Badan Gizi Nasional atau BGN memberhentikan 261 pegawai yang melakukan pelanggaran.Kepala BGN Sudaryono menyebut, dari total tersebut, sebanyak 224 merupakan pegawai non-ASN dan 37 lainnya merupakan tenaga ahli.Pemberhentian ratusan pegawai ini disebut menjadi bagian dari langkah perbaikan di lingkungan Badan Gizi Nasional.

Pemberian Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) pada masa liburan sekolah terutama ditujukan kepada kelompok penerima manfaat dari kalangan ibu hamil (bumil), ibu menyusui (busui), dan balita. Dalam klasifikasi kelompok penerima MBG, mereka biasa disebut sebagai kelompok 3B. “Yang tidak libur, atau tetap diberikan MBG, dalah untuk 3B. Siapa yang mengantar? Ya seperti biasa, para petugas yang selama ini sudah berjalan,” kata Wakil Kepala Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN) bidang Komunikasi Publik dan Investigasi Nanik Sudaryati Deyang di Yogyakarta, Selasa (23/12/2025)BGN menyadari bahwa perbaikan gizi siswa perlu konsistensi. Namun, BGN pun memahami bahwa anak-anak sekolah sedang memasuki masa liburan. Maka, SPPG menawarkan kepada sekolah-sekolah penerima manfaat, jika mau menerima MBG, mereka dipersilakan mengajukannya. Hidangan MBG akan diantarkan SPPG sesui dengan permintaan sekolah, dalam bentuk makanan kering. “Jadi anak-anak tidak dipaksa harus datang ke sekolah. Silakan saja kalau makanan MBG diambil ibunya, ayahnya, atau saudaranya. Kalau misalnya sekolah tidak mau menerima, wali murid juga tidak mau, maka juga tidak apa-apa, dan tidak dipaksa,” katanya.“Jadi tidak ada yang memaksa anak-anak libur ke sekolah untuk mengambil MBG. Mohon jangan dipelintir,” tambah Ketua Pelaksana Harian Tim Koordinasi antar Kementerian dan Lembaga untuk pengelolaan program MBG itu. Nanik juga meluruskan tudingan beberapa kalangan yang mengatakan bahwa pemberian MBG di saat liburan adalah untuk menghabiskan anggaran. “Justru sebaliknya, kami menghemat anggaran luar biasa di tahun 2025. Bayangkan, anggaran MBG tahun 2025 itu 71 T, targetnya untuk 6 juta penerima manfaat yang terdiri dari anak sekolah dan 3B. Namun ternyata kami bisa memberi manfaat kepada 50 juta anak Indonesia dan kelompok 3B,” paparnya.Penghematan bisa dilakukan karena semula ada banyak dapur yang harus dibangun BGN, tapi ternyata banyak yayasan/mitra yang mau membangun dapur MBG yang disebut sebagai Dapur Mandiri. “Akhirnya cost yang dikeluarkan BGN hanya untuk program MBG 15 ribu/MBG; gaji karyawan BGN, termasuk SPPI, Ahli Gizi, dan Akuntan di tiap-tiap SPPG, yang saat ini hampir 100 ribu dan tersebar dari Sabang sampai Merauke; dan juga untuk operasional. Data yang saya sampaikan ini bisa dicek ke Kementerian Keuangan,” jelasnya.Nanik pun menegaskan bahwa Pemerintah terus bekerja keras meningkatkan gizi anak-anak Indonesia. “Pesan Pak Prabowo, tidak boleh satu anak Indonesia pun, baik (anak usia sekolah) yang berada di jalanan bila belum Sekolah Rakyat, anak-anak di pondok-pondok pesantren baik yang terdaftar di Kementerian Agama, maupun yang tidak terdaftar, semua harus dapat makan bergizi gratis,” ujar mantan wartawan senior itu Sementara itu, mengenai pemberian BGN untuk orang-orang lanjut usia dan para difable, menurut Nanik, yaitu yang akan memberikan makan gratis adalah Kementerian Sosial. “Program itu masih wacana Kemensos, jadi bukan progam BGN ya,” kata Nanik menutup penjelasannya. Keberlangsungan Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) dipastikan Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN) tetap berjalan pascabencana banjir dan longsor yang melanda sejumlah wilayah Aceh, Sumatera Utara, dan Sumatera Barat. Hal tersebut seperti disampaikan Kepala BGN Dadan Hindayana. "Penyaluran Program MBG tetap berjalan seperti pada hari aktif biasanya. Total akumulasi bantuan untuk Aceh yang tersalurkan sudah mencapai lebih dari 2,2 juta porsi," papar Dadan dalam keterangan tertulis yang diterima, Senin (29/12/2025).Di Provinsi Aceh, ada 158 Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) atau dapur MBG yang terlibat dalam proses pengalihan layanan selama masa tanggap darurat bencana. Total