Willis Morgan - Frustrated Witness - Jeffrey Dahmer - Adam Walsh Case Parts 1 & 2Jul 19, 2023Two unforgettable names; one tragic case: how are Jeffrey Dahmer and Adam Walsh related? In Frustrated Witness, Willis Morgan details the mountain of evidence that points to America's most notorious serial killer as the real murderer of Adam Walsh, whose 1981 disappearance and subsequent murder inspired his father, John Walsh, to channel his rage into becoming the crime-fighting host of the popular TV show America's Most Wanted. In a Hollywood, Florida mall in 1981, the author encountered Dahmer near the time and place little Adam was abducted. This encounter sparked a theory that consumed well over three decades of the author's life. He has appeared as a witness both on television and in print. In 2010 he filed a lawsuit against the Hollywood Police Department, Florida State Attorney's Office, and one of the detectives involved in the Adam Walsh case. As much as it is a case for Dahmer as Adam's murderer, Frustrated Witness is a study of how the HPD conducted the homicide investigation, becoming the greatest ally and defender of the man who would go on to become infamous for the murders he committed. Packed with charts, diagrams, photos, and letters, this is the most extensive collection of records to date of the Adam Walsh case.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.
Author, Willis Morgan was in the Sears in Hollywood, FL on July 27, 1981, where he had a disturbing encounter with a strange and creepy man. He watched the man go into Sears, and to the toy department. Later that day, when the news reported that a young boy, Adam Walsh had been abducted, Willis knew it had to be that guy who did it. The police began their "investigation" and were intent to pin the murder on Ottis Toole, despite multiple people reporting they had seen a blue van. Toole had a white Cadillac. And, it was found out that Toole wasn't even in Florida on the date in question, despite Toole confessing to it. Then, Jeffrey Dahmer was arrested. And when his mugshot and photo went out, Morgan and other witnesses knew that it was Dahmer who had abducted Adam. Morgan went into detective mode, and put together a laundry list of evidence, even tracking down the location where the murder might have taken place. The HPD went into overdrive trying to get Morgan to go away. But in the end, Morgan put together enough evidence on Dahmer that if it went to trial, his evidence alone would have convicted Dahmer. Willis Morgan joins Bill and discusses his incredible book, Frustrated Witness: The Complete Story of the Adam Walsh Case. In part two, the final part of this series on Jeffrey Dahmer, we return back to July 27, 1981 in Hollywood Florida, where six-year-old Adam Walsh goes missing from a Sears store, and on that same day 34-year-old Willis Morgan was in the Radio Shack at the Hollywood, Florida Mall, when a disheveled man, reeking of alcohol approached him. The man was trying to talk to Morgan, perhaps flirtatiously."I didn't respond to his overtures," says Morgan, but despite that "he just wouldn't leave." Morgan recalls this man as being "so desperate, so lonely for someone to talk to." He was a "goofy guy that was lonely, that was looking for someone to talk to." The man, says Morgan was "unkempt and dirty" and had a "dead look in his eyes." "He was lonely, he just wanted anybody," says Morgan. After the man dejectedly stomped away, Morgan says he was "keeping an eye on him" and recalls seeing the man enter the Sears department store. On that day, several other shoppers encountered or spotted this man as well, who they claim to be the Milwaukee Cannibal, Jeffery Dahmer. Was it possible Dahmer actually murdered 6 year old Adam Walsh?***FOLLOW US on SOCIAL MEDIA***Join the "Elbow Deep Club" on Patreon for just $5/Month to get more exclusive content from Even the Podcast is Afraid, like our exclusive after show "After the Podcast is Afraid" and our video only podcast show "Monthly Sacrifice" & more.Visit our website eventhepodcastisafraid.com to check out our merch, listen to more episodes, see our sponsors, and dive through our detailed archive of all the shows we have released to date & more.Keep up with what we are doing by following us on social media, you can find us on Twitter @PodcastAfraid or on Instagram @PodcastAfraid You can also follow the hosts on Twitter, @jared_ordis, @thenickster15, & @spookysam8 + you can follow Jared & Nick on Instagram, @jared.ordis and @porchetta_sandwichEven the Podcast is Afraid is part of the Crawlspace Media Network, be sure to checkout their website to see all the shows offered on the CSM network.