Its popularity led to a long network run, multiple seasons, and a lasting place in cartoon history. Main cast and who they played: Don Messick — Papa Smurf, Baby Smurf Lucille Bliss — Smurfette Michael Bell — Handy Smurf, Hefty Smurf June Foray — Mother Nature Paul Winchell — Gargamel

The big premiere of Sex In Your 40s at Gardena Cinema. The guy Christian Bale screamed at directed lots of the most iconic music videos of the 90s. There's a "King Conan" movie very possibly on the way, and something you've always dreamed of – another Godfather movie, but told from Connie Corleone's perspective! That's a surefire hit if I've ever heard of one. I went to see Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia, and have some thoughts about it as an aging film nerd. I also went to see The Mandalorian movie, and it was about as intricate and thought-provoking as an episode of The Smurfs.
It's 1986 and the cereal is sugary, the TV knob is warm, and the Saturday morning cartoon wars are officially underway! Shua and Jay travel back to the golden age of animated chaos to decide which network truly ruled the weekend lineup. From Muppet Babies and Real Ghostbusters to Schoolhouse Rock and Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n Wrestling, the guys relive the cartoons, commercials, trivia, and unforgettable memories that made Saturday mornings legendary. Plus, Jay quizzes Shua on Schoolhouse Rock in a battle for educational cartoon supremacy. News Atari has officially acquired the legendary RPG franchise Wizardry, bringing the classic BASIC-coded dungeon crawler under the company's retro gaming banner. Nintendo surprised fans with a special "Star Fox Direct" presentation that officially confirmed a brand-new Star Fox game for the Nintendo Switch 2. Top Gun fans can celebrate the film's 40th anniversary with collectible Maverick and Goose helmet popcorn buckets available during opening showings. Star Tours: Last Launch is an impressive fan-made film packed with love for Disney Parks and Star Wars, including appearances from several franchise legends. Check out our TeePublic store for some enjoyable swag and all the latest fashion trends What we're Enjoying Jay checked out Daredevil: Born Again along with Punisher: One More Kill on Disney+, and found the new season to be a major improvement with smoother storytelling and stronger pacing. The gritty tone was intense and the Punisher special delivered exactly the kind of brutal action fans expect from Frank Castle. Shua sampled the new Firecracker Pop Oreos inspired by the classic red, white, and blue Rocket Pops, and somehow they actually taste remarkably close to the frozen treat. They're sugary, nostalgic, and absolutely worth trying at least once for the novelty alone. Sci-Fi Saturdays - This week on Sci-Fi Saturdays Jay focuses on the 2020 time-loop comedy Palm Springs. He explains how the movie unexpectedly became the perfect film for audiences during the COVID lockdown era, with its themes of repetition, isolation, and emotional burnout resonating in a strangely timely way. He also praises the clever writing from Andy Siara and the direction from Max Barbakow for taking the familiar time-loop concept and making it feel fresh, funny, and surprisingly philosophical. The film balances absurd comedy with meaningful emotional depth, elevating it beyond a typical indie comedy. And make sure to play around with the interactive map on MCULocationScout.com. This week he's added some new locations from Daredevil: Born Again season 2. Plus, you can tune in to SHIELD: Case Files where Jay and Shua talk about great stuff in the MCU. Enjoy Saturdays in 1986! This week, Shua and Jay climb aboard the nostalgia rocket and head straight back to the glorious cartoon battleground of 1986 Saturday mornings. We explore the origins of Saturday morning cartoons from the earliest days of Crusader Rabbit all the way through the animation boom created by Hanna-Barbera and the toy-driven explosion of the 1980s. Then it's time to choose a channel as we break down the legendary 1986 lineups from ABC, CBS, and NBC featuring classics like The Real Ghostbusters, Muppet Babies, The Smurfs, Pound Puppies, Kidd Video, and more. Along the way they relive the cereal-fueled excitement of planning your morning around the TV schedule, revisit the magic of Schoolhouse Rock, and test cartoon knowledge