Let's get back to the good ol' days of Marvel. It seems like Marvel might need to take some notes from earlier films, so we are reviewing Captain America: The First Avenger. Kai and Bryn dissect what makes a truly great origin story, and what will hopefully happen for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The newest Batman installment brought a moodier detective based take on the classic superhero tale. Robert Pattinson is here to make all your Emo Batman dreams come true. Just as long as you have 17 hours to dedicate to watching it...

The Mercado Kids are back with Kai's Batman movie pick of Batman Returns! With the dark and twisty mind of Tim Burton backing this film, it is one of the most unique Batman movies to grace the screen. And let's not forget the ever present and most important theme....snow. Whether you love it or hate it, we can all agree that Michell Pfifer is the best Catwoman ever right? Or is that just Kai's opinion?

Your eyes do not deceive you. The Mercado Kids are actually discussing a DC Movie! This week we start a new series where each Mercado Kid will pick their favorite Batman movie to review leading up to the release of The Batman in March. This week's pick is Bryn's personal favorite, Batman Begins. Take a look at Christopher Nolan's dark and grounded interpretation of the Batman origin story.

Turns out we CAN talk about Spider-Man a little more. We couldn't wrap up our Spider Series without giving the kids a chance to speak about Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. This week we have a special MiniVision starring Shea's eldest kids, Olivia and Parker. While Shea might not be the leading expert on all things super, these kids sure do know what they are talking about. Tune in for a little controlled chaos, and a lot of fun!

We can't think of a better way to wrap up 2021 than with our Season Finale! We finally got to talk about the much anticipated Spider-Man: No Way Home. SPOILERS AHEAD! If you haven't seen this movie yet, run to the theater and then run back to our podcast, because this is an episode you won't want to miss!

Often times this movie gets lost in the shuffle, which is unfortunate because it is a great re-make...or should we say Spider-Man variant?

The Mercado kids are back with another brand new Marvel release. Eternals is Marvel's latest step into Phase 4, and we are always excited for new movies! While it was critically disliked, we happened to have a soft spot for this movie. The diverse cast truly shined, and we can't wait to see more of them. What did you think of Eternals? Now dig on this. Did you miss us? After a few weeks off, the Mercado Kids are back with a bang to review the hot mess that is Spider-Man 3. With 4 different villains, musical song and dance numbers, and a very Emo Peter Parker, there is a LOT to digest with this film. While we didn't love it, we have to give credit where credit is due. This movie is responsible for countless gifs and memes. So that's something, right?

What if...it was Howard the Duck all along? The Mercado Kids recap the second half of the Marvel animated series What If, and this season definitely got twistier and turnier as the season wrapped up! We like to think of this animated series as crash course for the multiverse themes that will be prevalent in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

We are walking down memory land on our much anticipated journey to Spider-Man: No Way Home. Because of our introduction to the multiverse, and knowledge that we will be seeing villains from past films, the Mercado Kids have decided to review each Spider-Man film made prior to the big release. This episode explores Spider-Man 2, which is arguably the best Spider-Man movie of the past. Now if we only knew what the future holds for these characters!

The Mercado Kids go all the way back to 2000 to discuss X-Men. The nostalgic love we share for this film even allow us to excuse what was the worst line in cinematic history from the one and only Halle Berry. From iconic breakout roles, to complex dynamics, and even a dancing toad...this movie really has it all!

The moment we have all been waiting for is finally here! We get the first new character feature film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Captain Marvel. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings does not disappoint. Listen to the Mercado Kids give their opinions on what made Shang-Chi such a slam dunk.

What if....you listened to our newest episode? This week the Mercado kids dive into the expansive new animated series on Disney Plus. We get our first look into alternate universes within the Marvel universe, and what would happen if our favorite characters were no longer what we expected them to be. The prodigal son has returned! We reluctantly welcome back Shea to discuss the second half of Loki season 1. The television featuring everyone's favorite MCU villain has arrived on Disney Plus. This week Kai, Bryn, and Shea deep dive into the complex first episode of Loki. With multiverses and sacred timelines, there is no telling where this show will go! And with the God of Mischief at the helm, we know it will be a wild ride.

"With great power comes great responsibility" - Uncle Ben The Mercado kids discuss Spider-Man, a super hero movie that holds a special place in all of our hearts. We finally decide about how we felt about Jake Gyllenhaal as Spider-Man, and discuss why Shea should have been cast as Harry Osborn instead of James Franco. "Hulk...SMASH!" - The Hulk a.k.a Bruce Banner This week we dive into Kai's least favorite film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Incredible Hulk. Edward Norton and Liv Tyler lead the only Hulk film in the franchise. Was it good? Was it bad? We can't really decide. All we can say is we had a smashing good time. Get it?

"What is grief, if not love persevering?" - Vision The Mercado kids talk about Marvel's first big attempt at television programming, WandaVision. From 50's sitcom comedy to modern day action scenes, this show had it all! And it all started when a witch and a robot fell in love. Spoiler Alert: This is Kai's clear favorite.

"I am Iron Man" - Tony Stark Let's take it back, wayyyy back. This week we are discussing the movie that started it all, Iron Man! Take a trip down memory lane, and relive the starting off point for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Popcorn not included.

"The desire to become a superhuman cannot be separated from supremacist ideals." - Zemo The Mercado kids are recapping and reviewing the second installment of Marvel television, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
