There are hundreds of Doctor Who episodes and stories out there and we intend to watch them all! The Who Back When | A Doctor Who Podcast is an amazing podcast that has been running for a decade, reviewing all episodes of Doctor Who, both classic and new. Led by Ponken/Leon and a variety of co-hosts, this podcast takes a critical but light-hearted look at each serial or episode, even when the writing, acting, or production values aren't up to par. The hosts' opinions may not always match perfectly with mine, but I still enjoy listening to their discussions because it's interesting to hear different perspectives.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is that they read out Listener Minis, which are reviews submitted by their followers. This adds a unique and interactive element to the show that many other podcasts lack. It's great to hear different opinions from fans around the world and be part of a community that shares their love for Doctor Who.
However, one downside of this podcast is that the language can get rough at times, as indicated by the Parental Advisory warning. This means I don't feel comfortable playing it at work or around kids. While it may add authenticity and humor for some listeners, it can be off-putting for others who prefer cleaner language.
Overall, The Who Back When | A Doctor Who Podcast is a fantastic podcast for any Doctor Who fan. It provides entertaining reviews, trivia, and discussions about both classic and new series episodes. With its witty and enthusiastic hosts, this podcast brings joy to fans and helps fill in trivia gaps and plot holes in the Doctor Who universe. I highly recommend this podcast to all Doctor Who enthusiasts who want to delve deeper into their favorite time lord's adventures.