with a hilarious trivia showdown. Nathan Jones spoke with us about hardware security, motivation, conference talks, and writing. Nathan wrote an in-depth series of posts about the benefits of superloops vs RTOS: You Don't Need an RTOS (Part 1), Part 2, Part 3, and Part 4. He also wrote about How Hardware Gets Hacked (Part 1) and Part 2 which discusses the MITRE embedded CTF (Capture the Flag) challenge. See his EmbeddedRelated profile and Digikey profile. And Nathan's excellent Embedded for Everyone Github repo. Nathan recommends The Hardware Hacking Handbook by Jasper van Woudenberg and Colin O'Flynn. It is an excellent resource on embedded security. We spoke with Jasper about the book in 431: Becoming More of a Smurf and with Colin about the Chip Whisperer in 286: Twenty Cans of Gas. The European Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) has specific features that are required to be implemented by all devices that want the safety CE label. This is important for products shipping to Europe. If you are going to the Embedded Online Conference, you can get a discount with the code JONES100. Nathan will be giving a workshop on the Chip Whisperer Nano. (Recent guest Mark Omo will also be presenting: Security for the Rest of Us: What Matters and Where to Start.) Another conference for the security-minded is Hardwear.io which is in Santa Clara, CA, USA at the end of May and in Amsterdam in November. Last year, Nathan spoke about Exception Handling for EOC 2025 (video). Elecia mentioned her own Creating Chaos and Hard Faults from EOC 2024. The Embedded Slack book club is reading The Pragmatic Programmer, 20th Anniversary Edition. Well, some of us are just watching. A fascinating and somewhat unsettling observation from JACC: Asia: nearly 1 in 4 STEMI patients in New Delhi had no traditional risk factors—no hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, or smoking. Yet outcomes tell a different story. Despite fewer signs of heart failure at presentation, these patients had worse left ventricular dysfunction and identical in-hospital and 1-year mortality compared with those with standard risk factors. This "SMuRF-less paradox" challenges our conventional risk models. It reminds us that absence of risk factors is not absence of risk. We may need to think beyond the usual suspects—toward genetics, inflammation, lipoprotein(a), and healthcare access delays—to truly understand and prevent cardiovascular disease. A humbling lesson: treat aggressively, think broadly, and never be reassured by a "clean" risk profile.
The Fork In Your Ear Ep#211 Natepril Fools - Podcast Description Summary (April 4, 2026 Recording) In this episode of the Fork in Your Ear Podcast, hosts Tim K. Trotter and Nate (the "nape profile" and self-proclaimed master of puns and dad jokes) catch up after some technical hiccups and a holiday-related scheduling shift. They kick things off with a light-hearted roast of their absent Discord friend "Dame," who recently became a dad (congrats!) but kept it quiet, then nerd out over his rediscovered 90s Pokémon Gold/Silver BradyGames guidebook. Xbox Developer Preview Highlights The bulk of the conversation dives into the recent Xbox Partner Preview event. Nate walks through the announced titles (mostly in alphabetical order), with Tim chiming in on what catches his eye: Alien: Descent Storm – Atmospheric first-person survival shooter on Mars. Artificial Detective – Kitschy post-apocalyptic robot detective game with stylish storytelling. Send to Zero – Isometric pixel-art action game that reminds Tim of classic Final Fantasy aesthetics but sparks his mixed feelings on isometric perspectives (he prefers top-down; blames Sonic 3D Blast trauma). Happy Snaps – Basically Pokémon Snap but in the Bluey universe (Nate's kids will love it; lots of wholesome family talk and mild commentary on the IP being milked). Dispatch – The full collection is finally coming to Xbox (Play Anywhere, cloud, Series X/S). Tim highlights that the game has already sold 5 million copies pre-Xbox release—outpacing many big Sony titles. The Eternal Life of Oldman – Hand-drawn side-scroller where you play as an old man fixing/upgrading with his cane; Tim and Nate both vibe with the "games for us old guys" theme. The Expanse: Born from Cyberspace – Mass Effect-style RPG set in the beloved Expanse universe. Nate is hyped; they debate