Resurrection Life Church is a body of believers that are in love with God and with people. We are a church that is full of life, believing that Jesus came to give us a life on this earth that is abundant so we could give that life away to others. Believing that the joy of receiving life is only surpassed by the joy of giving life.
Our world has gone insane, crazy, and losing it's collective mind. Good is evil and evil is good. Right is wrong and wrong is right. Up is down and down is up. The world has been turned upside down. As followers of Jesus how are we to live in the days of evil? Simply put, look at Jesus. Keep our eyes on Him. Listen to Him. Walk with Him. Converse with Him. His strength, His Joy, His Hope, His peace will guard our heart and mind, if we Look at Him.

The world is going crazy, many might think and believe. However, the world has been going crazy for a long time. But what's coming in the near future is way beyond our thinking and understanding. That is why it is paramount that we have the wisdom of God to live our lives with power and strength that only comes from Him. The wisdom of this world has produced a world in which we are finding it harder and harder everyday to function and live in. Wars, moral decay, the onslaught of AI, and much more. The disciple James tells us how to live in this world and if we call on God in faith He will give us the wisdom to not just survive in this world but to thrive in it.

Faith is not just a noun or just a verb. They are both. You may ask how can they be both? You see you can't have faith without works but works are a result of your faith. Faith in Jesus, not your works. Works done for your glory or the glory of man will only lead to religious piety. Works as a result of our faith in Jesus because we love Him and people, will have reward but the reward is inconsequential. We do because of who we belong to. We do because it is who we are. We don't find our identity in what we do but because of who we are and who He is in us we, do. We work. We believe. We have faith and we do faith!

The world has gone mad, crazy, and is out of control many say. But what does God say about the crazy mixed up world? In the midst of the storms of life He is there to comfort us. To calm us in the middle of the storm, not to necessarily calm the storm. The Apostle Paul dealt with a time at the church in Corinth where they needed comforting and who did God use? A person. An imperfect person. A person with flaws, but a person who sought after God and in so doing was able to bring comfort to the church at Corinth. Who was that person, Titus. As God comforts us we must comfort others. You can give away what you don't have. Position yourself in a way where God's comfort and overwhelm you instead of life doing it.

Miracles are remarkable. Why, because they don't happen all the time and they go against normal, everyday life happenings. They also go beyond the natural. They are supernatural happenings that can only be contributed to a supernatural being, God. Encounters with God should always be supernatural and remarkable. We however get "used" to the awesome presence of God and lose or fear, awe, and wonder of Him. Listen as Pastor Jacob Hickman share how one remarkable miracle changed peoples lives.

Success and Significance are not the same. Can you have one without the other? Yes, but which one? There have been many men and women over the centuries that have been extremely successful monetarily but their impact on the world was shallow. Their lives were insignificant because they used up all their influence, power, relationships, and money on themselves. It only benefited them or those closest to them. Jesus' life and the words He spoke changed the world. His glory, majesty, wisdom, and love was divine to say the least but He lived in such a way that all the divine attributes and more impacted the world around Him and in the hundreds and thousands of years later. He lived a life of significance and in the process was successful. He literally changed the world and how we view time. Now that is significant. Your choice, which one will it be?

The Holy Spirit of God has been misunderstood and misrepresented since the day of Pentecost. When the people of the city heard the 120 in the upper room speaking in tongues and worship they supposed they were drunk. Unfortunately it is not much different today. People afraid of the Holy Spirit because they don't understand Him. This summer series will deal with the different aspects of the Holy Spirit and how He can work in our life. And how if we allow Him freedom to move in our lives He can use the Church to change the world.

The Holy Spirit was at the beginning of time as we know it. He has been prominent though out the Old Testament. But when He shows up in the New Testament, He shows up in power and might. Because of that power the world was changed forever and the Church of Jesus Christ was born and continues to thrive in the midst of turmoil and chaos because of the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Our earthly fathers should be a representation of our heavenly father. However, that is not always the case. Why? There are a thousand different answers. If you and I are going to be the godly fathers that we should be then that means we have to go to our heavenly father and let Him father us, guide us, and love us so we in turn can be that to our children. We need our Father God in order to be a godly father to our sons and daughters.

Life can get a little choppy at times. Difficult to say the least. The storms of life don't show up when it is convenient. No, they are always in the most hard, difficult, and perilous times of our life. However Jesus is always with us as His followers. He might not be behaving as we think He should be He is with us none the less. Jesus will not let your "boat" sink. No, with Him it will "float". He may not calm the storm He just might need to calm you in the midst of your storm. Either way, He is in control. Your job is to simply trust Him.

Our values are what define us. We live our lives based on our values. You can say all day that you believe a certain way but it is your value system that will be lived out on a daily basis. That is why we; RLM have core values. These are the five basic values that determine what we do as a church familyand how we love our God and community. It is the family way. It is these values that help empower us as followers of Jesus to fulfill the mission that He has called us to.

One word from God can change your world instantly. It can revolutionize your life. Set you on fire. Enable you to do things that have been beyond your grasp. One word from God can not only change your life but all those around you. God wants to speak to His people. The question is, do His people want to hear His voice?

Our lives as followers of Jesus Christ should be a witness of Life. The Life that He brings. The Life that He is. The words we speak should bring life. The life we live should bring life. How we do our jobs should bring life. Why? Because we are witness of that Life. The disciples saw first hand as eye witnesses to the Life that Jesus brought to people while He was on this earth. However, it was in the best interest of the entire world that Jesus should leave. Because then He could pass that Life on to us and we then begin giving that Life away, so, others can be witnesses of Life also.

At one time in history a cross represented cruelty, pain, sorrow, shame, and the worst of humanity. The Romans wanted the cross to strike fear into people's heart. It was easier to control the masses when horrific death scenes were on display. It was during 4th century that the Cross became a symbol of hope and redemption rather than one of death. Although the death that Jesus suffered on the Cross that day two thousand years ago was horrid and unimaginable, today all across the globe the Cross is beacon to all those who are in need of hope, restoration, and life. Today there is a POWER in the Cross. No more inability to be the man or woman of God that He called us to be.