***SPONSORS & MORE MENTIONED in this EPISODE***Even the Podcast is Afraid Merch Store Holiday Discount, use code DEEP10 in our merch store to get 10% OFF your purchase, CLICK HERE , or visit our website at eventhepodcastisafraid.com & click Merch at the top of the website. In part one of this series on Jeffrey Dahmer, instead of doing a complete rehash of all his individual murders and all the grotesque details, the trial so on, since everyone knows who Jeffery Dahmer is, and his case has been covered by tons of true crime podcasts, documentaries, and tv shows, this stories has been told time and time again. So instead we wanted to discuss more of the mysteries that still surround this highly talked about serial killer. On July 27, 1981 in Hollywood Florida, a six-year-old boy went missing from a Sears store, and On July 22, 1991, almost 10 years to the day, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a 31-year-old man is arrested for the attempted murder of a young man. Soon it emerges that this attempted murder is on the lower end of the spectrum of evil as it is soon revealed that the 31-year-old man has murdered at least 17 people, and as time goes on and more details emerge, the depths of his depravity and unimaginable desires grow ever deeper. Dahmer appeared as an open book in his confessions and interrogations and even granted access to in-depth interviews to the media, but what about those 10 years and the many miles between those two locations? ***FOLLOW US on SOCIAL MEDIA***Join the "Elbow Deep Club" on Patreon for just $5/Month to get more exclusive content from Even the Podcast is Afraid, like our exclusive after show "After the Podcast is Afraid" and our video only podcast show "Monthly Sacrifice" & more.Visit our website eventhepodcastisafraid.com to check out our merch, listen to more episodes, see our sponsors, and dive through our detailed archive of all the shows we have released to date & more.Keep up with what we are doing by following us on social media, you can find us on Twitter @PodcastAfraid or on Instagram @PodcastAfraid You can also follow the hosts on Twitter, @jared_ordis, @thenickster15, & @spookysam8 + you can follow Jared & Nick on Instagram, @jared.ordis and @porchetta_sandwichEven the Podcast is Afraid is part of the Crawlspace Media Network, be sure to checkout their website to see all the shows offered on the CSM network.***SPONSORS & MORE MENTIONED in this EPISODE***SOUTHERN ODDITIES is an upcoming podcast from host Jared Ordis, which premieres on November 16th, 2020 on all your favorite podcast listening apps. Why? Two unforgettable names, Adam Walsh and Jeffrey Dahmer, one tragic case: The author's goal is justice for little Adam Walsh. A wall of evidence points to America's most notorious serial killer and pedophile Jeffrey Dahmer murdering and decapitating Adam. Accordingly, the author wants the Hollywood Police Department (HPD) to reopen the case and close it correctly. This will finally bring proper closure for the Walsh family, which includes Adam's father, John, who channeled his rage by becoming the crime-fighting host of the popular TV show America's Most Wanted. Who? The author describes how he encountered Dahmer at length near the time and place little Adam was abducted. This book has consumed well over three decades of the author's life, with at least one decade investigating and writing this book. He has appeared on many TV shows and in numerous print publications as a witness. In 2010 he filed a lawsuit against the HPD, State Attorney's Office, and one of the detectives involved in the Adam Walsh case. What? As much as this book is a case for Dahmer being Adam’s murderer, it is equally a study of how the HPD conducted the homicide investigation, becoming the greatest ally and defender of America’s most notorious serial killer. "I have a problem with facts that don’t fit, with witnesses not called or used, with bungled investigations, and with cover-ups after the fact," the author writes. The author presents many, many witnesses who know they saw Dahmer. Packed with charts, diagrams, photos, and letters, this is the most extensive collection of records to date of the Adam Walsh case. On July 27, 1981, six year old Adam Walsh was abducted from the Hollywood Mall in Hollywood, Florida and later found decapitated. The horror of the event would change America forever and bring about much needed changes to child protection and safety laws. Willis Morgan was at the Hollywood Mall on the same day. It was there he had an unnerving encounter with serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, known as the Milwaukee Cannibal, just before Adam went missing. However his witness statements about Dahmer were rejected by police and he watched in frustration as they investigated and convicted Ottis Toole, knowing they had the wrong man. "Frustrated Witness", details the various eyewitness accounts of the events of that fateful day in the mall and major flaws in the police investigation, in an attempt to right a wrong that continues to haunt him. "This is the account of Adam Walsh's abduction and my attempts stretching across decades to find justice for him," Morgan writes. "As much as this book is a case for Jeffrey Dahmer being Adam's murderer, it is equally a study of how the Hollywood Police Department (HPD) conducted the homicide investigation." Morgan has left no stone unturned in his quest for the truth and "Frustrated Witness" includes an incredible array of evidence he gathered, piece by painstaking piece, to prove Dahmer committed the murder of Adam Walsh. This includes statements of witnesses he tracked down, crime scenes he uncovered, police investigative reports he researched, an analysis of suspect composites and even the sordid details of Dahmer's murky past before he came to be known as America's most notorious serial killer. FRUSTRATED WITNESS: The Complete Story of the Adam Walsh Case and Police Misconduct-Willis Morgan.