whether it's canon to the books/show. Forever Ago – Narrative adventure about an old man unlocking life memories (another "old guy game"). Frog Squad – Chaotic co-op puzzle game with frogs using tongues (reminds Tim of Chameleon Twist); looks like family fun despite the dated graphics. Grave Seasons – Farming sim with a dark/terrifying twist (Jessica would love it, per Tim). Hades II – Coming to Xbox; Tim shouts out Supergiant Games. Hunter: The Reckoning – Death Wish – First-person shooter take on the classic co-op gauntlet-style series. Moosa: Dirty Fate – Feudal Japan-inspired dark action game with bloody executions. Serious Sam – New 5-player co-op shooter from Behavior Interactive; Tim calls it "turn your brain off and shoot" in a good way. Stalker 2: Cost of Hope DLC – More content for the Ukrainian-developed series. Stranger Than Heaven – Brawler-style game from RGG Studio (Yakuza/Like a Dragon team?); graphics feel dated. Super Meat Boy 3D – Already out, but early feedback is disappointing (sloppy controls, no involvement from original creator Edmund McMillen). Vanted – Tactical RPG with explosive turn-based/real-time combat and Team Fortress-y art. Wuthering Waves – Coming to Xbox/Game Pass; Tim describes it as "Genshin Impact but more sci-fi, with Pokémon elements and better gameplay." They note the heavy presence of narrative-driven, story-focused, or "inclusive for older gamers" titles, which both hosts appreciate. What They've Been Playing Nate: Jumped into the recommended twin-stick Zelda-like Mini Shoot Adventures on Tim's suggestion. He's beaten the first dungeon boss, done ship upgrades, and shares Tim's minor complaint about missing dungeon maps, though it doesn't bother him as much. Loves the smooth controls, auto-shoot option, and forgiving fail states. Also tried a bit of ARK: Survival Ascended with the kids (dinosaurs!) but found the tutorial/missions frustrating and deadly. Tim: Finished Mini Shoot Adventures (highly recommends it). Played Life is Strange: Double Exposure with his wife—enjoyed the story, music, and choices but found the ending lackluster. They're looking forward to the new sequel Life is Strange: Reunion. Struggled heavily with ARK (wires quest saga involving drones, rockets, crashes, and rage-quits). Mentioned idle grinding in Exo Miner hitting brutal late-game walls. Entertainment & Culture Deaths: James Tolkan (Principal Strickland from Back to the Future, also in Top Gun) at 94, and animator Barry Caldwell (Tiny Toons, Smurfs, etc.). Movies: Tim and his wife saw Project Hail Mary in IMAX—loved the adaptation of Andy Weir's book, Ryan Gosling's performance, and the impressive practical puppet work (especially the alien). Highly recommended for space fans. Super Mario Galaxy Movie 2: Tim went opening night. Lots of Nintendo cameos (including Star Fox voiced by Glen Powell), stunning animation and score, but criticized as overstuffed, fast-paced dopamine overload with thin character development and a chaotic plot. Fun for Nintendo fans as a "Super Nintendo World: The Movie" experience, but not a strong standalone film. Yoshi's backstory montage is a highlight; Donald Glover does the voice. Other: Tim watched Mercy (Chris Pratt + AI judge system) and re-watched Minority Report. Nate had a nostalgia kick with 80s films like D.A.R.Y.L. and The Last Starfighter (which he thinks needs a modern remake). They're watching Invincible Season 4—Tim calls Episode 5 one of the darkest, most disturbing things he's seen in animation. Life Stories Nate got his Tony Hawk skateboard delivered by an Amazon driver… who arrived on a skateboard himself (Tim and Nate both found this hilarious and practical). Tim's mom is back living with him after time in Florida—some minor household adjustments and "special mug" incidents. Work stress is high with big out-of-state jobs, parts delays, and travel anxiety (food allergies add extra layers). Nate's wife is stressed finishing the school yearbook; end-of-month work crunch for him too. General adulting chaos: kids, house, motorcycle service, etc. Podcast note: A long-time coworker finally discovered the show and gave audio volume feedback (services sometimes re-encode files lower). Tim fixed some broken links (RIP old Stitcher) and reminded listeners where to find the show (Apple, Spotify, YouTube, direct RSS). Technology Apple planning to add search ads