New audio prayers that aren’t in the book
I grew up as an only child. My parents took me to most of the places that they went, but I remember one time they left me home by myself. I was home alone. (You know, maybe somebody could make a movie about that someday.) Well, anyway, we lived in this third floor apartment on the south side of Chicago. It was getting very late. I was sitting near the back door waiting and they should have been home by now. I was worried. I remember hearing sirens and I thought, “Oh, no!” Okay, my imagination went crazy; it was taking me all over the place. I was thinking of all the bad things that might have happened to my parents. I was already there and then the sirens came. I was sure the sirens were for my mommy and my daddy, but they weren't. But the fear I had that night was so great (how about this?) - I still remember it don't I? I'm Ron Hutchcraft, and I want to have A Word With You today about “Never Home Alone.” Our word for today from the Word of God comes from Romans 8, beginning with verse 37. You probably know this fear of abandonment that I had that night. That's not unique to me, or even to a child. I'm thinking of a friend of ours who struggled her whole life with the fear of abandonment. She was left by her parents a lot because they were in mission work and there were a lot of “goodbyes” and she was always vulnerable to some bad choices because she was always afraid that she'd lose what she loved and what loved her. All right, Romans 8:37, referring to the most dangerous things that could happen to you in your life, “In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced (boy, here's the best news you might have ever heard) that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future (boy, this has got everything covered!), nor any powers, neither height nor depth (and that's like just in case I've forgotten anything), neither anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus, our Lord.” This is where God promises one unloseable relationship. God created us to anchor ourselves to one relationship. The problem is that every other relationship on earth is losable. I think of the night when my wife was almost dying from hepatitis, and we weren't sure she'd make it. And I knelt by her bed and I said, “Dear God, please spare her.” And I thank Him that He did spare her life. But that night I almost lost the one relationship I thought would never leave me. She said she would never choose to leave and I would never choose to leave her, but you know what? There come those times when the choice is out of our hands. One day that choice did come and now she's in Heaven and I'm still here. See, you need a relationship you can't lose, and you can't take Jesus away. He will not leave you—ever. He is the unloseable one. Any human love I receive, well, that's a welcome bonus, but my identity is supposed to be knowing Jesus. So, do you know Him? See, life is never secure until you belong to Christ. That begins the day you get your sin erased by putting your faith in what Jesus did when he died on the cross for that sin and then you're in His arms to stay. Nothing in heaven, nothing on earth, nothing in hell can take you away from Him. You've had your sins forgiven. The only thing that will keep you out of God's heaven is gone because you've put your trust in the One who died to remove those sins—Jesus, His One and only Son who's alive because He walked out of His grave. He can walk into your life today. He said, “I will never leave you or forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). And you decide whether that relationship ever begins, and you decide when it begins. Let it be today. Tell Him, “Jesus, I'm Yours.” You need to get to our website to find there everything you need to know to be sure you belong to Him. That website is ANewStory.com. The child in all of us hears the sirens. We imagine life without someone who loves us and we fear a future alone, and then Jesus steps in at your invitation and makes this awesome promise, “I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20).

New Audio Prayer Collection from of course my own Saintly prayer life
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ. . . . — 2 Corinthians 4:4 In this passage Paul speaks of people's minds being blinded by “the god of this age.” This is a reference to Satan, the devil, who is still very active in our world today.Has the god of this age, the devil, blinded you? I think an honest answer would be that although we can see the gift of the gospel, we can certainly be blinded by the devil's distractions and attractions today. For example, how about constant and malicious online stories about political opponents? How about porn? Looking at it may make you feel virile and powerful—for a short time. But it is not reality, and it is not God's will for our sexuality. How about scrolling through your favorite social media hour after hour? Too often we see only one side of the story in increasingly demeaning ways. How about false religion like the prosperity gospel, claiming God will make you wealthy if you just follow its teaching? How about “action movies,” in which people are killed or tortured in gruesome ways for entertainment? The god of this age is present in so many ways today, making all of these things seem normal and desirable. Most of these influences, and more, are also just updated versions of what people faced in Paul's day.Give your mind a break. Let the true gospel enlighten you. Dear God, so many influences today are used by the devil to lead us astray. Help us to reject the evil they present as if it were normal. In Jesus' name, Amen.
