You ever watch an old interview and feel your stomach drop? At the time it aired, everyone laughed, everyone clapped, everyone moved on. But years later, knowing what we know now, it hits very different. Well, we want to talk about interviews that have aged like milk—moments that were waved off as jokes, charisma, or just a different era, but now read like warning flares. Sean Connery casually joking about hitting women. Cris Collinsworth bragging on air about chasing underage girls and nobody blinking. Tom Cruise grinning through interviews that feel less charming and now more unsettling. And then there are interviews that go from awkward to outright chilling: game show appearances from Randy Alcala, a serial killer with a smile; interviews with Chris Watts calmly playing the role of concerned husband while hiding literal bodies and skeletons in his proverbial closet. These aren't just cringy clips. They're reminders of how often evil doesn't look evil—it looks confident, funny, successful, and even safe. We're talking RPGs again, this time in the company of Tanya Floaker (Mum Chums, Lo! Thy Dread Empire, Solstice, Be Seeing You, a|state). Along the way we'll get into Tanya's history with Moorcock and genre fiction, gaming in Thatcher's Scotland, first steps into game design and the pending launch of their new Kickstarter for The Thunder Perfect Mind, launching 1st February 2026. If you're interested in reading more, and even getting a hold of early drafts, check out Tanya's itch.io page. We'll also look into what Tanya would do around the gamification of Michael Moorcock's Multiverse, the 12-part comic series. I like it. I like it a lot. In addition, friend of the show and long-standing patron Randall Gatlin calls in to talk about all of this Moorcock malarkey and reveals what may possibly be the coolest interaction with Mike and Linda I've yet come across. They dig into a real story of a high-potential rep who wasn't thrilled about a big quota increase—and what it took to turn resistance into growth. Along the way, they break down how the right intent, honest conversations, and data-backed coaching can elevate performance, and they share the practical frameworks and tools that separate good managers from true leaders.Jeremy Duggan is the President of Multiverse and an advisor to high-growth technology companies navigating scale. This is the second half of our conversation with Micaiah Johnson continued from our last episode about necropolitics in Ned Beauman's 'Venomous Lumpsucker'. Micaiah is the author of the Ashtown duology, ‘The Space Between Worlds' and ‘Those Beyond the Wall', and we spoke to her about these books in episode 49, loosely on the topic of the Multiverse but more about the social and political aspects of a future dystopia divided by extreme inequality. Since that interview Micaiah has become Dr. Johnson, completing her PhD on those very subjects, and in this episode we focus on her PhD which is titled ‘The Unkilled: White Supremacy's Insidious Preservation of Black Lives'. Here we delve more deeply into social and political science to understand something about the dark underbelly of inequality, violence, and frankly evil which has permeated the foundations of our civilization, and continues to do so in a shockingly relevant moment as we see the eruption of American fascism today. This is a pretty intense conversation addressing some heavy topics, but Micaiah does so with the kind of bright passionate intelligence that it takes to sustain a long fight against the darkness. When Don Lemon appears in a church in St. Paul Minnesota—not to worship, but as part of a protest meant to disrupt and mock—it tells you something about the moment we're living in, because mockery has always come first. Before Christians were hunted by Nero and later wiped out under Diocletian, they were ridiculed—painted as dangerous, irrational, and unfit for public life. That same pattern is playing out today. While churches here are mocked, Christians in Nigeria are being hunted, burned out of their villages, and murdered for their faith—much like believers in Rome, punished not for crimes but for refusing to bow. And the pressure doesn't stop there. In the early Church, false teachers like Valentinus and Marcion didn't attack Christianity head-on; they redefined it, reshaping Jesus to fit the spirit of the age. Different century, same pattern: public scorn, real persecution, and a counterfeit gospel meant to replace the real one. The question is whether the Church recognizes the parallels and stands firm. Managing people and leading them are often treated as the same skill, but the gap between the two is where many organizations stall. In this replay episode, Jeremy Duggan joins the conversation to explore one of the most critical distinctions in business leadership: the difference between driving results and developing people. Drawing on real-world experience scaling multiple companies to billion-dollar valuations, Jeremy unpacks why great leaders prioritize belief, execution, and long-term growth over short-term outcomes, and why vision only works when it's paired with disciplined follow-through. Whether you're struggling to balance leadership with management or looking to elevate your team to extraordinary performance, this conversation reveals the principles that separate good managers from truly great leaders.Jeremy Duggan is the President of Multiverse and an advisor to high-growth technology companies navigating scale. Welcome to the