to Maps (Nate and Tim not thrilled; fear of nickel-and-diming premium users). OpenAI in rough shape: burning ~$18M/day, Sora video platform shutting down, Disney exiting a $1B deal, potential IPO struggles, and scientific concerns about ChatGPT encouraging psychosis via constant affirmation. Micron RAM issues tied to OpenAI orders also impacted broader memory pricing. Anthropic's Claude AI had source code accidentally exposed in an update, leading to community "Claw Code" recreations. Artemis II successfully launched (despite April Fools timing causing momentary panic online). Crew is en route for a lunar flyby; they're using iPhone 17 Pros (first time an iPhone model is officially space-rated). Cool Earth photos and real-time mission updates shared. The episode is classic Fork in Your Ear: relaxed banter, deep game talk, honest opinions on media, relatable life gripes, and a mix of excitement and skepticism about tech/AI/space progress. Tim and Nate keep it real, funny, and grounded while covering a wide range of nerdy topics. Runtime vibe: Casual morning recording with occasional kid interruptions, tech troubleshooting, and plenty of laughs. Perfect for gamers, sci-fi fans, and anyone who enjoys two friends shooting the breeze. Frank Devereaux (Terry O'Quinn) loves betting on stuff. Don't really know why and with what funds, but he's dug himself into a debt hole. Now, a bunch of drug dealing Reno bad guys kidnap his son, Billy (Brandon Call), and force Frank to make ground up Smurf dust. Kinda like Gargamel's Breaking Bad. Enter: Nick Parker (Rutger Hauer). He served in Vietnam with Frank. Nick lost his sight there, but he has been spending his time training as a swordsman. Acorn squash beware! Now, he's back in the states with his sword cane, and he's going to knock around plenty of skulls as he rides around on buses with Billy. RTS learns how to clean up your eyebrows and neck beard with a gentle swish of a sword. Jeremy electrifies us all with his sparking death hot tub. La-Mar was told that his “butter knife ain't gonna stop no bullet.” Oddly, it does. It stops many bullets – and it helps butter his bread. Is Bruce Lee's brother showing up to this?

Send a textA rye cube, a lemon twist, and a splash of absinthe set the night in motion. We open with the Sazerac, swapping notes between Boatwright's at Port Orleans and our own New Orleans–style build, then take that same love of craft into a wild thought experiment: which non‑Disney characters and worlds would thrive under Disney's storytelling? We start with the legends. Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes spark a debate about timeless comedy, park characters, and the kind of physical gags that make queues feel alive. From there, we slide into Scooby‑Doo hijinks, SpongeBob's Bikini Bottom, and Bedrock's bronto‑size charm—proof that retro IP can still deliver modern magic. Gaming and anime icons raise the stakes: Mario's jump‑happy momentum, Pikachu's collect‑and‑trade culture, Sonic's speed run energy, and Hello Kitty's soft‑power merch. Each brings interactivity, replay value, and social fun that match how guests actually play parks today. We push beyond cartoons into cinematic sandboxes. Imagine a mid‑century Mad Men lounge with proper cocktails and impeccable woodwork. Picture Ghostbusters as a show‑driven effects playground, a Die Hard‑inspired tower drop with narrative beats, and a Jurassic World zone that sells scale without screen fatigue. Then we go epic: Middle‑earth as a multi‑land dream with the Shire's warmth, Rivendell's serenity, and Mordor's percussion and heat; Wizard of Oz for technicolor wonder and storm‑tossed transitions; Willy Wonka for edible illusions, fizzy‑lifting laughs, and music that hums through the pathways. Along the way we weigh Transformers, King Kong's Monarch universe, Hunger Games, Smurfs, Popeye, Garfield, Jetsons, and G.I. Joe—asking where Disney's “story per minute” advantage can turn good IP into unforgettable place. It's part cocktail hour, part imagineering session, and all heart for the details that make parks sing: scent, light, texture, music, and a wink of humor. Tap play, then tell us your top three non‑Disney IPs you'd hand to Disney and why. If you're vibing with the show, subscribe, share with a friend, and leave a quick review—it helps more Disney lovers find our little corner of magic. Cheers!