This week on Ministry Minute, we delve into a groundbreaking message entitled “Let's Get To Work.” We discuss God's plans for our lives as outlined in Jeremiah 29:11 and explore the main purpose behind every assignment He gives us— the mission to win souls for Christ and make disciples. The word “trees” shows up more than 200 times in the Bible. Discover why it may not just be “the heavens that declare the glory of God” but also trees.Receive The Bible mentions trees more than 200 times throughout the Old and New Testament. From Genesis to Psalms to Matthew and into Revelation, it seems as though many significant theological events in the Bible are marked by a tree. As we consider the significance behind many of the trees included throughout Scripture, may we discover that not only do the heavens declare the glory of God, but so do trees. As we ponder the crucial role trees play in how the story of the Bible is told, let's look for God's fingerprints wherever we see a tree or a branch or a bush or a root or some kind of fruit mentioned in a passage. And as we notice the trees in our world a little more, may they help point us to God. Reflect Read the verses connected with this episode below. As you reflect on the Scripture, what stands out to you? Why did God want to protect Adam and Eve from this one tree? How do Psalm 1:3, Psalm 52:8, Psalm 92:12, and Proverbs 15:4 describe what it looks like to be flourishing in our Christian life? What can we learn from the warning we read in Matthew 7:15–20? How do Acts 5:30, Romans 11:17–18, and Galatians 3:13 point to Jesus redeeming us from our sin? How do the mentions of the tree of life found in Revelation 2:7 and Revelation 22:1–2 encourage you? Based on Psalm 1:3, Matthew 7:15–20, Luke 6:43–45, and James 3:12, what are some of the signs of a good tree vs. a bad tree? Respond (Use this prayer to start a conversation with God) “Dear God, thank You for telling us of Your goodness and glory even through trees. The Bible is filled with feasts and tables set for God's people. Discover the significance of these meals and gatherings and why they still matter today.Receive God delights in setting a table for His people. From the last supper Jesus shared with His disciples before His sacrificial death to the meals He shared with His disciples after His glorious resurrection, there are various lovely moments of fellowship between Jesus and His followers recorded for us in Scripture. The early church also knew the importance of breaking bread together. As we consider the meals mentioned in the Old and New Testaments and the greatest wedding banquet that's still to come mentioned in Revelation, may we rejoice in knowing that God lovingly provides for our every need. Reflect What do Matthew 9:9–13, Luke 19:1–10, and Luke 7:34 teach us about who is invited to the Lord's table? Why does Jesus' last supper with His disciples recorded in Matthew 26:17–30, Mark 14:12–26, Luke 22:7–23, and John 13–17 still matter to us today? Why did Jesus break bread with His disciples even after His resurrection as mentioned in Luke 24:30–32 and John 21:1–14? In Acts 2:42–27 we read about the early church sharing meals together. Why would that have been so important to them? Isaiah 61:10–62:5 and Revelation 19:6–9 point to the church being the bride of Christ and look ahead to Jesus' bridal banquet. How do these Bible verses help you understand how precious you are to God? Respond (Use this prayer to start a conversation with God) “Dear God, thank You for your love and faithfulness. Thank you for providing for my every need. Help me to trust You even more with every day that passes. Whether it's in the Garden of Eden, Egypt, the wilderness, or a mountainside near the Sea of Galilee, God knows how to provide for His people. Let's learn about the tables and meals in Scripture.Receive How lovely that the story of God happens around tables. From the farm-to-table picnic of lavish eating in the Garden of Eden, to the “fast food,” rushed meal during the first Passover, to God's provision in the wilderness of heavenly food, on into the New Testament servings of a simple lunch to feed thousands, God delights in providing for His people. “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” — Matthew 6:33 Did you play hide-and-seek as a child? I did, and I play it now with my grandchildren. (They are easy to find when they're under a blanket on the couch.)In our text for today Jesus talks about seeking God's kingdom and his righteousness as our first priority, our main goal in life. And when we do that, all of the things we need will be taken care of. The point here is not to wish us good luck in finding something well hidden. Rather, Jesus urges us to pursue God's will, placing his purposes first in our lives so that we may live as he calls us to.The good news is that God and his kingdom can be easily found. We can find God and his kingdom in the life of Christ and among believers who listen to God's Word and strive to live by it. They aim to live righteously by acting justly and with mercy for all people, as Jesus did.Jesus' teaching ministry can be summed up with these words: “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” (Mark 1:15). God's kingdom is found in Jesus, who said, “Follow me” (Mark 1:17), and taught that he is the only way to God and his kingdom (John 14:6).If we don't have a specific destination, we will just wander. Christians know, as Jesus showed, that their ultimate destination is God and his kingdom. This is what we must aim for as we follow Jesus' teachings by the power of his Spirit. Dear God, may the aim of our thoughts and desires be toward you. May your Spirit help us to seek your kingdom first in all we think, say, and do. Amen.