RPGBOT.Podcast, where tonight we bravely attempt to eat the entire Dungeons & Dragons campaign setting menu in one sitting. No tie-ins, no supplements, no "this was technically in Dragon Magazine once" nonsense: just the official D&D settings, served tasting-menu style. From post-apocalyptic deserts where magic killed the planet, to punk fantasy with robot soldiers, to the setting so generic it's basically carbonated water, we're ranking, roasting, and reminiscing about the worlds that shaped tabletop roleplaying games. Grab your character sheet, loosen your belt, and prepare for Forgotten Realms Coke vs Greyhawk Pepsi discourse. Show Notes In this episode of the RPGBOT.Podcast, we review the official Dungeons & Dragons campaign settings created by Wizards of the Coast (excluding licensed tie-ins and sub-settings) to help players and Dungeon Masters understand what makes each world distinct. Rather than deep dives, this episode delivers a high-level overview of each D&D setting's tone, themes, and playstyle, helping listeners decide which campaign setting best fits their table. Campaign Settings Covered Birthright – A kingdom-management focused D&D setting where divine bloodlines grant rulers supernatural authority. Ideal for players who want politics, rulership, and domain-level play alongside traditional adventuring. Dark Sun – A grimdark, post-apocalyptic fantasy setting defined by ecological collapse, psionics, scarce resources, and moral ambiguity. One of D&D's darkest campaign settings. Dragonlance – Epic fantasy rooted in legendary novels, fallen gods, returning dragons, and mythic heroism. A classic D&D setting built around narrative arcs and world-shaking events. Eberron – A pulp fantasy and dungeon-punk setting where magic functions as technology. Airships, warforged, political intrigue, and post-war fallout define this highly popular D&D world. Forgotten Realms – The default D&D campaign setting for 5e. High-magic, high-fantasy, dense lore, iconic characters, and flexible adventure design make it the most widely recognized setting. Greyhawk – The original published D&D setting, emphasizing sword-and-sorcery, moral ambiguity, and classic fantasy roots tied to iconic spells and characters. Mystara – A simplified fantasy setting originally designed for Basic D&D, featuring lighter tone, fewer races, and a more approachable style for new or younger players. Nentir Vale – A minimalist fourth-edition setting designed as a flexible framework rather than a fully realized world—perfect for Dungeon Masters who prefer homebrew. Planescape – A multiversal setting centered on Sigil, the City of Doors. Philosophical factions, planar travel, cosmic weirdness, and reality-bending concepts define this fan-favorite. Ravenloft – Gothic horror fantasy featuring cursed domains, tragic villains, and psychological dread. A setting focused on atmosphere, consequences, and survival. Spelljammer – Space fantasy for D&D, blending swashbuckling adventure with crystal spheres, astral travel, and magical ships sailing between worlds. Key Takeaways Not all D&D campaign settings are designed for the same playstyle—some emphasize politics, others horror, survival, or pulp action. Forgotten Realms works as the most flexible and accessible default setting, especially for new players. Eberron stands out for its coherent worldbuilding and logical use of magic as technology. Dark Sun and Ravenloft require player buy-in due to their heavy themes and darker tone. Planescape offers unmatched freedom and philosophical depth but demands strong DM preparation. Nentir Vale exists primarily as a DM toolkit rather than a narrative world. Older settings like Greyhawk, Dragonlance, and Mystara remain relevant for groups seeking classic fantasy vibes or nostalgia-driven campaigns. Dungeon Masters should choose a setting that reinforces—not fights—the story they want to tell. Welcome to the RPGBOT Podcast. The gang's back together — Jordan Centry, Jonathan Williams, and Jason Allen King — with rum, coke (a lot of coke), and big 2026 energy. We open with an important announcement: Three's Comedy Tour hits the Cain Center for the Arts in Cornelius, NC on March 10. If you're in Charlotte, Huntersville, Mooresville, or anywhere nearby, grab tickets now at cainarts.org. Then we get into awards season chaos, including the indie horror film “Good Boy” — shot from a dog's perspective — and the question nobody expected to debate: Can a dog be a great actor? (And does this open the door for more dog-led horror films?) From there, the conversation turns into a love letter to craft: acting choices, career pivots, and why certain performers (Michael B. Jordan, Timothée Chalamet, Idris Elba, Anne Hathaway, Matthew McConaughey, and more) hit different when they're locked in. In the second half, we show love to the Charlotte comedy scene, shout out both clubs (The Comedy Zone + Duckworth's) and talk about what it means to get “passed” — plus why that kind of recognition matters for building a real comedy culture in the city. Finally, we set 2026 goals for each other (with equal parts encouragement and roasting), and close with a Would You Rather that turns into a full-on morality debate: Generational wealth… or a portal gun that lets you travel the multiverse? Three's Comedy Tour — March 10 (Cornelius, NC): cainarts.org Upcoming shows: Jordan Centry opening for Shapel Lacey at Duckworth's, Jonathan Williams headlining Laugh at Lenny (Jan 16) Like, Comment, Subscribe — and tell us: Money or Multiverse?