When six-year-old Adam Walsh was abducted from the Hollywood Mall on July 27, 1981, and his severed head found at the Florida Turnpike, no one could have guessed that it would take police almost thirty years to find the culprit or that even then they had still got it all so wrong. Willis Morgan was an eye witness at the mall the day Adam was taken, but rather than feel relief when the Hollywood Police Department finally convicted suspect Ottis Toole in 2008, he felt sick and frustrated. Frustrated that a young child was snatched from right in front of him. Frustrated that evidence, leads and witness testimony were lost. Frustrated that eyewitness testimony of Jeffrey Dahmer being at the Hollywood Mall the same day was disregarded. Frustrated because there was a compelling wall of evidence that it was Jeffrey Dahmer, the Milwaukee Cannibal, who killed Adam, and not Toole. And most of all frustrated because no justice has yet been served for Adam Walsh. In his book “Frustrated Witness”, Morgan details his unnerving encounter with serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in the mall, the other eyewitness accounts of that fateful day and major flaws in the police investigation. “This is the account of Adam Walsh’s abduction and my attempts stretching across decades to find justice for him,” Morgan writes. “As much as this book is a case for Jeffrey Dahmer being Adam’s murderer, it is equally a study of how the Hollywood Police Department (HPD) conducted the homicide investigation.” Morgan has left no stone unturned in his quest for the truth and “ Frustrated Witness” includes an incredible array of evidence he gathered, piece by painstaking piece, to prove Dahmer committed the murder of Adam Walsh. This includes crime scenes he uncovered, police investigative reports he researched, an analysis of suspect composites and even the sordid details of Dahmer’s murky past before he came to be known as America’s most notorious serial killer who dismembered, ate or kept parts of his victims. “Frustrated Witness” not only implicates Dahmer but presents the facts to the court of public opinion, in the hope that it ultimately brings about justice for Adam Walsh. On this edition of of After Hours AM with host Joel Sturgis. We are joined by Mia Taylor and Willis Morgan. Both saw Jeffery Dahmer at the very mall on the day Adam Walsh (son of John Walsh host of America's Most Wanted) was kidnapped. Here their testimony that Dahmer not Ottis Toole is the real killer! "Willis Morgan was born in Port Jefferson, Long Island, NY. He graduated from Bellport High School then went on to Suffolk County Community College before joining the United States Air Force as a Security Police Officer. In 1972 Willis moved to Miami and started working for the Miami Herald. In 1977 he became a supervisor in charge of the training program for the pressroom. In 1981 Willis became involved in the Adam Walsh case after he had an encounter with one of America’s most notorious serial killers, Jeffrey Dahmer, in Radio Shack located in the Hollywood Mall, Hollywood Florida. The day was July 27, 1981. This was the same day that Adam Walsh was abducted. After being brushed off by the Hollywood Police Department when he tried to tell them what happened. Willis spent the next three decades trying to find justice for Adam. After the Hollywood Police Department closed the case on December 16, 2008 pinning Adam’s murder on a sycophantic serial confessor, Ottis Toole, Willis started tracking down other witnesses to find out where the police went wrong. It was also about that time Willis started writing his book Frustrated Witness! Willis wants the world to know it was not Ottis Toole that murdered Adam."

“As much as this book is a case for Jeffrey Dahmer being Adam’s murderer, it is equally a study of how the Hollywood Police Department (HPD) conducted the homicide investigation.” Morgan has left no stone unturned in his quest for the truth and includes an incredible array of evidence he gathered. “Frustrated Witness” not only implicates Dahmer but presents the facts to the court of public opinion, in the hope that it ultimately brings about justice for Adam Walsh. As much as this book is a case for Jeffrey Dahmer being Adam s murderer, it is equally a study of how the Hollywood Police Department (HPD) conducted the homicide investigation. Morgan has left no stone unturned in his quest for the truth and Frustrated Witness includes an incredible array of evidence he gathered, piece by painstaking piece, to prove Dahmer committed the murder of Adam Walsh. This includes crime scenes he uncovered, police investigative reports he researched, an analysis of suspect composites and even the sordid details of Dahmer s murky past before he came to be known as America s most notorious serial killer who dismembered, ate or kept parts of his victims. Frustrated Witness not only implicates Dahmer but presents the facts to the court of public opinion, in the hope that it ultimately brings about justice for Adam Walsh."This show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/1198501/advertisement
