As the winter solstice arrives (21.6.22), we step into the longest night and the darkest day of the year. We have entered the peak of darkness and now we wait patiently for the light to return once more. This time of year is a perfect time to pause and reflect on what has already come to pass in our lives. Its a time to allow ourselves to surrender to the darkness and know that it is in the dark that everything is born. We only need to look towards nature to know that through stillness magic still happens. Trees are bare yet there is so much happening within their roots. Winter is a time of rest and deep replenishment. It is a time to light the fire within you. It may not seem like much is happening but many shifts are taking pace within.
Meditation reduces stress by giving your brain the space to let go of those thoughts which create tension. By meditating you strengthen the response of the pre-frontal cortex and reduce the impact of the amygdala, the control centre for the flight or fight mechanism. This meditation is great if you've had a stressful day and you're struggling to switch off. This meditation is best listened to with headphones and while sitting or laying down somewhere quiet where you wont be bothered for about 15 minutes.
This meditation will help you get in touch with your body mind and soul while you increase your personal awareness and create personal strength and well-being. This meditation is designed to be used in the studio with crystal singing bowls. This is also a beautiful meditation to drift off the sleep with at the end of the day.
This meditation focuses on your power within, while being gentle, kind, accepting and loving. The benefits of mediation helps to reduce stress levels and boost your focus and creativity, while fostering a sense of peace within. Focusing on your inner strength promotes resilience an helps you deal with the challenges that come your way with loving acceptance. Affirmation "I am gentle. I am kind. I am brave. I stand in my power."
This is a short visualisation meditation that aims to connect you to mother earth and learn from her wisdom.
Using our awareness of our breath we can focus on our present moment bring about a state of calm. with each breath we can then focus our attention on our heart space and visualise sending love not only to ourselves but also out into the world. This mediation is designed to be used in the lead up to a sound bath in a class or personal session.
Experience calmness of the mind using attention to breathing and heaviness of the hands and feet. This recording is intended for use in my studio setting with the use of the crystal singing bowls to take you into a deeper state of relaxation. However you can use this through out the day to bring about peace and calm.
Allow Jess to take you on a complete relaxation meditation, bringing our awareness to certain parts of our bodies and releasing tension. This meditation is designed to be used in a studio setting (paused for the singing bowls). However this can also be used without singing bowls and is a great mediation to use when you are feeling stressed or tense.

In this 10 minute meditation I will take you on a journey to the feelings of reaching your end goal. This mediation focuses on using our positive feelings and visualising our end goal as a way in manifesting it into our reality. So get comfy and find a space where you won’t be interrupted for at least 10 minutes, you can sit or lay down for this mediations. It is not advised to meditate while driving or operating heavy machinery.
