Hoy entra en el club de las 'Miss Experiencia' alguien que ha hecho realidad lo que parece una utopía: convivir con amigas durante casi 50 años. Y cuando convivir es en mayúsculas. Petra es una de las cuatro 'chicas del Carmel' (en la suma también están Juana, Pepa y Marta). Hoy tienen entre 69 y 76 años. Las 'chicas del Carmel' decidieron hace 47 años vivir juntas por convicción. Son más que amigas, son una familia y un ejemplo de que hay otras formas de compartir vida. Viven bajo el mismo techo aunque tres de ellas están casadas. Ellas han roto el corsé legal y social que define lo que es un matrimonio o una familia. Su pacto de convivencia, podríamos decir, incluye una cláusula que las ha unido más todavía si cabe: la lucha contra las injusticias sociales. Porque a ellas las verás siempre dispuestas a pelear por las grandes causas.
