When we go to church or youth groups, we expect in some way or another, to engage with the bible. Oftentimes in our life however, we end up seeing or hearing scripture in all sorts of places we don;t expect. From sporting events, to work, at school or at home, bible verses can get thrown around to encourage or even condemn. For the next few weeks we will be looking at a couple of verses from the bible that get used, and sometimes taken out of context, more of than others. Let's read these verses together and find the context in which they were originally used for, to help us get a better understanding of how scripture can and does impact our lives daily.
