The Art of Art making. pprocessedd is a series of dialogues with creators of many disciplines concerning what art is, how it's made, and what it's for.
Social Murder: The knowing causing of the inevitable premature death of members of an oppressed class by deliberately and structurally exposing them to lethal conditions.
I return to the realm of the corporeal and bring you along with me through a fairly uninteresting day
*Trigger Warning: Disturbing language and imagery* I traverse a tunnel filled with caustic memories to consult a friend. (Featuring original compositions and essays by Colin Salinger)
Acausal Parallelism: also defined by Carl Jung as “Synchronicity”; the simultaneous occurrence of events which appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection. “How are we to recognize acausal combinations of events, since it is obviously impossible to examine all chance happenings for their causality? The answer to this is that acausal events may be expected most readily where, on closer reflection, a causal connection appears to be inconceivable.… It is impossible, with our present resources, to explain ESP, or the fact of meaningful coincidence, as a phenomenon of energy. This makes an end of the causal explanation as well, for "effect" cannot be understood as anything except a phenomenon of energy. Therefore it cannot be a question of cause and effect, but of a falling together in time, a kind of simultaneity.” - C.G. Jung
Biocentrism: an “attitude of respect for nature", whereby one attempts to make an effort to live one's life in a way that respects the welfare and inherent worth of all living creatures
Tribulation: distress or suffering resulting from oppression or persecution; a trying experience. (Featuring a composition by Daniel Johnston)
Antireductionism: the position in science and metaphysics that stands in contrast to reductionism by advocating that not all properties of a system can be explained in terms of its constituent parts and their interactions
Tulpa: a concept in mysticism and the paranormal of a being or object which is created through spiritual or mental powers. It was adapted by 20th-century theosophists from Tibetan sprul-pa (Tibetan: སྤྲུལ་པ་, Wylie: sprulpa) which means "emanation" or "manifestation"
Tenebrism: from Italian tenebroso ("dark, gloomy, mysterious"), also occasionally called dramatic illumination, is a style of painting using especially pronounced chiaroscuro, where there are violent contrasts of light and dark, and where darkness becomes a dominating feature of the image.
