How can you use every moment as an opportunity to learn? What passion projects have you been working on during quarantine? In this episode, sales consultant, HAAS school graduate, avid cyclist, and aspiring chef Bill Conry shares his journey starting InTheKitchenWithBill.com, a compilation of simple, inexpensive recipes, comedy, food photos, and musings about life in quarantine. Bill was born in Philadelphia, PA, the middle of three boys. He went off to college at the University of Michigan where he studied Economics. Upon graduating Bill moved to Chicago to start his career in sales at a professional services firm - and also to extend the fun he had in college : ) After four years of working Bill was getting antsy in his role and had an opportunity to cycle across Europe - Turkey to Portugal - to raise money for a charity, so he jumped at it. It wound up being one of the most educational and powerful events of his life. He was hired back at the same company when he returned to work in a different role. After 8 years in Chicago Bill relocated to San Francisco for a change of pace and to attend business school part time at BerkeleyHaas, and eventually started working for LinkedIn in Sales Readiness for LinkedIn Learning. In 2018 he had the opportunity to move to Dublin, Ireland with work, which he viewed as an opportunity both professionally (e.g. working in an international office) and personally (e.g. meeting people from other countries and traveling), so packed his bags! He's lived in Dublin for 1.5 years. Find Bill online at https://www.inthekitchenwithbill.com/ Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/shake-the-cosmos-empower-your-vision/donations

Softy and Dick Fain continues their broadcast live from Minneapolis just one day before the Final Four gets underway. The Mariners played a day game this afternoon and lose in frustrating fashion, finding themselves down early, coming back to take the lead, and then blowing it late in the game. This is pretty much what we can expect from this team this season; lots of offense, but subpar defense and an unreliable bullpen. Cory Gearrin looked particularly awful in the seventh inning, and Tim Beckham had three errors in one inning. Bill Walton joins the show from Radio Row, discussing all four Final Four teams, the Conference of Champions, the women's tournament, and more. Before the interview Softy asks how long of a gap there will be between the first and second questions he asks. The answer: about 8:30. The Voice of the Final Four Kevin Kugler talks all things college basketball from Minneapolis.
