Embark on an enlightening exploration of nutrition and supplementation with the help of my esteemed colleagues, Dr. Jeff Graham and Dr. Michael Donovan. Together, we peel back the layers of our daily diets, uncovering the hidden power of micronutrients and macronutrients alike. Dr. Donovan's four Fs—fuel, function, fun, and fasting—serve as our compass, guiding us through the complexities of meal timing, the joy of eating, and the discipline of fasting. Fuel your mind with knowledge on creating a nutrient-dense diet that curbs hunger and prevents overeating, while enjoying the delight of delicious, balanced meals. Our conversation goes beyond the plate as we tackle the controversy of calories versus hormones and their dance within our bodies. Through the lens of a chicken breast versus a doughnut, we confront the starkly different hormonal impacts of foods with identical calorie counts. We then shift gears to the crucial role that protein plays, not only in muscle building and fat loss but also as a stalwart ally in regulating our hormonal equilibrium. Venturing further, we critique the rise of processed foods, contrasting past dietary habits with today's trends, and considering how the complexities of flavor can inadvertently lead to overindulgence. As we reach the finish line, our focus turns to athletes and fitness enthusiasts, discussing the intricacies of nutrition and exercise. We dissect the importance of metabolic flexibility, timing nutrient intake, and the psychological nuances of eating that affect fitness goals. Do not miss Dr. Donovan and Dr. Graham's final words, as they graciously offer their contact details for those hungry for further wisdom. If you're ready to transform how you approach your plate, with both science and savor at the forefront, this is an episode that will nourish both body and mind. http://drjade.com/butcherbox Connect with Next Level HumanWebsite: www.nextlevelhuman.comsupport@nextlevelhuman.comConnect with Dr. Jade TetaWebsite: www.jadeteta.comInstagram: @jadeteta

Michael Donovan's photography is considered some of the most cutting edge, dark, provocative and unique in the fashion world--little do his fans know he started out as a stand up comic with a character named 'Cool Mike' who basically said the meanest things possible ever. And may have caused world war. This podcast is too weird to explain so just listen.

Hope you're right smack dab in the middle of an excellent week. Today's episode of Synchronicity was recorded live in L.A. at the MIND / WAVE event on March 18th. I'll admit to being a little nervous about how the event would turn out, but in the end it couldn't have gone any better. It was such an incredible time meeting so many of the podcasters on MindPod Network for the first time. Being able to put faces to names in 3D reality is never a bad thing. If you missed the event and wanted to attend, we'll be doing more of these very soon. But back to the episode... In this episode, I sat down with Kelly MacLean from The Tao of Comedy and Michael Donovan from Walking Home to discuss spiritual elitism, the meaning of life and the importance of community. In Episode 20, Jessica Ann talks with fashion photographer and podcast host Michael Donovan. Michael Donovan's images navigate an exploration into consumer culture, advertising and the emotions separating art and fashion photography. According to HungerTV: “Combining the beautiful with the bizarre, the controlled with the chaotic, Donovan´s photography attempts to destabilise the highly polished images expected of today´s consumer culture through the use of the psychedelic, androgyny, comedy, eroticism, surrealism, fantasy, Pop Art, cinema, fetishism and historical nuance.” {Warning: Explicit language!} In this interview, Michael and Jessica Ann discuss: His background as a photographer and the paradox of being an artist. How advertising is the old way of being propaganda and "product is perfect" is dead. It still works because not everyone has woken up. This old world still works but we're moving away from it. So there's this exciting new corridor. The irrelevance of having a title: "I'm more than a photographer. I'm a spiritual being who happens to be plopped out of this body." Ram Dass's exploration as to why we're here on earth, using TV channels as metaphors to get to the root of our existence and to understand the different planes of consciousness. Available to listen to here. How to balance the duality between the lower Channels 1, 2, and 3 and 4, 5, 6. Do we still need to have titles and "personas" when we live in an enlightened society? Most people want freedom, happiness, and peace. And most people want to give others freedom, happiness, and peace. If we don't recognize that each of us are consciousness, what's the point? Everything is pointing us towards togetherness. Technology is another animal like we're another animal. The importance of leaders talking about intuition and the need to create a shortcut//access point to make people understand the relationship between brands, businesses, and channel 6.

Recently I had the pleasure of sitting down with slash ingesting cannabis pixie sticks with filmmaker and highly tuned-in person, Sean Dunne at his apartment in Brooklyn. Sean has made some truly incredible documentaries (Trump Rally, Oxyana, Florida Man, Cam Girlz, American Juggalo) which you can (and should) check out over on his website (FOR FREE): http://www.veryape.tv/ Sean and I met once last year but this time we really had a chance to connect and learn more about each other and am very glad we did. Credit to Michael Donovan for linking us up. We talk about marijuana, DMT, psychedelics, veganism, Sean's super awesome films, Donald Trump and a whole bunch of other stuff. Note: I am a big time potty mouth in this episode and basically every mind-altering substance is mentioned so now you've been warned. Michael Donovan is a prolific multi-disciplined creative visionary born in Spokane, WA. Donovan uses photography, video and a podcast to communicate his interests in the "Two Great Bookends of Life," (sex and death) as well as the exciting content that fills our experience. His irrepressible work trains his eye on spirituality, culture, materialism, youth, aging, objectification, mental health, environmentalism, sexuality, and the confusion and joys we develop from living a life wandering through interesting times. Both humor and drama often set tones for his work. Michael's visual art uses strong, visceral, raw, bold imagery with dark and moody undertones. His work includes fashion, portrait and "sex pop" to create a body of work that is cinematic art, immediately recognizable, and full of life. Published globally, his work has appeared in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, Playboy, L'Officiel, Ginza, Vision and Wonderland. Luxury, fashion and music clients include Givenchy, The Pierre Hotel, Gap, Interscope and Sony. www.artistdecoded.com www.instagram.com/artistdecoded www.twitter.com/yoshinostudios

Michael Donovan is a committed evangelical Christian. He is also a Freemason. Doug Harris of the Reachout Trust believes that being a Freemason and a Christian are incompatible. They join Justin as he asks whether Freemasonry is a religion, what it says about God, and whether Christians should be involved in secret societies.
