A beautiful city at any time of year, it is decorated and lit up to perfection every Christmas. The city's cobbled streets are flanked by Medieval or Renaissance-period buildings and small canals run alongside the main thoroughfares. There are six different markets to see, each with a different focus such as artisan crafts, food or even an area aimed at children. On top of all that, the city's park has an ice rink and even a merry-go-round that has been adapted into a highly festive rotating drinkery. Although Switzerland has an abundance of lovely Christmas markets, a trip to Colmar is something special: we'll tell you why in this latest episode! A life with rules equals freedom - What?? Let's live a life inductively with some rules that aren't rules but are needed, confused??? I was until I took some time to think about a sentence I heard. It all started with " you're living in the danger zone if you're living in a life without structure" and initially I shouted to myself NOOOOOOO! But then I took some time to think about firstly my reaction and then to look at this from the inside out. I enjoyed this thinking and examples came to mind that seemed to go against this then to come back to it and that was confusing. Examples such as my NLP trainings and the processes contained in them, the way I learnt and the way I was trained in hypnosis, Yoga, my gym workouts and well you fill in the blank - Yep I want and challenge you to think of things you have learnt or do that has a structure and is needed to give you freedom. Yep it gets even more confusing. I'll also share ways to be free to become the most successful you with a structure by following what successful people do and how you can incorporate and adapt them into your life What I came to was that there is something special that has to happen and is included with structure and freedom. For that you will have to listen and if you would give me your feedback to help me and everyone else. Send it to me at feedback@personaldevelopmentunplugged.com As usual, if you find a gem in this please share it with others and spread the word of the podcast, its a great way to pay it forward. I want the old me - sound familiar Would you let me share a another personal story? My personal story of wanting to find and be the 'Old Paul' again. I think it will resonate with you and maybe you will see the similarities. You see you don't really want the old you back again but what you do need is to be the REAL you. It was difficult for me to get this but when I did WOW! I don't want to spoil it by giving to much here but since recording this I have also recorded a hypnosis track to let go of the 'Old You' and reconnect to the 'REAL YOU' which is so liberating and because we a constantly evolving we can repeat this process over and over again Shine brightly and please remember to share Paul Please remember you can leave a comment or email me with questions, requests and feedback.
