JD Vance, Jacob Wenske, Tickle v. Giggle, and Michigan SNAP fraud headline today's A.M. Update. Vance delivers a just war theory address at the Air Force Academy warning graduates that as AI takes over warfare, the moral weight of life and death decisions must stay with humans. A Texas man named Jacob Wenske is arrested on two felony counts for posting bomb threats and death threats against Erika Kirk ahead of the San Antonio TPUSA summit, and Aaron ties it directly to the Candice Owens crowd's slander campaign against her. Reports suggest the DOJ may be looking into E. Jean Carroll for alleged perjury over her claim of receiving no outside funding for her Trump lawsuits, though details remain unconfirmed. Australia's Full Federal Court doubles damages against women-only app Giggle for Girls for blocking a biological male who identified as transgender, Michigan refuses to share SNAP data with the feds despite a 9.53% self-reported fraud rate, and Aaron closes the week with the White House's Harambe tribute post.

We're both sniffing our way through this episode. We're not talking about the yayo, it's just allergies. Chris actually gives props to SNL. Can't blame that on the allergies though. we have a wall ball follow up, it's not an East Coast thing. We give Rob Base his props. Then we laugh at the Freedom 250 featured performers. Not at who's supposed to be there, but cause they're all dropping out. It's gonna be a hell of an event. Then we finally get to the sports and talk NBA playoffs and question are the Liberty good? I'm not sure we answer it.

Sometimes when people hear or see something that's strange or outright bizarre, they might reply by saying, "What in the world?" That's the theme of this series of Crosstalk broadcasts as Jim looks at some of the strange and unbelievable stories making the news. The fact that such stories are becoming more and more prevalent goes along with the warning from the Bible that in the last days, perilous times will come (2 Timothy 3:1). Here are the stories Jim presented during the first quarter hour of the broadcast: California has seized a Christian woman's teenage daughter because she opposed her daughter's so-called gender transition. A federal court in Australia has defied the science that men, male down to their DNA, cannot become women by ordering damages paid to a man who was denied participation in the women-only networking app, Giggle for Girls. Amid a glut of anti-LGBTQ+ laws passed by the state legislature over the past half decade, many queer Texans have decided to pack up and move to greener and more supportive pastures by moving to Seattle. Now the city is considering declaring a civil emergency due to the number of LGBTQ+ "refugees" moving there from red states. An elementary school in Winnipeg has decided to do away with Mother's Day and Father's Day presents in favor of family gifts. Two Virginia police officers are facing suspension and possible termination for objecting to a gender confused male recruit being allowed to use women's lockers. A campaign event for homosexual California State Senator Scott Wiener, now running for U.S. Congress, featured a drag queen grossly dressed as half pig/half woman.

Send us Fan MailAustralia's gender identity debate is no longer theoretical. The Giggle v Tickle case has exposed how difficult it is for women to maintain female-only spaces under current Australian law.In this episode, I look at how we got here, from the 2013 changes to the Sex Discrimination Act, to shifting medical language around gender dysphoria and gender incongruence, to the growing international backlash against unquestioned “gender-affirming care.”We also discuss the Cass Review in the UK, the new detransition clinic in Texas, the stories of detransitioners becoming harder to ignore, and why the evidence around desistance, suicide and medical transition is far more complicated than the slogans suggest. This is not about cruelty. It is about truth, compassion, women's spaces, children's safety, and why Australians need to speak clearly while there is still time.Previous episodes mentioned:The (Trans) Gender Revolution: A Biblical, Biological and Compassionate Response with Patricia Warekoonhttps://www.hertheology.com/podcast/episode/7c602684/the-trans-gender-revolution-a-biblical-biological-and-compassionate-response-with-patricia-warekoonThe Truth About Gender Ideology in Australia = Kirralie Smithhttps://www.hertheology.com/podcast/episode/7cde9647/the-truth-about-gender-ideology-in-australia-ft-kirralie-smithWhat does the Bible say about Gender Identity with Rob Smithhttps://www.hertheology.com/podcast/episode/7b8a6efe/what-does-the-bible-say-about-gender-identity-with-rob-smithResponding To The Transgender Argument with Rob Smithhttps://www.hertheology.com/podcast/episode/79e99368/responding-to-the-transgender-argument-with-rob-smithFollow @hertheology on Instagram & YouTube. Sall Grover returns for one of the most controversial and important conversations happening in Australia right now. After losing the landmark Giggle v Tickle case, Sall breaks down why she's taking the fight all the way to the High Court and what it means for free speech, women's spaces, gender identity, and the future of the Sex Discrimination Act.We dive deep into the question many people feel scared to even ask publicly anymore: what is a woman? We also unpack censorship, institutional pressure, compelled language, and why so many Australians feel governments and major institutions are no longer listening to everyday citizens. This episode isn't about hate — it's about open conversation, truth, biology, law, and the slippery slope of losing the ability to speak plainly about reality itself.PATREON Support The Hard Yarns and get access to exclusive drops, content, live shows and promo codes : www.patreon.com/thehardyarnspodcast FIND US Email: info@thehardyarns.com Instagram: @thehardyarnspodcast YouTube: https://youtube.com/@thehardyarnspodcastTikTok: @thehardyarnspodcast Web: https://www.thehardyarns.com SPONSORS The Smart Business Lounge - https://www.thesmartbusinesslounge.com.auAll Trades Cover - https://www.alltradescover.com.au Crafted Finance - https://www.craftedfinance.com.auHard Yarns is Produced by B32media #hardyarns #podcast #comedy.

