Kari is the Membership Services Director for the Motion Picture Association Trusted Partner Network where she works with program participants and members to help grow the TPN program and TPN+ platform for security preparedness and enhanced awareness of content security best practices at all stages of content development in the digital media supply chain. He has worked on huge projects like: Star Wars (Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, Rise of Skywalker), Mary Poppins Returns, Frozen 2, Toy Story 4, The Simpsons and The Oscars 2020 among others. In this episode we will dive deeper into his career, his experience of realizing he wanted to change the focus of his career in music to something different, how he started getting gigs in LA and how to make projects successful at various budget levels.

In this episode, Maria and Lina will share their unique journeys living and working in the heart of the entertainment industry and discuss the highs and lows of being based in Los Angeles. Maria is a talented photographer and musician who has worked with big brands and clients. She will take us on her adventure from living in Colombia and making the decision to change her career from a musician to a photographer, to study at The New York Film Academy, and move to LA. Lina is a post-producer who has also collaborated with a lot of important companies, brands, and artists. From small gigs to producing and post-producing big projects, Lina shares the intricacies of living in LA and working across a wide array of sub-sectors of the industry.
