Have you ever been through a storm in your life that felt never-ending, like one bad thing after another? Sometimes, when you go through seasons of hardship, you can only see what's right in front of you, and it can cloud your perspective. But in today's message, Pastor Richard encourages you to have faith in Jesus Christ - to trust that He is by your side through the storm, and allow Him to guide you through it.

Often in life, when we go through hard times, we're left wondering why we experienced such pain, and it can lead us to ask, “Why did God allow this?” But today, Pastor Richard urges us to trust God's perspective. What we may see as suffering, He can use as a time of growth and shaping in our lives. When God allows us to go through storms, it is not to harm us, but to form us into who He is calling us to be, and that happens as we trust Him through it.

Sometimes in life, we have to decide what is worth holding on to and what is worth letting go. For many, they chase after possessions, fame, and status, even at the cost of their soul. But in today's message, Pastor Richard wants you to know that Jesus has already paid the price for your sin. He died for you and rose again three days later. Will you accept His gift of grace, or continue trying to carry the weight yourself?

As you go through this life, you'll make many decisions… what direction in life to take, what career to pursue, and more. But the most important decision you will ever make is this: “Who is Jesus Christ to me?” Is He just a historical figure with good teachings, or is He the Son of God who came to this earth to die for your sins and conquer the grave? Today, Pastor Richard invites you to invite Jesus into your life and discover the truth for yourself.

Isn't it amazing how when God steps in during tough times, our hearts just swell with joy? So, how often do you find yourself wanting to share that joy with those around you? How often do you share the amazing things Jesus has done in your life with your neighbours? Today, Pastor Richard is inviting you to spread the good news of the gospel to everyone in your circle. Why not let them embrace that joy and feel it for themselves?

When you ponder the idea of Jesus in the world, it's natural to imagine that He must have had an abundance of possessions during His time on earth, don't you think? Surprisingly, it was the complete opposite! He came into the world as part of a humble family with little to no riches to his name. Today, Pastor Richard shares a beautiful reminder that Jesus entered the world with humility, serving everyone around Him with love and compassion!

As we walk through this life, we can sometimes see things the wrong way. We read God's promises in His Word, and yet we can begin to think we are entitled to His blessings simply because we are His children. But in today's message, Pastor Richard reminds us that what we receive is not something we earn or deserve. It is given by God's grace. His promises are ours, not because of what we have done, but because of who He is.

When we go through seasons of hardship, we can develop tunnel vision. For many of us, we focus on the bad things in front of us, and we forget that there is someone there who promises to be by our side - someone who promises to guide us through it, and His name is Jesus. That's why in today's message, Pastor Richard reminds you that Jesus reveals Himself at the perfect time, and that no matter what you go through, He is always with you.

When we look at the life of Jesus, how can we say that God doesn't love us? He sent His one and only Son to pay the price for our sin, all because of His love. Jesus conquered the grave, and today He offers us His grace. That's why Pastor Richard encourages you to give your life to Christ, receive Him, and trust in what He has done for you. Jesus died on the cross for all who would believe in Him. Will you reach out to Him and accept it?

When we go through seasons of hardship, how many of us are willing to still serve others? Jesus showed us this during His time on earth. Despite the weight He carried, Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. Even in His hardest moments, He never lost sight of His mission. That's why in today's message, Pastor Richard encourages us to have the same heart as Christ, loving and serving others even in difficult seasons, just as He has loved us.

The Pharisees mocked Jesus for healing a sick man on the Sabbath day. They had no idea that Jesus was, in fact, the very essence of the Sabbath. There are moments when it feels like sticking to the laws in God's Word is all that counts. But is that really the case? Today, Pastor Richard shares an insightful message about how Jesus embodies the Law Himself. He's gone above and beyond, following every law in the Bible just to save you!

Despite all the incredible wonders God showed through Moses, Pharaoh remained stubborn, choosing disbelief and hardening his heart. Some people in our generation really remind me of Pharaoh. Some folks just decide to turn a blind eye to Jesus, even when all the evidence points to Him being the Saviour. Hey, are you one of those people? Today, Pastor Richard invites you to open your heart to Jesus. Don't be so stubborn like Pharaoh.

