This week we take a break from Captain's Log for a group one-shot of the (infamous?) Maid RPG. Join Rainy, Kenny, and Santiago as David-kun takes them through character creation and a truly bizarre journey into a randomly generated world of anime maids, vengeance, spies, religious fanaticism, rampaging robots, and...terror?? Today were talking about a sense of time and place. Ray calls in to tell us about an awesome place to play role playing games and about the time. In which splat books 1st appeared. I'll talk about where my favorite place to play role-playing games is, and then Jason, Spencer, Anthony, Julia, and Colin will talk about the awesome game, Maid RPG. This one is amazing, folks!
Wherein I talk about MAID RPG, the weirdest, coolest, most obscure game I've come across in my 30+ years of gaming.
The Resurrectionists set out to find their next score, but quickly discover that political powderkegs with underlying hints of conspiracy are, in fact, complicated. Short on leads, they stumble into one person with the skills and contacts to help them navigate this web of conflict and intrigue... and immediately antagonize them. Featuring the return of Fern, previously heard in our Maid RPG adventures!
The time has come! Extra Credit crosses over with THE LESBIATHAN’s podcast Pen and Paper Bullshit and gives you a horrible, horrible game to endure along with us! Maid RPG is a poorly constructed, disgusting game where you play as an Anime Maid complete with anime personality traits, signed randomly by dice roll. Tonight’s game takes […]
Are our maids up the task? And what of the Master and his family, who have pretty much forgotten him. Will we have our anime style fairy tale ending? Tune in to find out!
As the tension ratchets up and the shenanigans pile high can our Maids win the favor our Master. Can our sexy maid, spider maid, and cat maid ever get along? Tune in to find out!
Justin leads us through the Maid RPG, where we play maids vying for the affection and favor of our Master (aka Justin).
Justin GM's the game Ben said he would never play, and look who is making a character. Come join the Bards as they delve deep into the anime comedy roleplaying game Maid, where we are all Maids!
Snapper's behind the BGN wheel for the first time, and he's driving us straight into Maid RPG, an INCREDIBLY Japanese game that simulates the world of domestic service with painstaking realism (or so I'm told). This world consists of two Pure Heroines and one Sexy Cool, randomly-generated plot points, the conquest of Heaven, tennis, and an unreasonable number of Metal Gear Solid references. Maid RPG can be found here: http://www.maidrpg.com/index.shtml And our music is, as always, from Aesop Rock's The Blob: https://soundcloud.com/rhymesayers/aesop-rock-the-blob
Wicked Anime brings you awesome animated commentary every other week... but this time, we're bringing you outrageous, improvised anime adventure! For our 100th episode we're doing something drastically different. We're celebrating our podcasting centennial by returning to anime tabletop. Once before the Wicked Anime hosts transformed into cliche anime personas for a massive RPG adventure in B.E.S.M. (Big Eyes, Small Mouth), but this time we're switching genres and going kawaii; this time we're playing Maid. Maid is a tabletop RPG where players become housemaids in a mansion - each of them simply looking to serve and appease the master as best they can. Andrew is the GM and Master of the house, Jojoshiro Kujo-sama (aka Jojo-sama), who lords over a motley crew of servants: albino, street-wise stoic; Jyu (Glitch), amicable amateur scientist; Amuso (Dillon), absent-minded guardian angel; Kaya (Jonathan), and valley girl sociopath; Hanbaga, aka Hanna (Nerdy Show's Cap). The girls vie for superiority against each other and a host of supporting characters played by Lerok, as they compete to see who will oversee Kujo Mansion. Join us as we roleplay our hearts out for the master, yo! Yaruki Zero Podcast #22 (39 minutes, 42 seconds) 2013 was quite a year for me, plus I haven’t done a proper podcast in ages (literally over 2 years…), so I decided to do an overview of my year, covering the Channel A and Golden Sky Stories Kickstarters, Maid RPG, Fate and Adventures of the Space … Continue reading Yaruki Zero Podcast #22: 2013 in Review →

Here is the first of several interviews that I was lucky enough to get at GenCon. I had the pleasure of playing a session of 'Godsend Agenda' last GenCon with my fellow AGC co-hosts, Mark and Chris, as well as some of the rest of the Rolemonkeys, and the guys from The Gamemaster Show. This year, Jerry brings us Hellas: Worlds of Sun and Stone. It's an awesome looking game with a deceptively simple mechanic that can handle anything. Also at the booth was Andy Kitkowski - selling Maid the Roleplaying Game - the first Japanese RPG to be translated and released in English. There's a special mystery guest too at the booth! ;)A GenCon story about Jerry - he is such a wonderful guy - there was a little girl with her Mom looking for some Bella Sara cards, and Jerry left his booth, and went hunting for cards - found some - and then went looking for them to make sure they got the cards. Enjoy the interview - and watch for the review of (at least) the QuickStart of Hellas! An Amazoran at the booth - Yes, an Amazoran, not a Drow, not a Twi'lek, and most definitely NOT a Smurf...Mick and I took some pics outside the Convention Hall - as she slays the beast!Links:Hellas: Worlds of Sun and Stone Godsend AgendaMaid RPG - a forum post about the game by AndySome of Jerry's inspiration came from TalislantaAll Games ConsideredThe RolemonkeysThe Gamemaster ShowDownload EpisodeYou can email us at:carolslgg@gmail.comjacquislgg@gmail.comstephslgg@gmail.comIntro music is "Made of Fiction" by Anemo located on PodShow Podsafe Music Network.End theme is "Jedi Girl" by T.
