Find Betsy: @the.disco.ninja Betsy Burnett has grown up with a love of health and fitness. Having being a dancer from the age of 8 inspired her to be active throughout adulthood.Always enjoying sport at school she naturally turned to the gym once she stopped dancing to keep active, and like a lot of other women who aren't sure what to do in the gym she used to spend 45-60 minutes on a cross trainer or treadmill and then complete 15-20 mins of Ab work!Once she had increase her knowledge within the health and fitness industry, what she did in the gym altered. She moved to Sydney in late 2014 and completed her master trainer in Personal training. She believes becoming a PT has allowed her to learn the movements in correct ways as well as share her love with everyone else. Her style of training has varied over the years as mentioned earlier from mainly cardio, then to circuit and Hiit training, it transitioned again to Crossfit and Olympic weightlifting for a while and now she enjoys adult gymnastics strength training, obstacle training, yoga and sprint training to top it all off! After many years coaching 1-1, group training and managing a gym she has taken a new career path and is working at a Ninja kids gym in Brookvale, coaching the kids and inspiring the next generation. Her biggest achievement in her time as a trainer and athlete is competing in the channel nine hit show, Australian ninja warrior where she made it to the semis in season 1, falling off the fourth obstacle in both rounds. Season 2 she has been only the 3rd girl in Australia to make it up the warped wall!At the age of 29 she just wants to share her love of what she does and her purpose is to teach and inspire this generation and the next to become the best version of themselves through training, nutrition, mindset and lifestyle!