Top Stories for January 22nd Publish Date: January 22nd PRE-ROLL: Gwinnett County Public Schools From the BG AD Group Studio Welcome to the Gwinnett Daily Post Podcast. Today is Thursday, January 22nd and Happy birthday to Sam Cooke I’m Peyton Spurlock and here are your top stories presented by KIA Mall of Georgia. A winter storm is coming, but its impact remains unclear Jeff Foxworthy to tape comedy special at Gwinnett's Gas South Theater Struggling Georgia timber industry could receive big tax break Plus, Leah McGrath from Ingles Markets on breads All of this and more is coming up on the Gwinnett Daily Post podcast, and if you are looking for community news, we encourage you to listen daily and subscribe! Break 1: Sugar Hill Ice Skating Rink STORY 1: A winter storm is coming, but its impact remains unclear Gwinnett County, keep your eyes on the skies this weekend—forecasters are still piecing together just how hard Georgia will get hit by the winter storm barreling across the East Coast. Here’s what we know: a storm is coming. The National Weather Service in Peachtree City confirmed Tuesday night that north Georgia is in its path. “Significant impacts from ice and snow are anticipated,” they said. But the details? Still fuzzy. How far south will it reach? How much snow, ice, or that dreaded wintry mix? Timing? All TBD. Earlier Tuesday, forecasters weren’t even sure if the storm would touch Georgia. By nightfall, they were calling for an 80% chance of winter weather in the north Georgia mountains, tapering to 50% in middle Georgia. FOX 5 meteorologist Jonathan Stacey explained it’s all about Arctic air slamming into Gulf moisture. North Georgia? Likely stuck on the messy line between snow and ice. And with the ground already frozen from days of cold, conditions could get ugly fast. STORY 2: Jeff Foxworthy to tape comedy special at Gwinnett's Gas South Theater Jeff Foxworthy—Grammy nominee, comedy legend, and Atlanta’s own—is coming home to tape a live comedy special, and it’s happening right here in Gwinnett. Two nights only: April 15 and 16 at Gas South Theater. These shows? They’re gonna be up close and personal, packed with brand-new material. Tickets? Artist pre-sale started Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 10 a.m. (use code “JEFF”). General sales kick off Friday, Jan. 23 at 10 a.m. at GasSouthDistrict.com. Foxworthy isn’t just the king of redneck jokes (though, let’s be honest, they’re iconic). His humor dives into family life, human quirks, and the everyday absurdities we all know too well—think Mark Twain, but with a Southern drawl. With the best-selling comedy album of all time, 26 books, and a spot in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, he’s a comedy powerhouse. His latest special, The Good Old Days, is streaming now on Netflix, and his SiriusXM channel, Jeff and Larry’s Comedy Roundup, keeps the laughs rolling. STORY 3: Struggling Georgia timber industry could receive big tax break Georgia lawmakers are pushing to end sales taxes on timber—a lifeline for an industry that’s been hit hard by mill closures and devastating storms. House Majority Leader Chuck Efstration says the bipartisan effort is about protecting rural Georgia’s backbone. “Timber is a cornerstone of our state’s economy,” he said. “But between sawmill closures and Hurricane Helene’s destruction, timber farmers are struggling. This tax cut could help save livelihoods.” Georgia’s forestry industry, once the nation’s largest, has taken a beating. Hurricane Helene alone wiped out 1.5 million acres in 2024, costing $1.28 billion. Mill closures in Savannah, Riceboro, and Cedar Springs haven’t helped. The proposed tax cut would cost the state $18 million annually, but local governments would be reimbursed. Clint Mueller of the Association County Commissions of Georgia says counties reliant on timber need this industry to survive. If two-thirds of the legislature approves, voters will decide in November. Meanwhile, Gov. Brian Kemp’s budget proposal includes $14 million to boost timber tech in industries like auto manufacturing. We have opportunities for sponsors to get great engagement on these shows. Call 770.874.3200 for more info. We’ll be right back Break 2: Kia Mall of Georgia - GCPL Passport STORY 4: Norcross man arrested after disturbance at Social Security Office Gwinnett County Police arrested a Norcross man last week after back-to-back disturbances at two different locations. It started on Jan. 14 at the Social Security office on Shackleford Road. Witnesses told police that 65-year-old Robert Burke was yelling, making threats, and hurling insults—right in front of kids, no less. Employees said this wasn’t his first outburst there. Someone even had video, which helped officers identify him. But by the time they arrived? Burke was gone. An arrest warrant for disorderly conduct was issued, and, well, it didn’t take long to find him. The very next day, Jan. 15, police were called to a Courtyard Marriott in Duluth for—you guessed it—another disturbance involving Burke. No one was hurt in either incident, but the investigation’s still ongoing. STORY 