The open (or as some call it, the closed) is the premiere medium pitch NCT. Over the years it has undergone dozens of modifications, reboots, and remixes. Over the last three(ish) years, the format has been moderately static, but between weather issues and the desire to "award" as many games as possible to all teams, there are a number of...we'll call them useless games that end up being played. I claim to have solved those issues with a three-bracket system that incentivizes regular season standing, while punishing teams that lose and rewarding teams that win. Want to make the top 20? win three games. Want to make the elite 11? Win four games. But don't go 0-4, otherwise your night might be DONETCH. To help make sense of this episode, I've included a link to a dropbox that contains the files that are discussed in this episode. That link can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/zhqsdw3ofivt72xs31926/h?rlkey=t2ilm9td2ge9ev4u36yg6m0uz&dl=0