This week on Ministry Minute, we present a groundbreaking message entitled “Turn Back.” We delve into the urgent call to repent of our sins and turn back to God. We explore Zechariah's message about repentance, acknowledging that we've all fallen short of God's perfect standard. However, we emphasize that no one is beyond God's forgiveness. We discuss the freedom found in Jesus Christ, His sacrifice on the cross for our sins, and the gift of salvation He offers to all who seek it. We encourage listeners to lay their struggles, addictions, and shame at Jesus' feet and embrace His grace to become a new creation. #JesusLovesYou #Repent #MinistryMinuteTurn Back | Ministry Minute EP313Romans 10:9:That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. We all have sinned, we all have made mistakes, but in spite of our imperfections, a perfect God sent His Perfect Son to die for those very imperfect sins, so we can have eternal life. THAT'S REAL LOVE. THAT'S JESUS' LOVE. In order to receive this forgiveness you must confess and repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ into your heart which you can do by saying this prayer wholeheartedly:Dear God,I confess and admit that I am a sinner, and I ask that You please forgive me and save me. (01:31) “Dear God, I wonder can you save me / Illuminati want my mind, soul and my body”, rapte Jay Z in 1996. Worry has a way of quietly filling the mind—about the future, finances, work, relationships, and everything in between. In Matthew 6:33–34, Jesus speaks directly into that pressure, not by dismissing our concerns, but by redirecting our focus. Instead of being consumed by tomorrow, He invites us to seek God first today and trust Him with what’s ahead. Freedom from worry isn’t about never feeling anxious thoughts—it’s about learning where to place them. Jesus teaches that life is lived one day at a time, with God as our provider and guide. When we shift our focus from what we can’t control to the One who holds everything together, worry begins to lose its grip. Peace grows when trust becomes our daily response. Highlights Worry is common—but it doesn’t have to control your life Jesus doesn’t shame worry; He redirects our focus Seeking God first reshapes how we handle anxiety about tomorrow Living one day at a time helps reduce mental overwhelm Prayer is a practical way to release anxious thoughts to God Filling your mind with truth helps quiet spiraling thoughts Peace grows when trust in God becomes your default response Do you want to listen ad-free? Full Transcript Below: The Desire to Be Free from WorryBy Vivian Bricker Bible Reading:“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” - Matthew 6:33-34 (NLT) Worry weighs heavily on most of us. Tight deadlines at work, endless tests in college, and difficult financial situations can cause us to worry. To worry is to be human. Although many of us may feel ashamed for worrying, we must remember that it is a part of life. We can trust God and still feel worried about certain circumstances. Worry does not equate to a lack of faith in God. Rather, worry is simply what it is: being afraid or doubtful about what will happen. Worry can completely control our lives if we let it; however, we can also stand up to it. My dad and I are avid walkers, and we often come across many cyclists. What I have noticed about most cyclists is that their biggest concern is speed. Many of them ride with a forward lean, as it helps them become more aerodynamic and enhances their speed. However, there is one cyclist we occasionally see who is different from the others. Rather than being hunched over and focused on speed, he simply rides his bike, plays music from a loudspeaker, and appears to be free from worry: laid back, relaxed, and genuinely happy to be there. As he passed us one day, I told my dad, “I wish I could be that relaxed.” I think most of us feel the same way… to be free from worry and to genuinely enjoy the little things in life. While I’m sure this cyclist has worries at times, he also seems to know when to let them go and focus on what brings him joy. This is something we should aim to do in our own lives. While our worries may not disappear, we can learn to set them apart from other areas of our lives. The first step in easing these worries is to turn to God in prayer and reading the Bible. Intersecting Faith & Life: Jesus tells us, “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today” (Matthew 6:33-34, NLT). Rather than endlessly worrying about what is to come, we need to surrender