Walking in God's path doesn't always mean that you get to live a comfortable life. It's more like going to war with the enemy. You never know when he will strike. Sometimes God even allows certain difficulties in your life, not to harm you, but to help you grow in your faith. Today, Pastor Richard motivates you to faithfully walk with God. His plan for you is the best. Even if difficulties come into your life, God will help you find a way through them!

When someone decides to enlist in the army, they're fully aware that the role carries its own set of challenges. It seems almost limitless the number of times we can get mad in a day. From little annoyances and complaints to larger frustrations and arguments, odds are we ALWAYS believe we are in the right. AND that our anger is justified. In fact, we must be doing everyone a favor by pointing out the wrongs in this world! But Pastor Richard tells you today that the wrath of man comes nowhere close to the righteousness of God and His holy wrath.

It's so easy to believe that nobody could possibly understand what each of us is going through. But OH, the relief we feel when others can relate and share their own experiences. In today's message, Pastor Richard tells you about the power of being able to reach out to others with similar struggles. God puts you through trials, not only to strengthen your faith, but also so that YOU can be the one to comfort others in their times of need.

Today, Pastor Richard encourages you to stay patient and keep your eyes peeled for opportunities to share the gospel! God will surely set up that perfect moment for you to share the good news!

It's interesting how often we find ourselves making judgments about others, focusing on their appearance, family history, or financial status. Have you ever stopped to think about how Jesus treated everyone with such love, regardless of who they were? It's pretty remarkable, isn't it? Today, Pastor Richard shares a heartfelt message, inviting you to be like Jesus by loving everyone without exception. Can you do that?

The Bible teaches that we cannot serve two masters, and if we try to follow after Jesus while following our own interests, we will fail at both. Now, maybe we aren't chasing after money, like the rich young ruler, but we might be pursuing fame, status, or comfort. Pastor Richard reminds us today that all of these things need to take a backseat in our lives if we want to fully run after Jesus. We need to put Jesus at the forefront of everything!

What does your prayer life look like when no one else is watching? Are you spending time in God's presence every day, or do you just come to Him every once in a while? Well, in today's message, Pastor Richard implores you to find the time to spend time in private with the Lord. It doesn't have to be some sort of long or elaborate prayer. God just wants your undivided attention, far away from the distractions that surround you.

Do you know someone who is a little flaky? Maybe it's hard to make plans with this person, or you just can't count on them to do something they said they were going to do. Well, it may not seem like a life-or-death character flaw, but Pastor Richard teaches you today that this kind of behavior is a poor reflection of the Gospel! If you are truly following Jesus, you should be a person of your word. Let your yes be yes, and your no be no.

Which would we rather have? Going through trials and tribulations or going through life easy breezy? We're gonna wanna pick joy over suffering every single time. But our faith is more important than our comfort. In today's message, Pastor Richard tells you about finding joy through suffering. Overcoming obstacles may not be easy, but your faith will strengthen, and you will learn to lean on God rather than on yourself.

What will it take for you to make a decision to follow Jesus? Pastor Richard is here to remind you that the Gospel isn't something you should just put on the shelf and say, “I'll get to it later”. Instead, you should make the decision today to follow Jesus! Nothing in this life is guaranteed, and you may have fewer opportunities to say “Yes” to the Lord than you think you do! Don't play games when it comes to your eternal soul.

Living up to the law of Moses without making a single mistake is like a basketball player scoring on every single shot they take… over the course of their entire life. But the truth is that you won't make every single shot you attempt! The Bible teaches that even a single slip-up makes you unworthy of God's presence. But Pastor Richard wants you to remember today that when you are in Christ, His righteousness and perfection is passed down to you.

We never know when we will run into a situation where we can share the Gospel with someone! But in order for us to recognize those situations, we have to open our hearts to what the Holy Spirit is speaking to us. In today's message, Pastor Richard encourages us to push through the awkwardness of sharing the Good News with a stranger. Someone shared the Good News with us, so we should be willing to share it with others.