5: Millender's three-point play in final seconds lifts No. 21 Georgia past Missouri 74-72 Marcus “Smurf” Millender stole the show Tuesday night, dropping 18 points and sealing No. 21 Georgia’s 74-72 win over Missouri with a clutch three-point play in the final 5.5 seconds. Missouri thought they had it when Jacob Crews nailed a wild, off-balance three with 21 seconds left, putting them up 72-71. But Millender—just 5-foot-11 and coming off the bench, as always—drove hard to the rim, took the hit, and somehow got the layup to fall. Oh, and he sank the free throw too. Crews had one last shot at the buzzer, but his deep three clanged off. Georgia, who usually lights up the scoreboard (96 points per game!), struggled offensively, shooting just 36.9%. Jeremiah Wilkinson added 14 points, and Kannon Catchings chipped in 12. Up next: Georgia heads to Texas on Saturday, while Missouri hosts Oklahoma. BRAVES: Carlos Beltrán and Andruw Jones are headed to Cooperstown, two center fielders who dominated their eras with a mix of power, speed, and jaw-dropping defense. Born just a day apart in April 1977, they’ll now share the stage at the Hall of Fame induction on July 26. Beltrán, in his fourth year on the ballot, finally crossed the 75% threshold, earning 84.2% of the vote. Jones, in his ninth year, got 78.4%. Both had to climb uphill—Beltrán’s path clouded by the Astros’ sign-stealing scandal, Jones’ by a slow start in Hall voting (just 7.3% in 2018). Beltrán, a nine-time All-Star, hit .279 with 435 homers and 1,587 RBIs over 20 seasons. He was a postseason monster, batting .307 with 16 homers in 65 playoff games. “The Mets are a big part of my identity,” he said, though his career spanned stints with Kansas City, Houston, St. Louis, and others. Jones, meanwhile, was a defensive wizard, winning 10 Gold Gloves and smashing 434 homers. He’s now the sixth Braves legend from their 1990s dynasty to make the Hall, joining Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Chipper, and McGriff. We’ll be right back. Industry insiders are noticing that the cost of the high-tech parts inside the console, like memory and storage, has been quietly climbing, which means Nintendo might have to raise the price of the Switch 2. It wouldn't be such a radical move as the PlayStation and Xbox have already increased the prices of their consoles after releasing them to the public. Fighter Pilot Survival: Kegan Gill's Battle Beyond the Battlefield In this extraordinary episode, Marcus and Melanie meet with retired U.S. Navy Fighter Pilot Kegan Gill, whose story is nothing short of miraculous. Kegan survived a catastrophic ejection from his aircraft during a training mission over the Atlantic Ocean, where he ejected directly into the sound barrier. The injuries he sustained in that moment were severe enough to kill most people – his limbs torn apart and a traumatic brain injury among them. But Kegan's ordeal was only beginning. Plunged into the icy waters of the Atlantic with his parachute still attached, his wetsuit torn, and his arms unable to move, Kegan was forced to endure a two-hour battle with hypothermia as rescue teams raced to find him. Miraculously, his hypothermic state prevented fatal blood loss. Following this harrowing experience, Kegan faced months of grueling recovery, eventually achieving a perfect Physical Fitness Test score and returning to flight duty. However, Kegan's journey didn't end with physical recovery. He began experiencing severe psychotic episodes due to his brain injury, leading to a stint in a VA Mental Health Facility. Pharmaceutical treatments only worsened his symptoms, and he endured dehumanizing treatment from caregivers who misunderstood his unique needs. Now, Kegan is finding renewed hope through alternative treatments for brain health. Through the Warrior Angels Foundation, he has discovered the power of nutraceutical and hormonal interventions, offering a glimmer of healing. Beyond his personal health battles, Kegan is a dedicated father and husband, working tirelessly to support his young family. Join us as Kegan opens up about his incredible journey of survival, resilience, and healing. His story is as inspiring as it is shocking – a testament to human strength and the will to overcome even the darkest of circumstances. Tune in to hear a story of grit, determination, and the relentless pursuit of healing against all odds. In This Episode You Will Hear: • When I was about 10 years old, my family had a friend that had a Cessna, and he took me up on this lawnmower with wings, and we went buzzing around, and it felt like a freakin' rocket ship. I absolutely loved being above the earth, and I felt so free. (6:36) • In May of 2012, I graduated as a winged aviator, and I got those wings pinned on my chest. (23:40) • [Marcus] It's an absolute transition into a different human being the minute those wings touch your chest. (24:02) • [In flight school] you showed up there, and you had your wings, and you thought you made it. They made it very clear you have not made anything yet. (26:40) • It just so happened on this day there was a 16 foot, 3,500 