In this episode we interviewed Vivi Grieco, a first year as St. Catherine University. During her time on the SisterStory project, she worked with Sister Barbra Brooks, BVM, who is the current library cataloger at St. Kate's. What's the best part of this interview? In this episode we interviewed Ellyse VanderKamp from Aquinas College in Michigan. She worked with Sister Joan Thomas, OP, a Dominican Sister. My favorite quote from this interview is when Ellyse talks about the assumptions she had when she came into this project. She says that these ideas started to change when her sister told her, "if you've met one sister, you know exactly one sister." In this episode we interviewed Bridget Barrett, a first year at St. Catherine University. Bridget worked with Sr. Joan Groschen, a CSJ of the St. Paul Provence. As Bridget and Sr. Joan got to know each other they realized that they shared a lot of similarities in their lives as college students. A student at St. Catherine University who participated in the SisterStory project as a student oral historian in the Fall of 2014. During her semester Jawana was paired with Sister Jill Underdahl, CSJ, M.A. and built a really important relationship that expanded her mind greatly and taught her much about who sisters are and what they have done. She was also able to learn and experiment with film equipment that provided the opportunity to try out new ideas and create a unique film about her semester.
