The Opperman Report podcast is a show that delivers compelling and entertaining content, despite its untimely and annoying commercials. The host, Ed Opperman, is dedicated to providing information with evidence to back it up, which is a rarity in today's world. His investigative skills are impressive, often putting him ahead of other researchers and the mainstream media. The interviews conducted on this show are thought-provoking and interesting, even when listeners may not always agree with the point of view presented. Overall, it is a podcast that offers unique insights without the usual right-wing propaganda.
However, one major drawback of the podcast is the poor audio quality and editing. The commercials can be disruptive and annoying, especially due to variations in volume. This can ruin the listening experience for many listeners who would otherwise appreciate the amazing content offered by Ed Opperman. It is understandable why this could be a turn-off for some individuals.
In conclusion, despite its audio shortcomings and bothersome commercials, The Opperman Report podcast remains an excellent source of information that covers topics rarely touched upon by others. Ed Opperman's dedication to presenting evidence-based content makes him stand out among conspiracy-themed shows. While improvements in audio quality would greatly enhance the overall experience for listeners, it should not deter anyone from exploring this unique podcast.

In 1992, nine-year-old Katie Beers was kidnapped by a family friend and locked in an underground box for 17 days. Katie has now come forward to tell the story that created a national media storm as reporters uncovered the truth about her pre-kidnapping life of neglect and sexual abuse and the details of her rescue. She shares how this experience and the recent death of her kidnapper, John Esposito, has affected her life. Despite the horrible reality of Katie's days of being chained in darkness, the kidnapping was, in fact, the climactic end of a tragic childhood and the beginning of a new life. Katie breaks her silence and reveals her inspiring healing process to the journalist who covered the story of the disappearance more than twenty years ago. Buried Memories is the only source that includes the complete details of her traumatic childhood, transcriptions of recordings from Esposito, a first-hand account of how Katie felt after Esposito's death in 2013, and Katie's hopeful view of the future as she looks back into her dark past.https://amzn.to/463HVsVBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.

Buying a Bride: An Engaging History of Mail-Order Matches / L.A. Secret Police. Inside the LAPD Elite Spy NetworkThere have always been mail-order brides in America—but we haven't always thought about them in the same ways. In Buying a Bride, Marcia A. Zug starts with the so-called “Tobacco Wives” of the Jamestown colony and moves all the way forward to today's modern same-sex mail-order grooms to explore the advantages and disadvantages of mail-order marriage. It's a history of deception, physical abuse, and failed unions. It's also the story of how mail-order marriage can offer women surprising and empowering opportunities.Drawing on a forgotten trove of colorful mail-order marriage court cases, Zug explores the many troubling legal issues that arise in mail-order marriage: domestic abuse and murder, breach of contract, fraud (especially relating to immigration), and human trafficking and prostitution. She tells the story of how mail-order marriage lost the benign reputation it enjoyed in the Civil War era to become more and more reviled over time, and she argues compellingly that it does not entirely deserve its current reputation. While it is a common misperception that women turn to mail-order marriage as a desperate last resort, most mail-order brides are enticed rather than coerced. Since the first mail-order brides arrived on American shores in 1619, mail-order marriage has enabled women to improve both their marital prospects and their legal, political, and social freedoms. Buying A Bride uncovers this history and shows us how mail-order marriage empowers women and should be protected and even encouraged. L.A. Secret Police. Inside the LAPD Elite Spy NetworkL.A. Secret Police. Inside the LAPD Elite Spy Network is a New York Times and Los Angeles Times Bestseller. This incredible non-fiction book rips the lid off the LAPD and exposes the reader to its dark underbelly of corruption during the reign of Chief Daryl Gates. L.A. cops ruined lives and reputations, inflicted mindless brutality, committed murder and engaged in massive cover-ups. In Los Angeles, police corruption was much more than unmarked envelopes stuffed with cash. It was a total corruption of power. For decades LAPD engaged in massive illegal spying and lied about it. Its spying targets included politicians, movie stars, professional athletes, news reporters and anyone wielding power or those of interest to Daryl Gates. Incredibly, the spying targets included a Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, a Secretary of Defense, a current Governor and the President of the United States. It all happened in Los Angeles.Detective Rothmiller is the modern-day Frank Serpico; he exposed the tentacles of corruption which reached to the highest levels within the LAPD and Washington D.C. It wasn't long after that an assassin attempted to take his life. It was apparent to many that powerful forces wanted him silenced. Incredibly, in this book Detective Rothmiller names names! See why this book changed the LAPD and is required reading at many universities. As former Assistant United States Attorney Marvin Rudnick said, “Rothmiller was in a position to know. He did very sensitive work.”Every book has an ending. However, the ending of this book will shock you. Within the new epilogue is a multi-page essay written especially for this updated book by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist David Cay Johnston. In it he describes his personal experience as a target of Daryl Gates illegal intelligence operations while he served as a Los Angeles Times reporter. You'll also read the challenge posed by detective Rothmiller to the LAPD. A challenge LAPD has refused to answer.Since releasing this updated eBook, Detective Rothmiller has been interviewed dozens of times by the national media regarding current NSA domestic spying and the 2013 murderous rampage of former LAPD cop Christopher Dorner. In late 2013 Detective Rothmiller was interviewed for a major television documentary which will expose corruption and major crimes committed at the highest levels. The documentary is scheduled for release in 2016.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.