pound Great White Shark named Mary Lee directly under my airspace, and my buddy pointed out, “Hey man, Today would be a terrible day to eject,” and an hour after having that conversation, I found myself out on what turned into a pretty freaking wild experience. (36:23) • [Melanie] Q: Is it common to eject?” [Keegan] A: It happens more than you hear about in the news. We lose a few naval fighter jets every year to mishaps. (37:16) • When you show up at flight school, they say “Look to your left and look to your right. One of you is gonna have a serious mishap or be dead choosing this job. Are you sure you wanna be here?” (37:49) • You think you're invincible, and you don't really think anything of it. (38:04) • Keegan tells the detailed story of that fateful day. (Starting at 41:21) • When I punched out, I got the initial blast from the ejection seat, and then immediately impacted the sound barrier with my body. At that speed, the human body is not aerodynamic. (50:58) • The aircraft impacted the water so fast, it just vaporized. (52:50) • They ended up wheeling me in, and treated me for severe hyperthermia. They took my core body temperature. I was at 87 degrees. [Marcus] “That should've killed you.” (60:13) • One of the more senior guys takes me into his office and he goes: “Congratulations, Lieutenant Gill. If you can figure out how to get your body working again, we'll get you back in a Super Hornet. (68:14) • My brain was just not working the way it was supposed to from TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). (75:04) • I had a deep sense of betrayal from all that thought I had served. To see the treatment, it seemed like everything I was fighting for was a joke. (89:53) • I've had a number of psychedelic-assisted therapies that have been really helpful. (95:54) • Ibogaine has been studied pretty thoroughly at this point. It's showing that it triggers neuro-regeneration. They have been directly involved in all kinds of money laundering operations from major drug trafficking to pedophile blackmail rings like Epstein. They have done ALL of this KNOWINGLY. When you KNOWINGLY commit these types of crimes, you are participating in a massive “conspiracy.” Do you see the vulnerability? Hillary was never supposed to lose. Trump became the most powerful man on the planet, the moment he was sworn in as president back in 2017. Trump instantly became a threat to the entire corrupt system and had the military behind him. He took control of the most powerful central bank in the world and also controlled the world's reserve currency. He also controlled the DOJ. Jamie Dimon was vulnerable. But was he “leveraged” by Trump? I believe the answer is yes and the timeline of events proves it. In 2019, precious metals traders at JPM were convicted of manipulating the metals prices by “spoofing.” They would place fake orders, with no intention of taking delivery. JPM was FORCED to pay a fine of almost a billion dollars. That was the moment JPM was captured. And what has happened recently? Jamie Dimon just announced, that for the first time in its history, they have dumped their SILVER shorts and have gone long on SILVER. JPM is the largest holder of physical SILVER in the world at 750 million ounces. That is KEY. That 750 million ounces of SILVER are subject to Trump's Executive Order signed back in December of 2017, that was renewed each year of Biden's presidency. That's not a coincidence. I believe that 750 million ounces of SILVER are going to be the new U.S. Strategic SILVER Reserve. But here's what's interesting and indicates that JPM is now a tool in Trump's hand, taking down the global banking cabal. The SILVER and Gold prices are controlled by two entities. The big bullion banks associated with the LBMA (London Bullion Market Association), which sets the “spot” price of “physical SILVER” in London and the COMEX on Wall Street, that sets the “paper SILVER” price for futures trading. It's a massive derivative market used to manipulate the price, where the same physical SILVER is traded at hundreds of times its worth because most transactions NEVER demand delivery. A truly “fractional” system rampant with fraud. But suddenly something changed on the COMEX. There was a massive increase in demand for physical delivery of SILVER, instead of taking “cash.” Someone was now beginning to hoard physical SILVER. That FORCED the bullion banks in London, to start emptying their vaults and shipping large amounts of SILVER to New York vaults at the COMEX. Guess who owns the largest SILVER vault on COMEX? None other than JPM. And now we know that they were the one demanding physical delivery of SILVER as they were unloading ALL their paper contracts and hoarding physical SILVER. We have watched for months, the flow of physical SILVER leave London and head to New York. The days of the bullion banks controlling the SILVER price are over and their vaults have been emptied, which FORCED them to buy SILVER and drive the price higher. JPM, who had been in cahoots with LBMA forever, just cut the legs out from under them and caused those bullion banks to take heavy losses