these worries to God (1 Peter 5:7). As the Lord says, we are to focus on the Kingdom of God and live in obedience to Him. This means focusing on the present and faithfully living out God’s teachings found in Scripture. If we choose the path of worry, it will be difficult to stay focused on God. Worry can cause us to spiral further. Yet it can be eased by talking with God. Tell Him why you are worried. Be honest with Him. He will never downplay your concerns or treat them as unimportant. It is also helpful to think about things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8-9). Fixing our minds on these things can help quiet our worries. Instead of dwelling on the concerns of today or tomorrow, reflect on the beauty around you—the trees, a joyful call from a friend, or a warm hug from a loved one. Pray to God whenever worry rises in your heart. Let’s go to Him together: Dear God, I want to be free from worry. You know how worry creeps into my mind every day. At times, it feels like it could drown me. Help me to rise above the worry and to reflect upon Your Son’s words. Guide my heart after Your Kingdom and to live for You. Remove my anxious, worried heart and replace it with a steadfast, unwavering heart. Thank You for listening to my prayers, God. In Your Son’s Name, I pray, Amen. What are your most common worries? “He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you. . . .” — Luke 24:6 I remember walking up to the Grand Canyon in Arizona for the very first time. I thought I knew what to expect since I had heard so much about the Grand Canyon. But then I stepped out of the national park trolley, walked over to the edge of the canyon, and leaned up against the safety railing. The vastness, the colors, and the distance to the river below took my breath away! I realized that while I had heard about the Grand Canyon, I had not really understood what “Grand Canyon” actually meant.Similarly, the disciples and the women who had followed Jesus had heard him talk about rising from the dead on the third day, but they had not understood what he had actually meant. So when they saw the empty tomb after the crucifixion, and when they eventually saw Jesus alive again, he took their breath away! Here was the living Jesus, walking and talking, eating food, and holding his damaged hands out for them to see.Today the church remembers that breathtaking surprise: Jesus' resurrection. We talk about it as, among other things, the beginning of a new creation, with Jesus being the firstborn from among the dead. It's enough to take our breath away—the miracle itself, and then all of the many other miracles that it set in motion. Dear God, today we read and remember the truth about Jesus' miraculous return to life. Help us to understand it also as a launch of your new creation, and to know the hope and joy that it brings. Amen.
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” — John 3:3 In today's text Jesus' words baffled and amazed Nicodemus the Pharisee:• To experience fully what God is doing, you must be born again.• This rebirth, like your first birth, is a miracle accomplished by the Holy Spirit.• The Spirit leads you to believe in the power of Jesus, God's Son, to save the world from sin and to give you new life forever with God.Huh!?! Nicodemus was confused. This was not the first time Jesus' words jolted a religious leader. Jesus began doing that at the age of 12 (see Luke 2:41-47).Now, what kinds of surprises do these words of Jesus bring to us today? For people who sense that being a Christian is only about themselves and Jesus, the global scope of Jesus' words can be breathtaking. For people who assume that Christian faith can be a nice addition to their self-directed life, the idea of rebirth into a totally new life is a jarring challenge. What's more, no conversation with Jesus is just a conversation.Open yourself to the wonder of Jesus' words to Nicodemus. It's good practice for experiencing the wonder and power of the events in Jesus' life that we will remember this week on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Resurrection Sunday— when the rebirth of creation itself was launched. Dear God, make us open to your surprises that we find in the Bible and that we will encounter this week. In Christ we pray. Amen.

Prayer doesn't have to be polite or perfect it can be truth-telling– anger, doubt, gratitude, grief, longing– and honest prayer weaves us more deeply into community and even action. If God can handle the universe, maybe God can handle your real feelings.
