With an elegant drift Kane made four outstanding kicking minimal tracks while creating her typically sort of breeziness. She delicately placed all the charming arrangements very well in order to sound super authentically rooted. Dance Baby, dance! D. Diggler's interpretation on the A Side retains much of the vibes from the original track 'Beatbox'. His remix is heavy steady-footed and you surely will find trendy going-ons and pulsing statements as well. On the Flip Side version of 'Sidewalk Morning' Dualism made some smooth and seductive sound manipulations. Deep and subtle as usual, their interpretation expresses thrilling beat-driven emotions and contains a snapshot of low-beat-techno in motion. DisplayFM extended the release with a pristine re-work of 'A Sound Stuck in my Head'. A loved-up warming remix that conveniently aligned its output. Kane came along way baby, so instead of waiting for the bogeyman, get yourself a drink, eat a Hawaii Toast and start swinging the swing while listening Kane's Debut EP on Numbolic Records. Our japanese dear Friend Hidenobu Ito is definitely overwhelming and it seems almost comically out of place. From alien hydraulics to percussive steel fractals he allows to take shape within the realm of impossibility. There's a feeling of constant movement and shaky energy that means his music never quite stands still. Highly resonant and rapidly-panning drum hits act like flickering fluorescent lights. The result is perhaps the heavily abstracted layering and most sonically release to date. Every sound, no matter how tiny, is endlessly tweaked and picked apart. NUMB013 - GATHSPAR - HURRY UP PONY! Remixes by DUALISM - HIDENOBU ITO - KASTER CORDALIS - GRAU - STORLON We're getting a lot of Demos on a daily basis and listening through them is a daily grind. The longer we listen the longer we're kinda disappointed by how the music industry evolves. However, getting a Demo from this young polish artist was incredibly refreshing and obviously the first artist who made it to Numbolic Records that way! Gathaspar is a natural-born storyteller and with his own subtle hooks he turns in a solid and fabulous EP that covers more then the darker end of the techno spectrum. ‘Hurry up Pony!' is ultra deep breathtaking, and yet remained sexy in a way, it is surprisingly slow and everything seems perfectly timed. This release includes 5 marvelous and stunning re-interpretations by Dualism / Hidenobu Ito / Kaster Cordalis / Grau / Storlon. The range clasp a feeling by riding into full-blown dance floor until very approaching cutting-edge sounds. All in all NUMB013 is a pretty darn well slotted sound package! Be Numbolic..!
UNLTD004 - JACEK SIENKIEWICZ - MAGIC MOUNTAIN 12" VINYL EP Remixes by DUALISM - DISPLAYFM Whenever you talk about polish electronic dance music, then there is no way around 'Jacek Sienkiewicz'. We have to admit, we're pretty proud to have him on board for our next Release on Numbolic Unlimited! 'Magic Mountain' is a real stunning & sophisticated solid EP. Recognition's Labelhead intrigues with extraordinary attention that can only come from a history of many years. His soundpatterns find the right balance between order and messiness and he knows exactly when to take things out and when to bring them back in. Focusing on the groove, the title track 'Magic Mountain' bumps along similar lines while maintaining quiet hyperactive. Rarely does minimal techno this classy remember to move it so well. Damn, what a beautiful Track! 'Black Fog' Jacek's 2nd Track, is closeted by a whomping bassline that is completely surrendering to a mystical construction. That's for all jocks whichever like to keep a uniformly dark and techy vibe through the night. As usual Dualism added their very personal & trippy style. Their Interpretation of 'Magic Mountain' features a recognizably verse-hook and stay on-point from the beginning throughout the very end. Oh Boy, shake that booty! DisplayFM brings up a number that leaves behind imbued wilderness with perfect vibes. It underscores the hypnotic atmosphere of the original and is built for maximum dance-floor effect. Considering that the world is struggling between war and piece, we're all in need of retrieving freedom & beauty. Jacek's 'Magic Mountain' EP is probably what we have been waiting for. NUMB012 - CHRISTIAN DITTMANN - OTOÑO EP (12" vinyl & digital) Remixes by PHEEK - PARTIKEL / MANDY JORDAN - OMAR SALGADO Our Chilean friend Christian Dittmann catches up with his 