In this episode, we explore accidental quantum leaping — the idea that we may be shifting timelines far more often than we realize. We dive into timeline shifts, the Mandela Effect, and multiverse theory, and how these concepts might explain everyday “glitches,” shared memories that don't match reality, and moments when the world feels just slightly… off. This episode isn't about proving what's real or not. It's about opening curiosity around how fluid reality might actually be — and why so many people feel like they're slipping between versions of their life without trying to.MAGNETIC AFFIRMATIONS (1HR+): https://21-day-break-up-glow-up-challenge.teachable.com/p/making-mind-magnetic-affirmations-all-eyes-will-be-on-you-793498

Loki was never just a villain you defeat. He was a character who changed the shape of the story. In this episode of Marvel Maniac, we take a deep, character-first look at Loki's journey—from his origins in Phase One, through his tragic end in the Infinity Saga, to the radical reinvention that begins in Loki. This isn't a hype episode. It's about identity, consequence, and self-awareness. We explore how Loki's early belief that power equals purpose ultimately fails him… why his Infinity Saga ending had to be permanent… and how the TVA forces a version of Loki to confront his entire life in a single hour—stripping away denial and revealing who he could become. Along the way, we talk about: Phase One Loki's insecurity and performance Why Loki never outruns consequence in the Infinity Saga The TVA as a psychological experiment Earned growth vs forced clarity And why Loki now stands at the center of the Multiverse—not as a conqueror, but as a guide This is a story about beginnings and endings. About changing the long way—and the fast way. And why Loki may no longer be chasing a throne…but standing at the crossroads of everything that comes next.

Former Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore has been fired, according to Michigan With Cause, and has been arrested and is facing charges involving stalking, breaking and entering, as well as felony home invasion—claims that have already cost him his job at the national powerhouse and cost him tens of millions of dollars. But his story isn't unique: Ravi Zacharias, Bill Hybels, Carl Lentz, Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, Danny Masterson—the list goes on. Different worlds—sports, church, Hollywood—but the same pattern. Power doesn't destroy men overnight. It erodes them quietly when no one says “no.” But the Bible warned us in advance: Samson didn't lose his strength when Delilah cut his hair; he lost it when he treated his calling like a toy. Solomon didn't fall after the first infidelity, but when he suppressed God's warnings about where it would take his heart. David didn't collapse when Bathsheba appeared; he collapsed when kings went to war… and he stayed home. What we want to talk about is what history, and more importantly, the Bible lays out as some of the foolproof plans for ruining a man and his family. Steve Rogers was given what felt like a perfect ending in Avengers: Endgame. He returned the Infinity Stones. He stayed behind. He chose Peggy. He finally went home. But the MCU doesn't live in a world of perfect endings anymore — it lives in a world of consequences. With rumors swirling about Chris Evans returning in Avengers: Doomsday, this episode explores why Steve's return only works if it means something. Through the lens of the Multiverse, incursions, and Victor Von Doom, we unpack a darker possibility: that Steve's final act of love may have helped fracture reality itself. What if Doom's world was destroyed by the fallout of Endgame? What if Tony Stark's face becomes the ultimate weapon against Steve Rogers? And what if Steve isn't returning to save the day — but to answer for it? This isn't about undoing Steve's legacy. It's about completing it.
