My Loyal Listeners, if at all possible, avoid calling the cops for help. This week we will look at just a handful of people who dialed 911 seeking assistance and ended up shot or tasered to death. Also, running away from police has become a coomon excuse for a curbside execution without due process. Police have boldly promoted themselves to Instant Judge, Jury, and Executioners. There were more police-involved shootings this week. A young teen was critically wounded by St. Louis police. Police say he had a gun. His name hasn't yet been released, but locals have confirmed that he is 14 yr old Tyrone Edwards. At least four men have been killed in Southern Californina in the last five days. There were two curbside executions over the weekend in Los Angeles. 18 yr old Carnell Snell Jr. ("CJ") was gunned down after running from police after a car chase. Another man was killed by police on Sunday and they have yet to release his name or any other information. Reginald Thomas was tasered and beaten to death after calling Pasedena cops for help while having a bipolar episode. Alfred Olango, of El Cajon, CA was having a seizure when his sister called police for help. When the police arrived, Olango pleaded, “don't shoot me.” Many people have called the police for help and have been shot to death by the police instead. We will look at some of those cases. In California, Gov. Brown has restored voting rights to felons in county jails. The Massachusetts supreme court declared that running from the police is reasonable thinking and may be the best thing for black men to do when approached by the cops. And the legendary story of a white man who shot two cops (one has died) and was aprehended without a scratch. All this and more. Tues, October 4, 6pm Pacific.