No one comes to Jesus without having someone guide them along the way. Even the apostle Paul, who encountered Jesus on his way to Damascus, still needed help from a fellow believer in order to become fully adopted into God's family. Pastor Richard reminds you today that you may be someone's best chance at encountering the Good News of Jesus' death and resurrection. Is your life a good reflection of the love of Christ within you?

You may go through your entire life without facing very much persecution for your faith. For some people, the most persecution they will face may just be a rude stare from a nearby table when they pray over their dinner at a restaurant. But no matter the nature of the persecution, Pastor Richard wants you to count it as a blessing, because Jesus teaches that those who suffer for the sake of righteousness will be blessed.

When you're new to Christ, not everyone in your life will celebrate the change. In those moments, it's natural to look for new people to walk alongside you, as you grow in your faith. But sometimes you might choose companions simply because they're available, not because they'll hold you accountable to God's Word. That's why today, Pastor Richard urges you to pray for godly friendships and trust that God will bring the right people into your life.

When you go to a busy emergency room, the doctors may not necessarily see you in the order you arrive. If someone comes in with a serious injury, they just might get moved to the front of the line. Pastor Richard wants you to understand today that Jesus came to this world to serve those who are poor in spirit. Until you realize that you are a sinner in need of a savior, you will stay at the back of the line, and you won't encounter Jesus!

The only thing that can hold Jesus back from working in your heart and transforming your life is you. It's your decision - whether to trust in Him for salvation and follow in the light of His Word. As Pastor Richard will encourage you in today's message, the Kingdom of God is near to your heart when you are aware of your own weakness and need for a Savior. He is coming again, and those who have believed will be called up to be with Him.

All of us long for justice. Some have a stronger draw for the world to be right than others, as sin dulls this God-given desire, but even in the cruelest heart, you often can find some remnant of this longing. As Pastor Richard will point out in today's message, we find hope for this justice in Jesus. But we have to be patient. While we can be instruments of His peace and justice in this world, it will not be perfected till He makes all things new.

The marriage relationship is the most important human relationship most of us will ever have. You become one with that person. You're connected spiritually, emotionally, and physically in a way that neither death nor divorce can fully separate. This connection is wonderful, but as Pastor Richard will warn in today's message, if you marry someone who doesn't share your faith, it creates a major challenge to your spiritual compatibility.

God's Word should always be at the center of what we do as the Church. If the focus is on a particular pastor's interpretation, a certain worship leader's talent, a specific stance on an issue, or a denominational creed, we're missing the point. As Pastor Richard will point out in today's message, this is a pastor's primary job – not to be engaging, charismatic, or magnetic, but to present the Word of God clearly, with integrity.

As we move through this world, there are times when we place our spiritual lives on the back burner. When that happens, our vision grows cloudy, and we begin to desire the wrong things instead of deepening our relationship with Jesus. That's why today, Pastor Richard encourages you to make Jesus Christ your number one priority in life. When Christ is first, everything else falls into its proper place. So, make Jesus the center of your life today.

God loves you, and there's nothing you need to do to earn, keep, maintain, or justify that love. You don't have to follow any rules or regulations or perform any rituals. As Pastor Richard will clarify in today's message, the only way to be saved is through Jesus. When you trust in Him, believing that He's your Savior and Lord, you are saved. That's all there is to it. It will change your life, but only in response to the salvation you're given.

The verse that Pastor Richard is referencing today, where Jesus says that those who love Him must “hate” their families, has been a source of confusion and abuse at times, by those who misunderstand the heart of what Jesus was saying. Elsewhere in Scripture, it's clear that hating anyone is the same as murdering them. We are to love others as Christ has loved us – but Jesus is our first love, and following Him should be our top priority.

Have you come to that place? As Pastor Richard continues our study in the Minor Prophets today, we'll once again have our attention drawn toward Jesus. Hundreds of years before He would walk the earth in the flesh, these words of prophecy foretold the conditions of His arrival, as well as His second coming. When you submit your heart to Him in repentance and faith, you can find hope for what's to come in this broken world.
