La Lic. Diana Pérez, docente de la Licenciatura en Nutrición de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Unidad Xochimilco, profundiza en la aplicación del enfoque de atención centrada en la persona y en las herramientas que fortalecen la consulta nutriológica. Explica que la entrevista motivacional constituye una estrategia de comunicación que busca comprender las motivaciones, dudas y ambivalencias de cada individuo, favoreciendo que los cambios en la alimentación y el estilo de vida surjan de la propia reflexión del paciente y no únicamente de las indicaciones del profesional de la salud. En el transcurso del diálogo describe diversas habilidades que facilitan este proceso, entre ellas la escucha empática, las preguntas abiertas, las reflexiones y los resúmenes, recursos que permiten conocer mejor el contexto de cada persona y establecer una relación de confianza.

La Lic. Explica que este modelo reconoce a cada individuo como protagonista de su propio proceso de atención, considerando que las decisiones relacionadas con la alimentación y el cuidado de la salud están influenciadas por factores emocionales, culturales, sociales y económicos. Desde esta perspectiva, el profesional acompaña a las personas en la construcción de cambios acordes con su realidad y sus necesidades. A lo largo del programa reflexiona sobre uno de los principales desafíos de la consulta nutricional: comprender que conocer qué hábitos son saludables no siempre conduce a modificar el comportamiento. Por ello, resalta la importancia de explorar las experiencias, creencias y circunstancias particulares de cada paciente antes de diseñar una estrategia de intervención.

La Lic. Diana Pérez, investigadora del Departamento de Atención a la Salud de la UAM Xochimilco, analiza en esta emisión la problemática del sobrepeso y la obesidad infantil, así como los retos que implica su prevención y atención desde una perspectiva integral de salud. La especialista destaca que la obesidad infantil se ha convertido en uno de los principales desafíos de salud pública debido al incremento sostenido de su prevalencia y a las consecuencias que puede generar desde edades tempranas. Señala que los niños con exceso de peso tienen mayor probabilidad de desarrollar alteraciones metabólicas como diabetes, hipertensión y modificaciones en los niveles de lípidos, condiciones que anteriormente se asociaban principalmente con la población adulta. Al abordar la evaluación del estado nutricional, explica que el peso corporal por sí solo no permite determinar la condición de salud de un niño. Por ello, es necesario considerar indicadores como el índice de masa corporal para la edad, los patrones de crecimiento, antecedentes clínicos y, cuando sea necesario, parámetros bioquímicos.

It turns out to be a suggestive verb with a strong history in the OT connected with Moses' tabernacle. Dr. Denis L. Salgado is the Lead Research Fellow & Assistant Executive Director at the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts (CSNTM). His publications include (co-editor), Intersection: Interdisciplinary Approaches to New Testament Text and Manuscript Studies. ICE, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, seems to have a mandate to kill. They've struck again!Welcome to this explosive, fact-finding episode of Light ‘Em Up.On Tuesday July 7th in the early morning hours, 52-year-old Lorenzo Salgado Araujo took his coffee and food his wife had prepared for him, said goodbye to his wife and their dog, and left the house he built.He drove his white van, picked up three co-workers, and headed towards a construction site to work on some houses.But Salgado never made it to work.During a “targeted enforcement operation”, ICE officers shot and killed Salgado and arrested the three other men.ICE says Lorenzo Salgado Araujo tried to ram agents with a van before one shot him dead.  Almost immediately, questions emerged over how the encounter had escalated.  In initial statements, homeland security officials said that Mr. Salgado Araujo had tried to use his vehicle as a weapon.History and the evidence have shown that ICE has a long track record of lying. They lied about Renee Good and they lied about Alex Pretti as well. Pam Bondi immediately held a national press conference to spin farcical stories to help cover the Trump administration's asses.  Claiming that agents shot Renee Good because she “refused commands to exit her vehicle” and “attempted to run over an officer with her car” — weaponizing her vehicle.Through their legal representation, the three witnesses who were in the vehicle with Mr. Araujo (all Mexican nationals) dispute the account by ICE of the fatal shooting. A lawyer for these men (a Mr. Hugo Balderas-Ibarra) said that account of ICE was untrue.Salgado's death marks the 10th of 11 fatal shootings by federal immigration officials nationwide since the second Trump administration took office, a review of public reports by Light ‘Em Up shows — as the Trump administration continues with its anti-immigrant crackdown.For 35 years, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was undocumented and chasing the American Dream.  He hoped to obtain legal status, his family said. United States.They discuss the background of the case with their unique perspectives, starting with Unikowsky's framing of the case for his client, Chatrie, and his thoughts on the arguments he made in his defense when he argued the case before the Court on Monday. Salgado, who worked for Google for years answering such warrants and co-authored the technologist amicus brief, discusses how the Court seemed to be handling the sophistication of the technology issues. Dreeben, who argued Carpenter, the Fourth Amendment technology case seen as the precursor to Chatrie, frames up the stakes of the Fourth Amendment issues. They debate the values of various technology metaphors, the long term future of the third party doctrine, and what the Justices seem most concerned with coming out of the arguments on Monday.
