Incurable in my profession means curable from within, and the body does everything it can to teach people love. People's physiology reveals their psychology. Illness offers people deep insights and provides them with profound meaning. The darker emotions that we mask and bury deep inside our minds create a biochemical response with the body and begin to change our biology leading to many diseases. Most people don't understand their body's feedback messages. Your body is telling you about your perceptions, decisions, and actions in your daily life. www.annaanka.com

Today's episode is about surviving sexual abuse and being trafficked. Love is the universal human need, but in the wrong hands, it is the most powerful weapon used in sex trafficking operations. Contrary to popular misconceptions. Sex trafficking rarely begins with kidnapping by a stranger. Instead, sex traffickers groom their victims by using love, a romantic love, friendship, and familial love. To manipulate them into cooperating in their own exploitation. Through no fault of their own, many children have lived the early part of their life experiencing things that most people could not even imagine. Their upbringing included not only being sexually abused, but also being a victim of human trafficking. www.annaanka.com

Today's episode is about living with a Narcissist. Ideally in our closest relationships we share a healthy independence, offering encouragement, mutual regard, and respect, while evoking good from each other. But a narcissist uses gaslighting, projection, displacement, and intimidation to diminish and force you into subordination. Narcissists do not represent what's good about humanity, they are parasites, wishing to suck the life out of you in their own pursuit of power and significance. www.annaanka.com

Today's episode is about Blame. The main reason why we blame others is that it's a quick escape from guilt. Blame is an incredibly easy and effortless tactic to use when we feel defensive. If you don't hold yourself accountable for the consequences of your behaviors, thoughts, and feelings, you get to continue living life thinking that you don't have any flaws or areas needing improvement. Blame is often used by those who have a desire or need to be perfect. Do you find yourself blaming others when events don't unfold how you want them to? Does this pattern repeat often in your life? www.annaanka.com

Today's episode is about overcoming your addiction. For most people it is impossible to face the journey alone. People who are waking up to the fact that you don't have to have a drinking problem for drinking to be a problem. Alcohol is the only drug on earth that we have to justify not taking. Being sober allows you to be the person you were trying to be while you were drinking. It is important to always treat addicts with dignity, love, and compassion. Maybe we were teased for mispronouncing a common word or for how we looked in a bathing suit, or perhaps a loved one witnessed us telling a lie. Shame is the uncomfortable sensation we feel in the pit of our stomach when it seems we have no “safe haven” from the judging eyes of others. We feel small and bad about ourselves and wish we could vanish. www.annaanka.com

Today's episode is about Toxic Relationships. We have all been there…saying it's not me, it's you! As you are listening maybe a specific person or relationship comes to mind? The term toxic relationship is a label projection. Projection comes down to self-defense. Projecting something you don't like about yourself onto someone else protects you from having to acknowledge parts of yourself you don't like. A common example is a cheating spouse who suspects their partner is being unfaithful. Instead of acknowledging their own infidelity, they transfer, or project, this behavior onto their partner. Because people tend to feel more comfortable seeing negative qualities in others rather than in themselves. www.annaanka.com

Episode 9. Motherless Child and Grief

Today's episode is about being a motherless child and grief. There is something about losing a mother that is permanent and inexpressible, a wound that will never quite heal. No child is prepared for losing their mother. The pain of these losses will always be a part of the child. Growing up without the presence of a loving mother is devastating.  Since the mother is the first, the basic caretaker, losing her in a physical or emotional way starts a nightmare of deprivation for a child. In a way, it never ends. Many negative conditions and feelings experienced later in life have their roots in this extremely traumatic experience. A mother's loss is a soul injury, that children carry with them. Yet with time, most children find a way forward and begin to experience happiness and meaning. They learn to live with the loss, making it a part of who they are. www.annaanka.com

Today's episode: Is about how to defuse arguments. For most of us, arguing is extremely unpleasant and stressful. As we walk through our days, we hope that most of our interactions will be satisfying and free of conflict. Most people get triggered when they become challenged or confronted by others, especially if there is a difference in their opinions. Some people have such a desire, and they are determined to argue no matter what. This could be about almost anything and with anyone, including our most intimate partners, family members, friends, or colleagues. Unsolved arguments weigh heavily, both mentally and physically, on both parties. Sustained arguments can initiate a fight-or-flight response, which can take its toll on both parties immune systems and overall well-being. www.annaanka.com

    Episode 7. Resentment

Today's episode: Is about Resentment. What is it? Do you have some? Resentment is a negative emotional reaction to being mistreated or wronged by another person. With a mixture of disappointment, disgust, and anger, or as some therapists call it, a mood. It's a heavy emotion that can be extremely draining on our mind, body, and energy. If we carry around unresolved emotions and judgments for a long period of time, they eventually weigh us down and we are left feeling uncomfortable, irritated, tired, and run down. 95% of our thoughts, emotions, perceptions, and behavioral patterns are unconscious. We are simply not aware of all the old programs and judgments that take our energy and creativity. www.annaanka.com

Today's episode: Is about pain and suffering. Pain is one of its most touching melodies. It affects us so deeply and emotionally. It is also a messenger, a teacher, a guide. It whispers the truths, unravels realities, and unveils wisdom. Pain is not just a feeling, it's a language. A language that speaks of our struggles, our challenges, our growth. When we listen to our pain, we hear stories of resilience, tales of strength, chronicles of endurance. We learn lessons of patience, courage, and hope. We discover our potential, our capabilities, our power. We should consider pain as a mirror that reflects our deepest fears, our hidden wounds, and our silent battles. Yet, it also serves as a beacon, guiding us towards healing, growth, and transformation. It acts as a compass, pointing us towards our truth, our purpose, our destiny. Embracing pain, we should not fear its presence, instead we should honor it. www.annaanka.com

Today's episode is about Infidelity. Have you ever been infatuated with someone? It was as if they could do nothing wrong. They made your heart beating so fast. You just knew they were … The One. But then things started to unravel. This perfect person “disappointed” you. You began to see that they weren't so perfect after all. And it really bummed you out. For some reason, you imagined that there would be all positives and no negatives. All support and no challenges. The reality of who they really were didn't match the fantasy of who you wanted them to be. This kind of imbalanced thinking has been the death of many relationships and marriages. I know I'm guilty of it. Been there. More times than I'd care to admit. www.annaanka.com

Today's episode I will explain how to overcome stress by rewiring your thinking patterns about stress. What is stress? According to American Psychological Associations “Stress in America” survey conducted in 2021, nearly 80 % of American adults reported experiencing symptoms of stress as body aches, fatigue, or feelings of anger or irritability. It's important to understand that stress is a feedback mechanism and not something negative that should be avoided at all costs. www.annaanka.com
