In 2 Kings 3 Elisha is asked to rescue three kings who have gotten themselves into some trouble. Through Elisha, God gives instructions to dig ditches and wait. In this sermon we explore what happens after they are given those instructions. From this story we learn how we need to respond when God gives up instructions - even if they don't always make sense.

"Making room and preparation are acts of expectation." When you're expecting company, what do you do? When you're expecting a baby, what do you do? You prepare. You can tell if someone is truly expecting something by the way they prepare for it. On this episode Pastor Randy encourages us to "dig ditches" as described in 2 Kings 3. In this passage, digging ditches was the preparation needed for the miracle that God had promised. How many of us are missing out on the healing and freedom God has for us simply because we haven't prepared (dug ditches)? From Sunday 10/24/2021