makanan yang telah dibagikan sebanyak 2.298.670 porsi, pada perideo 26 November hingga 27 Desember 2025. Dadan menambahkan, terdapat dua hari SPPG di sana tidak beroperasi, yakni pada 25-26 Desember. Penghentian sementara tersebut dilakukan seiring momen perayaan Natal serta dalam rangka peringatan ke-21 tahun tsunami Aceh.Meski demikian, sejumlah SPPG di Aceh Timur dan Aceh Tengah memutuskan tetap melaksanakan penyaluran MBG pada 26-27 Desember. Dan, BGN memastikan bantuan MBG terus disalurkan kepada warga terdampak melalui berbagai skema. "Kami terus mendistribusikan bantuan kepada korban banjir dan longsor, baik melalui posko maupun jemput bola langsung ke warga," tambah Dadan. Ia menuturkan, kehadiran BGN secara konsisten di tengah situasi darurat merupakan bentuk komitmen negara untuk memastikan pemenuhan gizi masyarakat tetap terjaga, sekaligus memperkuat peran MBG sebagai program yang adaptif terhadap kondisi krisis. BGN akan memperketat mekanisme penggantian sopir cadangan imbas insiden mobil MBG yang menabrak kerumunan siswa SDN 01 Kalibaru, Cilincing, Jakarta Utara pada Kamis (11/12). Kepala BGN, Dadan Hidayana mengatakan dengan adanya kasus penggantian sopir ini kelihatannya menjadi isight baru bagi BGN dan KaSPPG secara cermat mengganti atau memilih sopir cadangan yang kualifikasinya sama. Karena selama ini bahkan di dalam juknis sudah ditulis bahwa mobil sebelum digunakan untuk melakukan pengiriman itu wajib dilakukan cek setiap waktu.Kepala Biro Hukum dan Humas BGN, Khairul Hidayati menuturkan belasungkawa atas insiden ini dan memastikan kepada seluruh korban agar mendapatkan perawatan yang terbaik serta timnya akan melakukan investigasi internal bersama kepolisian untuk memastikan kejadian seperti ini tidak terulang lagi. Hida mengatakan bahwa pihaknya akan berkomitmen memperbaiki seluruh aspek terkait SOP, termasuk mekanisme penggantian sopir dan mengecek kendaraan, serta memastikan standar keamanan layanan MBG diterapkan secara maksimal, Minggu (14/12) siang.

Sebelumnya, Ketua Komisi V DPR RI Lasarus mengatakan bahwa bantuan Rp 4 miliar per kabupaten/kota terdampak bencana tidak cukup dan meminta pemerintah mengalihkan anggaran tidak terserap untuk membantu pemulihan bencana.Berkaitan dengan usulan tersebut, Kepala BGN Dadan penjelasakan bahwa hal itu menjadi kewenanganan Presiden dan secara administratif dilaksanakan oleh Menkeu. Presiden memerintahkan penguatan tata kelola Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN) sebagai tindak lanjut atas kasus keracunan massal yang terjadi dalam program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG). BGN interviews Victoria Mahoney for the Netflix film 'The Old Guard 2'. Victoria Mahoney is one of the few Black women directing a Netflix action blockbuster taking on the reigns after Gina Prince-Bythewood directed the first film. She worked as second-unit director on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and made her debut feature Yelling to the Sky. The Old Guard 2 builds on its predecessor with a darker, more urgent storyline: the stakes are personal (Andy can now die), the mythology expands (immortals' origins), and relationships are tested—from Quynh's vengeance to Joe & Nicky's bonds. With global action and new threats, the sequel aims to balance action spectacle with emotional resonance, all under Mahoney's focused direction. Dangote Petroleum Refinery l'annonce à grands coups de publicité sur les réseaux sociaux : 4 000 camions citernes, roulant au gaz naturel comprimé, seront en mesure de livrer de l'essence et du diesel à ses clients nigérians à partir du 15 août. Sécuriser des débouchés Une façon pour le raffineur privé de développer ses débouchés commerciaux au Nigeria. « Si vous êtes client de la raffinerie Dangote, on vous offrira des facilités de crédit, explique Philippe Sébille-Lopez, géopoliticien du pétrole. Vous allez commander, par exemple, 500 000 litres ou 1 million de litres, ça peut être des petits opérateurs locaux ou des petits réseaux de stations-service, comme il y en a encore. Il vise un peu tous les marchés à la