Shurki Wrights is present this evening to address the ongoing drama involving AJ Brown, Jalen Hurts, and the Eagles. While Shurki acknowledges that AJ Brown's frustration is understandable, he also points out that AJ is a significant factor contributing to the surrounding noise within the team. Although the situation is not solely AJ's responsibility, his actions are amplifying the distractions for the Eagles. Joining the discussion is OJ Spivey, who shares his insights on the unfolding drama. Additionally, the conversation shifts to Jaelen Phillips, who has made an immediate impact on the defense since his arrival from Miami. The dialogue then transitions to the recent successes of the 76ers and Flyers, both of whom secured impressive victories last night. Tyrese Maxey's remarkable performance, scoring 54 points, positions him as a frontrunner for the MVP award as he continues to lead the Sixers. Meanwhile, the Flyers triumphed over the Blues with an overtime goal, leaving Shukri with a renewed sense of optimism about the team's prospects.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

It's Friday, November 21st, and Norm Hitzges is just wondering if this might actually be the perfect time for the Cowboys to catch the Eagles. With All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson sidelined and the Philly offensive line suddenly mortal, Norm digs into just how much one lineman has meant to a franchise that's gone 96–41 with him and 12–23 without him. He walks through the Eagles' strange season: a defense that grew up faster than expected, an offense stuck in the mud, whispers about Jalen Hurts, and yet a ridiculous 51–14 record with Hurts under center since 2022. Then Norm turns his attention back home: the Cowboys sitting at 4-5-1, a brutal three-game gauntlet of Eagles, Chiefs, and Lions on deck, and Vegas setting the over/under for Dallas wins at just 6.5. Is there really a playoff run in there, or is this just another year of “maybe next time”? Along the way, you'll hear from show partners Fluent Financial, Bob's Steak & Chop House, and Full Moon Healing Balm, and get the full Norm treatment: perspective, numbers, and just enough optimism to keep you watching on Sunday. The Philadelphia Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday at 4:25, why Marc thinks the Eagles will STILL win the game despite the Eagles continued offensive struggles. Also, AJ Brown defends himself from the "he's lost a step" argument while throwing another teammate under the bus. The 76ers beat the Bucks 123-114 as Tyrese Maxey EXPLODED for 54pts, 16 of those points coming in the 4th quarter. The 94 WIP Morning Show wonders if AJ Brown really has lost a step. Hear audio from Ross Tucker, earlier this week, explaining why he believes AJ has lost a step. In his press availability yesterday, AJ Brown mostly seemed like he wanted to move on from the drama- he moved past questions regarding the drama and wanted to talk about the Dallas game. However, when he was asked if he felt as though he lost a step, he brought Saquon into the conversation in an interesting answer.
The guys got together the night of Jets-Patriots...and Josh had some serious HATE to get off his chest
Today's 94 WIP Midday Show is debating whether or not this Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys is a trap game for the Eagles. Joe Giglio believes that it is a trap game, while Hugh Douglas thinks otherwise. AJ Brown was asked more questions about himself and the offense, and made some interesting comments regarding Saquon Barkley and Kevin Patullo. Jalen Hurts has not been featured in the run game as often as he has in recent years, and there is conversations of whether he should start running more. It certainly appears that the Eagles do not necessarily view the Cowboys as a different game, dismissing the idea that it is a rivalry. Based on the referee assignment, the Eagles could be saved this Sunday. Kyle Schwarber is seemingly trying to link himself with his hometown Cincinnati Reds in free agency. Listen in the last hour for this week's edition of Guess the Takes, and today's segment of You People.
In hour 2, the 94 WIP Midday Show are continuing to discuss Eagles-Cowboys this Sunday. AJ Brown had media availability on Thursday and gave more insights into his mindset on his season and the offense. Hugh Douglas thinks that Brown is trying to help the team and make them better, but his message is getting lost in translation. Jalen Hurts' role in the run offense has decreased significantly this season and Joe Giglio wants to see him run more starting against the Cowboys. Hurts could potentially be running less because he and the coaching staff want to protect him and keep him healthy.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are reviewing AJ Brown's media availability from Thursday, and he had some more answers in regards to himself and the state of the Eagles offense. He disagrees with the notion that he is not the same player that he used to be. He also redirected a question on the offense to Kevin Patullo. Hugh Douglas speculates that Brown is continuing to put the struggles on Jalen Hurts who appears to be playing too conservative. He also says that fans continue to be frustrated at Brown's actions because it is reminding them of the drama with Terrell Owens from the early 2000's.

HOPING TO MAKE ENOUGH SENSE OF THIS AJ BROWN/JALEN HURTS MESS TO SAVE SOME FOCUS ON EAGLES/COWBOYS. GUEST: OJ SPIVEY, Philadelphia Tribune
The Eagles continue to win football games no matter how it looks, akin to the McNabb teams that just got it done. The difference is, this group has a Lombardi already. At 8-2, holding tiebreakers over every legitimate NFC contender, they head to Dallas for a divisional showdown on Sunday with a Cowboys team clinging to their proverbial Playoff life. After two weeks playing tough football in the elements at Lambeau and Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles will suit up in a controlled environment at Jerry World, with their defense playing the best ball of the season, and an offense which has been battered and verbally assualted all week long, by the media, fans, and former players. The Jalen Hurts degradation persists despite him holding the highest passer rating among NFL Starting QBs on 3rd down, against the blitz, and subsequently posting the best TD/INT ratio in the NFL. Hurts does not make many mistakes that cost the team possessions and in his tenure, the team is 32-0 when they win the turnover battle in games he starts and finishes. Undefeated. The Sixers have promise and some depth, but they are not Championship contenders. The team is clearly Tyrese Maxey's team now, fresh off the heels of a 54-point performance in Milwaukee. The Embiid Era is over. Segments include: VetPhact, The Tek 10, Prem's NFL Picks. Courtesy of the Vet Alumni Members Association (VAMA)

The NFL's WK11 action is in the books and the playoff picture is starting to take shape. Chris, Beau, Nate and the fellas breakdown the games from Sunday's slate and react to today's playoff standings. The jalen Hurts and AJ Brown overcame their offensive woes as the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Detroit Lions. Jared Goff couldn't find a rhythm, Dan Campbell was stumped on 4th down and the Eagles defense dominated. The Buffalo Bills, led by a dominating performance from Josh Allen, got back to their winning ways with a victory over Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos stopped Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs offense in their tracks. And the offensive output that was expected from the Seattle Seahawks and LA Rams never came but Matthew Stafford still led his team to victory over Sam Darnold. A great Sunday of football that makes the playoff picture that much clearer (or muddier). It's the NFL week 11 previews. We've got a full house in Studio J to talk ball and have some fun. Chris, Beau, Macon, Nate and Nolan all rock and roll on the NFL's WK11 slate. We spend most of our time breaking down the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Detroit Lions. Dan Campbell and Nick Sirianni will make this one hell of a game. We'll see if AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts can get on the same page this week. We also do deep dives into the Seattle Seahawks vs LA Rams and the Kansas City Chiefs vs Denver Broncos.