One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. — Psalm 145:4 In this month's devotions we have been looking back on what the Lord—the faithful God—has done. We are also approaching Holy Week, when we remember the finished work of Jesus Christ. He died to save us from sin and to give us new life with God forever. Psalm 145 can help us gain perspective in all this.As I write these devotions, the seminary I serve has been preparing to mark its 150th anniversary of training Christian pastors and teachers. Throughout those years this school has held to the vision and mission of proclaiming the lordship of Christ over all creation. While working on plans for this celebration, I have looked through lots of old pictures. In many old photos are the faces of people who had no idea what God would do through them so many years ago, but they had hopes. They hoped that the God who had carried them so far would continue to carry the next generation, and so on. I am a witness to God's faithfulness through the generations, and, like those who served before me, I am called to commend God's works to the generations that follow. (The anniversary service will be livestreamed tomorrow, on Palm Sunday evening, and we will recall the Lord's works and commend them to the next generation.)What pictures of faith do you carry with you? Remember. Tell. Give praise to our faithful God! Dear God, may we join the chorus of praise from one generation to the next. You are indeed faithful to all your promises and loving toward all you have made. Amen.
Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced. . . . He is the LORD our God. . . . — Psalm 105:5-7 We are people who forget. We need reminders, and we need to know that remembering can help us face the future.Psalm 105 recites much of the Bible history we have covered so far this month. This psalm is designed to help God's people recount the past so that they will remember all that God has done for them.Psalm 105 begins and ends with a call to praise. What is recounted is not just history but an opportunity to thank the living and faithful God for all he has done. God is always to be praised.Tied to this is an opportunity to make the name of the Lord known among the nations (verse 1). This recalls the initial call and promise to Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3).How can we make the name of God known among the nations? The closing of this psalm calls us to “keep his precepts and observe his laws.” We make God's name known by living in line with God's ways and forsaking our own selfish ways. When we remember the stories of the faithful God and his wayward people, we are encouraged and challenged that the Lord always keeps his promises and will continue to do so for us.That is who the Lord is! Dear God, thank you for your faithful care for all the generations of your people. Help us to remember all you have done so that we may live by faith before you and make you known to the nations. In Jesus, Amen.
My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from . . . my cries of anguish? — Psalm 22:1 Let's be honest. Life can be hard. There are times when the only sounds we can make are silent cries and laments. And we may wonder, “Where is the faithful God who has promised to be with us?”The Bible includes lots of texts that reflect the range of human experiences and emotions. At times we need to cry out to God. Sometimes we need to pour out our hearts and ask God, “What is going on?” and, “Where are you?”Psalm 22 is a psalm of lament written by Israel's King David when he was distressed and alone. In this situation it seemed that God had abandoned him. This psalm also points directly to Jesus and his experience. It opens with a key question— the same question Jesus asked on the cross (see Matthew 27:46; Mark 15:34). When we read of Jesus being mocked and afflicted, stripped of his clothes and attacked from every side, we know that the God who inspired David as a psalmist certainly had Jesus' suffering in mind as well.We also find that Jesus is the answer to all our wondering about pain and sorrow. He took on the pain and sorrow of the world so that he could bring us what we cannot gain for ourselves: full life forever with the God who is faithful. Dear God, thank you for inviting us to cry out to you as children cry for their parents in times of trouble. In the pictures we see in this psalm, may we find encouragement that you are with us as you have promised— in Jesus. Amen.

The new Pretty Reckless album, called Dear God, drops on June 26th. She and the band played with AC/DC last April, but before that, it hadn't been since the fateful night of the last Soundgarden show. She discussed opening those major shows worldwide. As we talked, she was in Chile. For I Am Death was released a bit ago, with the latest single called When I Wake Up. As with much of their catalog, it has a real throwback, classic vibe to it. She talks about that song, the album artwork, and a post about her last "confessional", which I, like an idiot, didn't pick up on. Taylor's awesome...her band is awesome...I cannot wait to drop the new album on the turntable!Speaking of turntables, I listened to Rush's 2112 to prepare to speak with author Daniel Bukszpan. His new book is entitled RUSH & 2112: 50 Years. Yes, I could talk Rush all day. Daniel discusses the approach he took when writing a book about one of the most defining Rush albums. He spoke with producers and others to get a feel of what it was like making the iconic album. An album that was a major turning point for the band. Do you find it easy to affirm God's big-picture rule but struggle to believe He will provide in the particulars? Or maybe you see His provision again and again but wrestle to trust His choices when they don't look good or kind? In this conversation, we unpack the difference between God's sovereignty and God's provision, not as abstract theology but as lived experience: delayed marriage and the sting of comparison, illness that forces a reckoning with God's goodness, and the quiet ways care arrives off-schedule yet on time. We uncover how family systems write our earliest scripts about the characteristics of God, how envy takes root when timelines stretch, and why control feels safer than surrender when life doesn't go to plan.If you've ever wanted to “speak to management” about timing, fairness, or unanswered prayer, this conversation offers language, perspective, and gentler rhythms of trust. Subscribe, share with a friend, and leave a review telling us where you find trust hardest—sovereignty or provision—and why.