“A riveting memoir that takes readers on a roller coaster ride from the depths of hell to triumphant success.”—Dave Pelzer, author of A Child Called “It”Michelle Stevens has a photo of the exact moment her childhood was stolen from her: She's only eight years old, posing for her mother's boyfriend, Gary Lundquist—an elementary school teacher, neighborhood stalwart, and brutal pedophile. Later that night, Gary locks Michelle in a cage, tortures her repeatedly, and uses her to quench his voracious and deviant sexual whims. Little does she know that this will become her new reality for the next six years.Michelle can also pinpoint the moment she reconstituted the splintered pieces of her life: She's in cap and gown, receiving her PhD in psychology—and the university's award for best dissertation. The distance between these two points is the improbable journey from torture, loss, and mental illness to healing, recovery, and triumph that is Michelle's powerful memoir, Scared Selfless.Michelle suffered from post‐traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression, and made multiple suicide attempts. She also developed multiple personalities. There was “Chelsey,” the rebellious teenager; “Viscous,” a tween with homicidal rage; and “Sarah,” a sweet little girl who brought her teddy bear on a first date.In this harrowing tale, Michelle, who was inspired to help others heal by becoming a psychotherapist, sheds light on the all-too-real threat of child sexual abuse, its subsequent psychological effects, and the best methods for victims to overcome their ordeals and, ultimately, thrive. Scared Selfless is both an examination of the extraordinary feats of the mind that are possible in the face of horrific trauma as well as Michelle's courageous testament to their power.https://amzn.to/4mapI2ABecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.

On the surface it's a straightforward story. Here in South Florida, somebody took 6-year-old Adam Walsh from the toy department of his neighborhood Sears, where his mother said she'd left him alone for just a few minutes because he'd wanted to play at the video games display while she shopped. Store cameras would have solved this – except it was 1981 and stores didn't yet have them. After two weeks of a huge, unprecedented police and community search, and with the story in the local news every day, men fishing 125 miles upstate in an orange grove canal saw something floating they thought was a doll's head. It was a child's head.Just the head.Cops arriving on the scene figured it was Adam. A DNA comparison with his parents would have been definitive – but this was years before forensic DNA was in use. Fingerprints – there was only a head, no other body part was ever found. A visual ID by his parents – they could have made one, but they sent someone else to go to the morgue. Adam's dental records – while his parents and the news media waited, that was how the ID was done, by a medical examiner who compared them to the found child's teeth. Yes, he declared, it was Adam.Adam's image in his last photograph became the raison d'etre for the Walsh parents, who told their heart-wrenching story in interviews with newspapers and on TV talk shows; in testimony to Congress to urge the enactment of new laws to help find missing children, then at a signing ceremony at the White House Rose Garden; and in two made-for-television movies and a best-selling book. John Walsh became the crusading host of a long-running TV crime show, America's Most Wanted, which helped catch hundreds of violent fugitives. Meanwhile, the police had never solved Adam's case. But kind of lost in all of this was Adam himself.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.

Christopher Fulton's journey began with the death of Evelyn Lincoln, late secretary to President John F. Kennedy. Through Lincoln, crucial evidence ended up in Christopher's hands—evidence that was going to be used to facilitate a new future for America. But the U.S. government's position was clear: that evidence had to be confiscated and classified, and the truth hidden away from the public. Christopher was sent to federal prison for years under a sealed warrant and indictment. The Inheritance, Christopher's personal narrative, shares insider information from his encounters with the Russian Government, President Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump, the Clinton White House, the U.S. Justice Department, the Secret Service, and the Kennedy family themselves. It reveals the true intentions of Evelyn Lincoln and her secret promise to Robert Kennedy—and Christopher's secret promise to John F. Kennedy Jr. The Inheritance explodes with history-changing information and answers the questions Americans are still asking, while pulling them through a gauntlet of some of the worst prisons this country has to offer. This book thrillingly exposes the reality of American power, and sheds light on the dark corners of current corruption within the executive branch and the justice and prison systems.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.

I stumbled on this old interview and it brought me to tears. It was a 2020 spontaneous interview of me by Peirce Redmond Porkins Policy Radio. You can hear behind the scenes info about Steven Hoffenbergs plan to use legal Judo to get US Virgin Islands to go after Epsteins Estate. This was BEFORE USVI went after the Trust over the tax fraud and started all the litigation. It confirms what I've always hinted that it was Steven Hoffenberg that initiated all that litigation. You can also hear and feel my personal excitement because Hoffenberg was retaining me to help with the VI and I had hopes we could get a piece of the $600 million. Everything you hear in this interview was before the news reports, before Virgin Islands started suing Epstein before the settlements, before the tax settlement. We were discussing the fact that the DNA research stuff was a scam and a fraud while people today still think it's real. So first I made a commentary then I play the Redmond interview from 2020.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.

Michael Jackson was the pop icon the media loved to hate. Tremendously wealthy, inarguably eccentric, and one of the most famous people in the world, Jackson was the unenviable target of constant public humiliation. The media poked fun at his skin, his features, his sexuality, and his lifestyle. Here, seasoned crime reporter Aphrodite Jones condemns the media for perpetuating hateful rumors and innuendoes, recounting just the sordid details, and reporting only the most despicable accusations and grisly charges made against Michael Jackson during his criminal trial. They had built a highly profitable industry around the superstar's "freaky life" and banked on his conviction. And, it turns out, they got it all wrong. In their efforts to make money and win ratings, the media missed the truth. It wasn't until after the "not guilty" verdict that Jones had the insight and courage to admit her own unintentional role in the frenzy surrounding the shocking testimony, high drama, and countless celebrities in Michael Jackson's high-profile criminal trial. Bestselling author and TV host Jones makes amends with what is not only a truthful, well-documented chronicle of the entire trial but a powerful indictment against the media for conspiring to distort, dehumanize, and destroy Michael Jackson. She argues convincingly that the case against Jackson amounted to nothing more than a media-made, tax-paid scandal, and she makes an impassioned call to action for the public-at-large to think critically, question the integrity, and demand the truth in the “news”.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-opperman-report--1198501/support.
