We are now just under a week away from the NHL's expansion draft and teams are starting to make moves to put themselves in a good spot before they lose a player to the Seattle Kraken. It's really just the tip of the iceberg and there are no doubt more big moves to come, so we decided to bring NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman onto the podcast to give us the latest on what he's hearing from around the league. Before getting to Friedman, Jason Gregor and Frank Seravalli talked about the big news from the past week including the Minnesota Wild buying out Ryan Suter and Zach Parise. They also touched on the goaltending market and talked about the likelihood of some big-name American-born free agents signing in Canada. With Friedman, they started by talking about the idea of tampering and how teams are potentially bending the rules a little ahead of free agency. They also got into which teams are facing the most pressure to improve themselves in the next week and which teams that are currently flying under the radar that could make a big splash.