What if the most important decision you ever make isn't about your career, your goals, or your next move — but about who you let close enough to speak into your life? EPISODE OVERVIEW In this episode, BRI and PAC dig into the Dream Team chapter from PAC's book Magnum Opus: The Art of Becoming One of One — a deeply practical, architectural look at the five people every person needs in their corner to actually become who they're meant to be. This isn't a conversation about having friends. It's a conversation about building a board. And the difference between those two things might be exactly what's been missing. KEY THEMES EXPLORED Why hyper-individualism is a lie we've been sold — the best leaders are built in community, not in isolation Proximity breeds intimacy: why online mentors and thought leaders can't replace people who actually know you The five Dream Team archetypes: The Encourager, The Truth Teller, The Covenant Friend, The Specialist, and The Wise Sage What it really means to have a Covenant Friend — someone who doesn't love your potential, they love your person The difference between knowledge and wisdom — and why you need a Wise Sage who gives generously without needing credit Why you can predict someone's future by who has access into their life — and what that means for the relationships you're maintaining right now Dating apps, courage, and what in-person vulnerability has to do with the kind of person you're becoming WHY IT MATTERS You can't become one of one in isolation. Every masterpiece is shaped by the hands that had access to it. The people you let into your life aren't just your support system — they are actively shaping your ceiling. This episode gives you the language and the framework to audit your circle, fill the gaps, and start showing up as the kind of person worth having on someone else's Dream Team. CLOSING INVITATION Your Dream Team isn't just a list — it's a mirror. Adrian and Bri don't just describe these archetypes. They name them, challenge you, and make you feel every gap. If this episode made you think about someone specific — reach out to them this week. That's the whole point. New episodes of the New Rules Podcast drop every Wednesday. Don't miss one. We just watched the original Sisu from 2022 and our minds are completely blown by this absolute rollercoaster of a film! Basil and Keo are here for a new Flix and Giggles review to break down this masterpiece that essentially drops a ruthless protagonist right into the middle of World War II. We talk about the insane cinematography, the incredible performance by Jorma Tommila as the unstoppable gold miner Aatami Korpi, and the sheer creativity of the incredibly brutal fight scenes. The man simply refuses to die, and the practical effects alongside his pure determination had us cheering at the screen the entire time. This film perfectly sets up a gritty, unforgiving world, and it is easily one of the most wild and satisfying movies we have covered on the channel, leaving us absolutely hyped and counting down the days until we can watch the sequel.
What does it take to go from getting fired at 27 to building a 6-figure side hustle? If you ask Colin Macintosh, the answer might surprise you. It's not the flashiest strategy or the biggest budget. It's something a lot of businesses have stopped doing altogether, genuinely caring about the people they serve. Colin is a CTO recruiter by day and side hustle entrepreneur by night. He got fired at 27, and somewhere between the pink slip, the margaritas, and a movie he'd watched, an idea was born. That idea became Sheets and Giggles, a eucalyptus bedsheets brand he built, scaled, and exited. But this episode is really about what came next. Dirt Cheap Compost is exactly the kind of side hustle I love most; simple, low cost, profitable, and scalable. No complicated tech stack, no outside funding. Just a real problem, a real market, and a flyer tucked inside a Halloween pumpkin. Sheets Resume is a different kind of story. An AI-powered resume builder doing thirty thousand resumes a month that sounds like an overnight success, until you find out about the years old Reddit post driving all that traffic. In this conversation Colin and I cover: The lessons from Sheets and Giggles that shaped everything that came after Why raising venture capital was a treadmill he'll never step on again How a $40K compost business was built with flyers and a seasonal pumpkin campaign How a Reddit post written in 2018 became the foundation of a 6-figure side hustle The customer experience rule that turns buyers into your most powerful sales people Colin genuinely gives a damn; about his customers, about the problems he's solving, and about the people he builds with. And as you'll hear today, that's not just good character ... it's good business. Do you like what you're hearing? Consider giving it a caffeinated thumbs up. We'd really appreciate it! We just finished Humint on Netflix, and while we've talked about the length before, we have to give credit where it's due: this story is awesome. In this Flix and Giggles breakdown, Basil and Keo explore the "really dark" heart of this espionage thriller. We're discussing how the film prioritizes psychological stakes over physical ones, and why the narrative was strong enough to keep us hooked for the full two hours, even if we still think a 90-minute cut would have been lethal. From the interesting world-building to the bleakness of the final act, we're explaining why Humint is a must watch for fans of gritty storytelling.
