On today's edition of the Valenti Show, Mike and Rico tackled 3 main topics: the legitimacy of the United States' gold medal win in men's hockey following the controversial 3v3 OT rule, whether they think Michigan-Duke mattered, and if their belief in the Pistons can be extended into the playoffs.

The guys began the show sharing their frustrations regarding the 3-on-3 OT rule in the men's hockey Gold Medal game at the Winter Olympics. They discussed whether this makes the US's first gold medal since 1980 less legitimate before doing the first of "Can We Say That?" segments today.

Valenti expanded on his disdain for the state of college basketball as he gave a breakdown of Michigan-Duke.

Stoney and Rico got into the Pistons' win over the Knicks last night at Madison Square Garden to begin the second hour. They took their own temperatures before hearing from some callers and texters to get theirs. Then, Stoney had Rico blind rank the starters in the famous 1992 Duke-Michigan game.
