years? And what should be the best approaches going forward to document this uniquely turbulent and corrupt White House across future comedies, dramas, and other genres of art? In particular we're going to look at The Comey Rule, Showtime's new miniseries about former FBI Director James Comey's impact on the 2016 election. The show, written and directed by Billy Ray and starring Jeff Daniels as Comey, is, we both felt, very good, and we'll look at how its strategies for dramatizing recent current events could serve as a guide for future work looking to retell the myriad stories and controversies of Trump's presidency.For those not familiar with Mohajer's work, he is a political writer, commentator, and activist whose coverage of the 2016 election and its aftermath made him one of the most shared contributors at HuffPost. He has been interviewed for or featured on The Fox News Channel, PolitiFact, Washington Post, LA and NY Times, Yahoo News, New York Public Radio, and many other outlets, and in 2018 he received the Excellence in Journalism Award for Excellence in Feature Writing from the National Association of LGBTQ Journalists. He is currently the Public and Media Relations Director of the Stonewall Democratic Club, and he hosts the livestreaming news show The AM Report for Happs. He's been on the frontlines of covering the events depicted in the The Comey Rule, so after watching it for myself, I knew I wanted to hear his take, too. In addition to that show we'll also discuss what other Trump-era film and TV has resonated with us, what other events we want to see get dramatized, and how comedies can approach an administration that often seems beyond parody.