Feeling forgotten by God can happen during seasons of unanswered prayer, depression, or overwhelming hardship. This Christian devotional rooted in Isaiah 49:15 reminds us that even when life feels heavy, God’s love never disappears. Vivian Bricker reflects on how painful seasons can create the illusion that God has forgotten us, when in truth He remains present and faithful. Scripture assures us that God’s care is even stronger than a mother’s love for her child. While life in a broken world includes suffering, spiritual battles, and emotional struggles, God walks with us through every moment. His promises remain steady, and His love never leaves us—even when we struggle to feel it. Highlights Difficult seasons can make it feel like God has forgotten us, but His Word promises otherwise. God’s love is stronger and more constant than any human relationship. Unanswered prayers do not mean God is absent or indifferent. Life in a fallen world includes hardship, but God’s presence remains with us through it all. Scripture reminds us we are deeply loved and never forgotten by our Heavenly Father. God’s mercies are renewed every morning, offering fresh hope each day. This episode is sponsored by Trinity Debt Management. If you are struggling with debt call Trinity today. Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” (Isaiah 49:15). When dreadful things happen, it is hard not to wonder if God has forgotten about us. A few years ago, I was going through a particularly hard patch in life, and I was feeling as though God had forgotten about me. Unanswered prayers and depression were getting the best of me. I did not want to leave my house, stopped seeing friends, and isolated myself from the rest of the world. I did not want to be a part of the world anymore because I was only seeing terrible things happening. Therefore, I thought the best solution was to hide away and drown out all the hurt by keeping busy at work. During this time, I felt so far away from God. I reasoned that if God had remembered me, I wouldn’t be going through such challenging times. The hard truth is that God doesn’t promise us bright and sunny days. Instead, He promises us something even better—eternal life with Him. This life will become overwhelming, stressful, and painful at times, but we have all of eternity to look forward to with the Lord. Just as God didn’t forget about me, neither has He forgotten about you. You might feel like He has forgotten about you, but I want you to challenge those thoughts. Why do you feel God has forgotten about you? Is it because a prayer wasn’t answered the way you wanted? Or is it because you are going through a challenging time? Like you, I was under the impression that God would keep me safe from all things. Mental health struggles, physical health problems, and spiritual attacks—I thought I would never have to worry about these things again. However, facing mental health struggles, physical health problems, and spiritual attacks are all part of living in this fallen world. God does not cause these things, but He can give us support, encouragement, and hope as we walk through these challenging times. He will not take us out of these troubles, but He will be with us every step of the way (Psalm 23:1-6). Intersecting Faith & Life: Isaiah 49:15 tells us, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!” Mothers love their children beyond words; however, God loves us even more. There may be times when our own mother forgets about us, but God never does. This is because we are forever written on the palm of His hand, and we are kept safe by His love. There is not a day that goes by that God does not think about us. He will always remember us and love us. We are His beloved children (1 John 3:1). God’s love for us is always present, even if we cannot see it with our own two eyes (Romans 8:37-39). Allow these truths to bring your heart comfort, hope, and solace today. Open your heart to God and accept His compassion. Although you may have gone through many troubling times, He is still with you. His mercies are new every morning; great is His faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22-23)! Pray with me: Dear God, I often wonder if You have forgotten about me due to the tough situations in my life. However, now I know that You will never forget me. Thank You for always remembering me, loving me, and caring about me. Keep these promises close to my heart and surround me with your love. Help me walk in the confidence that You are always with me. In Your Son’s Name, I pray, Amen. Have you ever felt God has forgotten about you? What helped you to remember that God loves you and that He will never forget about you?
