I read this often and today I needed it again. My dear one, the battle between two ‘wolves’ is inside us all. One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other is good. It is: joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.” The grandson thought about it for a moment and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?” The old Cherokee replied, “The one you feed.”
The only thing your excuse provides is comfort in the reason you tell yourself why you’re not where you want to be. Here’s a cold hard fact: if you become comfortable with the reason about why you’re not where you want to be, you’re never going to get there. Hit play and I’ll say it again for those people in the back!
Social media is the perfect grounds for social experiments. However the best ones come from the most unexpected posts. There I was in the gym, finishing my last set... I go to the wet wipe dispenser thingy (technical term google it) and low and behold on the floor what do I see? Inches from the waste basket? A used towelette (oh yeah... that's what they're called) Well, I snapped a picture, Threw it away, and used the carelessly disposed towelette as content for a post about: How you do ANYTHING is how you do EVERYTHING! (Shout out Andy Frisella) The rest ensues in this episode..
Emotions- They can be the best fuel in your journey, but they can also burn everything down. Through these episodes my mission is to show the grit behind the grind. I will not show you a perfect path, but I will share my imperfect lessons. What happens when we find ourselves engulfed in emotional flames? Because it will happen... They key is to realize it, and take action on resetting your mindset in those moments. Here's what happened to me this week, and how I took control and hit reset.
This isn't easy to talk about, but it's a whole helluva lot easier than it used to be. 7 years ago this month I lost my Father to Cancer... He died nearly one year to the day after his diagnosis. In that year, and the years to follow I learned the lesson that changed my life. My dad was there to see my first breath, I was there to see his last. Even in his passing, he was teaching me life's most valuable lessons... To live it.
What are YOU doing to BOOM YOURSELF, YOUR LIFE, YOUR FAMILY, YOUR BUSINESS?? I’m sure you have a plan... but ask yourself: Is it “Enough”? If you said yes, you need to soul search... bc Enough should never exist. If you said no, listen to this then let’s talk. Text me Now (if you’re serious) otherwise, settle for enough 727.301.0004
We've heard that before, right? Well IT'S THE TRUTH!! Activity/ACTION Cures ALL! Always! Don't believe me? Aren't buying it? Name one time when everything was falling to sh*t and doing NOTHING made everything better??
At some point we started looking for knowledge to replace action. It happened to all of us at some point. Some of us realized it and are working to correct it, but others... Others are stuck in that complacent circle searching for the "Easy Way"
Go ALL IN on the BELIEF in YOU! Easier said than done, huh? You know why that is? Ok.. this is going to saying harsh, but here it is... It’s because you know you’re full of _____. I told you it was going to be rough. It’s ok though. We all are. Yes, all of us. So, great Joe... I tune into your post and you tell me I’m so full of, it, that I can’t even believe myself. Gee thanks! That’s not what I said. I said WE all are. You see we know the promises we don’t keep to ourselves. That diet we didn’t keep That workout we quit That new morning routine we didn’t stick to All of the broken promises, we’ve been lied to! That’s why our self-belief is limited The lower you belive in yourself, the more you’ve probably been lied to, by yourself Now that we know the problem, how do we fix it? Start keeping the commitments we make to ourselves Duh? Right? Depending on how low or high that Belief level is, start small. Examples: Start with the snooze bar, wake up with out it Start with cutting out sodas Start with drinking “x” amount of water Start with making “x” number of calls Etc Then as you’ve proven that you’ve kept those small promises, make em bigger, and more... Before you know it, you’ll be well on you’re way to BELIEVING in yourself so much, that you’ll need something else to work on and improve
These episodes come from a real struggle/battle/lesson I have fought or am fighting. This episode is just that... Give me 10mins and let’s talk about our addiction... to the validation of others... Also, time to get SELFISH

When searching for content for the Mindset Over Everything Podcast sometimes I look to other SME influencers like: Ed Mylett, Dean Graziosi, Grant Cardone, Gary V, Ryan Stewman... Today it comes from my 12year old Talan. Growing In Greatness is a project he wrote on 8/16/2017 and it's one of the most impactful messages I've ever read. Let's reconnect with our 11 year old minds.
It's ok to do what's good for you in the process of doing for others. In fact, it's imperative.
Have you ever found yourself being drug down by a bad partnership? Cutting dead weight is sometimes the biggest jolt forward you can have...
This morning I’ve been in a great mood lately anyway but this morning I was in rare form. Blasting 90s hip-hop throughout the house, rapping, dancing, embarrassing the kids... and then it hit me, this is just as crucial as any concept we’ve presented. DON’T LOSE YOU in the process!
What do you think of when you hear the word "Pathological?" What if I said "I want you to BE PATHOLOGICAL about your life and your success." We discuss how to apply this trait to your success.
DO NOT "fake it til you make it"This is one of the worst Mindsets out there... in my humble opinion. You do not have to fake anything. Instead, learn what you do well, and do that, often. Going all in on your strengths is one of the best confidence builders out there.
In this episode we talk scheduling your personal development and designing your perfect average day. If you're anything like me, you have a night stand full of books you've been meaning to crack open... Well, here are 4 of the 12 by my bed that I'm going to actually start on. We Also discuss Frank Kern's "Perfect Day" and how to develop our own.
This episode should be listened to immediately after shotgunning a Bang Energy drink!! We break down a great concept introduced by Ed Mylett from his IG. THIS is one of the most crucial concepts you could ever apply to your life! So go get your caffeine, grab a pen and some paper, and lets go to church!
It's all about your TEAM!! We wouldn't have the momentum we have without the people we have on our team. In this episode I share the wins the team is having and some insight into what "Go All In" means starting out.
When we compare where we're at to where others are, we're introducing all sorts of unnecessary resistance and stress.
Where, I'm from, Where I've been, Where I'm going... A brief history of How all of this started.
Nothing to fear except... fear? In this MOE episode we break down the mindset of fear and how to eliminate it.
For a lot of people it's the most wonderful time of the year!! 4th QTR! Family, Business, & Everything in between!
Motivational MEMEs We see them everyday. All over IG and Facebook. A lot of them are great, but what are they actually saying? In these MEME Breakdown series of M.O.E. we will select one or two and break them down peeling back the layers. Get to the meat of the concept so we can truly apply them to our daily lives.

Are you doing this? Many times I find that when we want to get our point across we go about it from a point of opposition. Not everything in life is a debate. If you want to communicate your point of view more effectively, try doing this:
Your level of success will never be higher than the level to which you hold yourself accountable.
By now we’ve all heard the “Go All In On Your Passion!” And all the variations. Just jump! Both feet! You’ll figure it out! I think there’s a misconception as to what that means.
In this inaugural episode of the new Mindset Over Everything series, we tackle the topic of accountability. There’s a reason I call it an art. It's something you create. The foundation of your success and processes.
