Johnny is one of the most inspiring and transformed people we have had the pleasure of being friends with for over a decade. He graduated from CROP Organization's Alcohol and Drug Counseling Programs while incarcerated, served others more than anyone we knew in there, and strived daily to transform the culture of prison. Johnny was born in Hawthorne California, raised by a single mom, sought validation and acceptance outside of the home, and joined a gang at an early age. He was sentenced to life as a teenager and served 28 years in the California prison system. His powerful and moving transformational story is documented in our book, "Men Built for Others." He believes that every person has value and the ability to transform. His work as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Los Angeles centers on helping people realize that another future is possible for them. Today, Johnny empowers people to get sober, change their lives, and helps other formerly incarcerated people reenter society successfully. He serves at the non-profit, "Getting Out by Going In" (GOGI) which offers valuable life-skills to the incarcerated. There he spends time several days a week writing letters to men and women who are still incarcerated and in need of restoration. He is happily married to his wife Cynthia, and she joined in service with Johnny at GOGI. Together they written hundreds and maybe thousands of letters to the incarcerated and have also gone back into the prison system to offer hope and GOGI books. He is the epitome of a man of character, service, and love. Please watch and subscribe to The Prison Post or on any of the major podcasting platforms where you listen to your favorite podcasts. We discuss the highlights from the Model Y unveil event Tesla held on March 14th, 2019 at their Design Studio in Hawthorne California. We only had a brief amount of time to chat, so we focus on what struck us most about the event and the Model Y itself, primarily how the Model Y is quite similar to what we expected, and how that is a great thing for Tesla and customers alike.

The new findings indicate that at least one brown dwarf is being created for every two stars that are born. *Closest look ever at Jupiter’s great red spot NASA’s Juno mission which has already revolutionised sciences view of Jupiter has just undertaken humanity’s closest ever flyby of the gas giant’s most enigmatic feature – the Great Red Spot. The Great Red Spot is a colossal high pressure anticyclone -- some 16,000 kilometres in diameter -- which has been raging across the Jovian southern Hemisphere for at least 350 years and possibly centuries longer. *New subatomic particle discovered Physicists have discovered a new subatomic particle -- the doubly charmed or doubly heavy quark baryon. The newly found particle -- detected by scientists at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider – is the first discovered containing two charm quarks and one up quark. *Space X launches four missions in under a month. The giant gravity wells – known as supermassive black holes -- were detected by NASA’s Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array – NuSTAR – spacecraft by the high energy X-ray emissions they were generating as they feed on anything that ventured too close *More evidence for cycles of wet and dry periods found on Mars NASA’s Mars Curiosity rover has discovered what look like mud cracks on the surface of the red planet. If confirmed, these would be the first mud cracks -- technically called desiccation cracks – found by the Curiosity mission. *Cosmic Dust found on roof tops Scientists have found traces of cosmic dust on the roof tops in across Europe. The space dust particles – which are technically micrometeorites – were found of tops of buildings in Paris, Berlin and Oslo. *SpaceX returns to flight status SpaceX has returned to flight status with the successful launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California carrying ten new Iridium telecommunications satellites into orbit. The flight was a double success for the Hawthorne California based company with the launch vehicle’s first stage successfully landing on a floating platform in the North Pacific Ocean. If you're enjoying SpaceTime, please help out by sharing and telling your friends.