from their SILVER shorts. JPM trapped LBMA by demanding huge leasing rates for their SILVER supply. That FORCED them to purchase SILVER in order to fulfill orders. That's what helped to end the manipulation of the SILVER price, as JPM went fully long for the very first time. We are just finding out now, that JPM is the bank that caused all the panic at LBMA and ENDED the manipulation of SILVER. We own the most Gold and the most SILVER. This isn’t the first tranche of evidence pointing to political interference. Atop Republican senator has provided Just the News a timeline written by FBI investigators laying out the repeated political obstruction those agents faced from their own bosses and the Justice Department during the 2016 election and beyond as they probed whether Hillary Clinton engaged in a pay-to-play corruption scheme involving her family foundation. “Field agents were frustrated. But HQ would not let it go forward,” the newly-released and lengthy investigative timeline reveals. “We were trying to explore the [Clinton] Foundation, and we were told ‘NO' by FBI HQ.” Not the first timeline showing interference “Shut it down!” then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates is quoted as demanding in the shorter timeline of the politicized barriers that agents in New York City, Little Rock, Ark., and Washington D.C. reported. The shorter timeline — written by a DOJ lawyer assigned to the FBI under former bureau Director James Comey — was secured by top aides to Patel and was obtained by Just the News earlier this year. The newly-released and longer timeline was handed over to Grassley's office by the FBI along with a host of corroborating internal emails and was recently provided to Just the News. Agents struggled for years to investigate Clinton Foundation The longer timeline indicated that questions about the Clinton Foundation's potential criminality were raised as early as April 2010, when there was a “consensually-monitored call between [Redacted] Sant Singh Chatwal” during which there was a “description of conversations with foreign donors (Amar Singh, Lakshmi Mittal, Deepak Chopra, Praful Patel, Subhash Chandra) about giving to HRC.” McCabe stops the Clinton Foundation investigation from moving forward in 2016 The shorter timeline revealed that as early as February 2016, the Justice Department “indicated they would not be supportive of an FBI investigation.” The shorter timeline also shows that, in mid-February 2016, McCabe ordered that “no overt investigative steps” were allowed to be taken in the Clinton Foundation investigation “without his approval” — a command he allegedly repeated numerous times over the coming months. John Huber, Uranium One, and the continued stalling of the CF inquiry The Hill had reported in October 2017 that “before the Obama administration approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium, the FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin's atomic energy business inside the United States.” The Hill said that “federal agents used a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather extensive financial records, make secret recordings and intercept emails as early as 2009 that showed Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.” “They also obtained an eyewitness account — backed by documents — indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton's charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow,” The Hill reported. Independent U.S. Senate candidate from Idaho, Army veteran and telecom leader Todd Achilles returns to Independent Americans for a hard-charging Football Friday that cuts through the chaos. Todd and host Paul Rieckhoff break down Trump's unauthorized boat strikes and the unfolding Signalgate scandal, why Secretary Hegseth is “fundamentally unfit,” and how Congress has surrendered its War Powers as America edges toward a conflict with Venezuela. From ICE raids zip-tying kids at a rural Idaho horse track to a broken visa system that powers the state's only truly strategic industry—agriculture—Todd explains what this looks like on the ground for red hats, trucker hats, hard hats and cowboy hats across all 44 Idaho counties. He lays out a simple two-by-two matrix for understanding the Venezuela mission, why this should be a DEA and Coast Guard problem, and how misusing the military puts Idaho Guard troops and all Americans at risk. Paul and Todd go deep on why independents are the real solution to Trump, RFK Jr., Mamdani and the extremes of both parties—and how one independent veteran in the Senate could become the decisive fulcrum on confirmations, war powers and corruption. Todd details his David-vs-Goliath run against Senator Jim Risch—the fourth-oldest and one of the wealthiest members of the Senate who hasn't held an in-person town hall since 2009—and why national Republicans are suddenly “scared” of Idaho's independent wave. It's also Football Friday: Paul and Todd pick Boise State on the Smurf Turf, Texas Tech, Georgia and undefeated Indiana, and talk about why college football in Idaho is as local—and as political—as it gets.