Well let's just say that if you love to LAUGH, you've come to the right place, because this week our truly delightful guest Mitra Jouhari gives us a case of the GIGGLES! And yeah... it's TERMINAL. Join us for our last hours of life as we explore such sick and disgusting questions as: When will Women's History Month end? Should someone perform alt comedy at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show? Can a baby be anti-intellectual? And finally, what words are IN and what words are OUT for 2021? Listen to Elephunk in its entirety and THEN press play to find out. Due to a technical error, we're releasing an old Patreon episode that was never released during our 10th year of the podcast where we released (nearly) all of the paywall material. I knew I held onto this one for a reason. On the latest episode of the podcast, Jamie mentions that Doug's just a 'Little Girl From Nebraska', Doug has a real problem keeping Fay Dunaway and Lauren Hutton straight...and this movie's not helping, and we both have a real problem believing that anyone would say that a 1986 Robin Givens looks terrible. Grab a glass and pull up a chair! Stephanie Miller dissects the volatile U.S.-Iran relationship—a saga currently featuring audacious ship seizures and a Commander-in-Chief whose military strategy feels more like a game of Battleship played by a toddler. She's looking at the absurdity of the "stable genius" approach to Middle East diplomacy and why the Iranian Navy is suddenly feeling so bold. We just finished Crime 101 on Amazon Prime, and we're walking away with a not bad verdict, which, in 2026, is a high compliment for a streaming thriller! In this Flix and Giggles breakdown, Basil and Keo discuss the incredible ensemble cast, including a restrained Chris Hemsworth as jewel thief Mike Davis and a brilliantly messy Mark Ruffalo as Detective Lou Lubesnick. From Barry Keoghan's pure chaos energy to Halle Berry's magnetic role as the insurance broker caught in the middle, we're explaining why this is the perfect Friday night movie that prioritizes character over digital explosions.
Is there a podcaster in the house? This week, we find out. Dustin continues to kill his darlings with a deep cut from 1992, Dr. Giggles. We get our kill count prescriptions filled this week as we take a look at this goofy Universal B-movie. We discuss medical horror, meta forerunners, Studio risks, and much, much more as we page Dr. Giggles to the AR—analysis room! Check in now and join us for our conversation!
Isabel and Amanda talk about raising $1,234,567 dollars for your startup, Giggles, that began as a meme, and also finding your cofounder in Minecraft, along with the latest analysis of which human person Satoshi might actually turn out to be, and also, turning down $175,000 dollars because you can't figure out the wifi, something that happened to a real human person last week. It's ok, though. Since recording, Helen Dewitt has found a new source of capital, and she doesn't even need to do any promo for it—not a bit, this is genuinely what happened. This week on Chins and Giggles, April said “no days off” and we're just trying to survive it. Between Easter chaos, spring break trips, and a birthday every other day… why is everyone suddenly booked and busy?? But the real tea… we asked you guys for your juiciest family secrets and WOW- y'all did NOT hold back. From messy aunties to double lives to “wait… that's actually your cousin???”- we're reading it all and giving our very unqualified opinions. It's giving family drama, spring energy, and secrets that probably should've stayed in the group chat… but didn't. This week on Chins and Giggles, we're entering our “we're getting our lives together… kinda” era. Mayra is deep in her Backyard Reno era (send help + Pinterest boards), while April birthdays have us feeling reflective, emotional, and ready to romanticize everything. We're declaring press-on nails ELITE (cute, fast, and saving coins), manifesting a full Raven Simon reunion like it's our civic duty, and debating which questionable fashion trends we're bringing back (yes… some should've stayed in 2008). And of course, Hot Girl Summer is approaching, so we're “locking in”… but like, gently. Balance is key. Tune in! This week on Chins and Giggles, we're getting ready on the pod and chatting about all things home glow-up. From curb appeal to decorating the outside of your house, we're sharing the little touches that make your home feel extra cute- plus why we're currently obsessed with our DIY custom closets (seriously… life changing). Then the convo takes a real turn as we talk about mean comments, insecurities, and what it's actually like living your life online. Is it constructive criticism… or are people just being plain mean? We're unpacking it all and reminding everyone to be the person who uplifts, not the one spreading hate and negativity. A little glam, a little therapy session, and a lot of giggles- just how we like it. This Episode is Sponsored by: Stella Rosa- Grab your bottle at stellarosa.com, must be 21yrs + to purchase.