fois en même temps, parce qu'il prévoit probablement une montée en puissance des capacités de raffinage et donc il faut qu'il trouve des débouchés locaux maintenant. Est-ce qu'au final Dangote a pour vocation de remplacer les trois ou quatre autres raffineries nationales de la NNPC ? C'est possible ». Ces raffineries publiques, bien qu'elles fonctionnent très mal, empiètent encore sur l'approvisionnement de la raffinerie Dangote par la compagnie nationale nigériane, la NNPC, qui, souligne le chercheur, n'a pas vraiment intérêt à lui livrer son brut. « Pour la NNPC, le plus juteux et le plus rentable, c'est évidemment d'exporter pour récolter des dollars et non de prendre une part de sa production pour aller vendre en naira à la raffinerie Dangote ». « Dans la bonne direction » Poussée par les autorités d'Abuja, la NNPC a malgré tout livré pendant six mois 300 000 barils de brut par jour à la raffinerie Dangote, en naira, la monnaie locale, pour lui éviter les risques de change. Mais c'est moins de la moitié de ses capacités. Le système demande donc à être amplifié et pérennisé pour que la raffinerie Dangote devienne rentable. « D'après les derniers chiffres que j'ai vus, on était entre 40 et 50 % de la demande qui était couverte par la raffinerie Dangote, observe Charles Thiémélé, trader chez BGN. Mais son objectif, c'est d'arriver à 80 % ou 90 %, éventuellement même jusqu'à 100 %. On n'y est pas encore. Donc ça va dans la bonne direction, mais il y a encore des négociations à mener avec le gouvernement, il y a encore du lobbying à réaliser pour que la raffinerie soit en position d'être amortie ». Car il faudra aussi, souligne le trader, résister à la concurrence des importateurs de carburant, un secteur très enraciné au Nigeria.

Va. They're in search of the provenance of the names, Elephant's Fork in Suffolk, Cuffeytown in Chesapeake, and Chic's Beach in Virginia Beach, and what those names tell us about the history and culture of the region.  The duo talk about toponymy, or the study of place names, and semiotics, the study of signs, and how those disciplines apply to their discoveries.  They share the rules and regulations involved in the official naming process. At the state level there's the Virginia Board on Geographic Names: Senior Map Archivist, Library of Virginia, 800 East Broad St. Richmond, Va. 23219; 804-692-3617; vabgn@lva.virginia.gov. Nationally, the U.S. Board on Geographic Names, BGN, was fully established in 1947; its naming conventions include allowing only 5 places nationwide to have names that include an apostrophe (Martha's Vineyard is one of them). The BGN works closely with state, tribal and local governments, as well as the general public. At Elephant's Fork the duo uncover a community recognition of the name but no understanding of how it came to be; subsequent research, including the use of the free digitized archive of Virginia newspapers, virginiachronicle.com, unearthed its origin in a giant tin elephant used to advertise the emporium of one H.J. Bowen in 1903.  Stories attached to the name included that of Mary Chapman, as recorded in Tidewater Voices,  https://digitalcommons.odu.edu/tidewatervoices, an ongoing digital archive project of Old Dominion University in Norfolk; and that of Angelo Scott, a current Suffolk resident, who recounted his perceived experience of abrupt integration as a 2nd-grader in 1971. At Cuffeytown, a historic community in Chesapeake founded by free blacks in the 1700 they recount their difficulties in finding the historic Cuffeytown cemetery, the final resting place for the Cuffeytown 13. These were Civil War veterans who fought for the Union. Crops at peak growth prevented their access. The bayfront neighborhood, officially called Chesapeake Beach, saw a flurry of real estate dealings in the early part of the 20th century and was built out by the 1960s. Local lore attributes the nickname that stuck, Chic's Beach, to one Luther ‘Chic' Ledington who operated a hot dog stand in a beachfront building until 1967.  There's so much to learn from the names we see around us daily!