1st EP on Numbolic Records. His Music is exceptionally & stunning arranged. Every element is perfectly placed on its right position and some huge-aestetic patterns turn into deep, moody & driving tracks. The A-Side track 'Otoño' is an effortlessly cool and airy composition packed with lots of lyrically elements. With 'Soñando con Luces' he has been taken care of fine style as far as simple beauty is concerned in order to make an auspicious B-Side. Accomplished with graceful self-assurance, Christian provides a really sharp picture of his musical vision. Pheek himself provides a bouncier rework of the title track 'Otoño', cutting out much of the melancholy in favour of a smashing kick and a plodding surround. He takes this one further into tech territory, bringing his typically sounds & grooves to the table. Partikel's version of 'Otoño' is preserving most of the original's signature elements while bumping up the groove with its very own subtle and unhasty details. In addition to the 12" release we have added a handful of interesting digital enhancements. With 'Colores', Christian takes things in a different direction while speeding it up even more. Pheek's 2nd edit of 'Otoño' feels like mellow, heavenly and sharp sounding at the same time, just another enrichment to this release. Having two more remixes of 'Soñando con Luces, Mandy Jordan and Omar Salgdo both strike back with their very own interpretations, their remixes are very rolling, deep and absolutely rocking on the dancefloor! Well, good news for all vinyl junkies. German based Geoff Bell shows his unique talent on 'The Freddy Eiser Show' EP while he starts off our brandnew series of 12" records! His Music is excellent dodgy crisp & very authoritative. On the other hand he is combining euphoric, funkiness that is crying out for sunshine-barbeque with Tofu Burgers. The A1 side tracker 'Mosös' has the intensity and mood of a trippedout psychedelic gathering of imaginary friends. It's full of big wide claps, an interchanging bassline and swirling pads drifting around cut up vocals. 'Dusty' on side B is more dancefloor oriented while it's delivered in a slow shuffled sway. Whether you call it freaky or minimal either way Geoff applies an aesthetic statement to keep you biting your nails and shaking your ass. The forward-thinking duo Dualism contribute a fresh & exciting remix. Their Interpretation of 'Mosös' turns into a deep, introspective groove with the sentient & distinctly feel of the original and more dance floor-oriented in approach. Liiebermann maintains straight & tight to their interpretation. Their Remix keeps on pumping right from the start and you will find yourself locked in the moment. It's really something for when you want to push the intensity up a gear or five. In addition to the 12" vinyl edition, 3 more original Tracks & 2 more Remixes are to be released digitally. Remix-vise Christian Dittmann and Robert Matthaei bring things back down to earth. Both with a passionate belief in letting the music do the talking. Christian's remix is straighter then the original but with a depth and rumble that feels well right on the main-floor! Robert flips for a deep & instrumental funk-tech version and somehow you can't get rid of the feeling sitting in a whirlpool listening some romantic music on drugs. UNLTD003 - DUALISM - FUTURE PERFECT PART ONE Remixes by BUTANE & LINEAS DE NAZCA 'Future Perfect - Part one' is not the ultimate Dualism EP that fans may dream of. Instead, It feels like a well finished statement with musical personality to a great extent. it is a challenging Release that seems richer with each listening. Dualism kick off with a unique, tight and bright-driving track called 'Blackthorn' and a flattering splendid minimal tune named 'Rumpsteak'. A perfect balance between hypnotic nature and emotional dirty techno. They keep things firmly in Club territory, with their driving sequences, punching drums and deep vibes. Butane's production is very solid throughout, his remix is full of hooks and he seems to be intent on keeping the dance floor moving while Lineas de Nazca makes no concessions to current trends, instead staying close to his very own sound. The uncompromising approach Dualism takes on this EP makes it a treat for techno & electronica fans. Anyone interested in music with an edge and artists that are willing to take risks should give Dualism's 'Future Perfect - Part one' a listen. It may lead to an addiction, though! Be Unlimited..!
