Dianna Russini is reporting that the Steelers open for business in regards to George Pickens, if it can get the Steelers back into the 2nd round. We also reacted to the sad news with Derrick Harmon, whose mom passed away last night after receiving word he was drafted. GIVEAWAY. Audibles & Analytics podcast host Jon Ledyard joined the show. Jon didn't love the immediate Derrick Harmon comp to Cam Heyward, but he really likes the pick. He said Harmon has a very high floor who will be a borderline elite one in this draft. The guys asked Jon how early Harmon can fit into this defense from the jump. Jon said he would have taken Matthew Golden if Harmon was unavailable at 21 and he didn't have the option to trade down. Jon applauded the Steelers for not jumping on a QB that didn't warrant a 1st round pick last night like the mistake they made a few years ago. Jon described this draft as a ‘dart throw quarterback class' because it lacks strength behind the top guy. Jon doesn't think the Steelers get more than a 3rd round pick for George Pickens, unless a team is very dumb or desperate. Jon's guess for the next two picks are RB and QB, but not necessarily in that order.
