This week on End Credits, we've got a lot things going on. The movie choice this week, The House on Netflix, combines three different stories under one banner, so we're basically doing three movies in one. And speaking of movies that have more than one movie, we're going to run down a list of other movies that have several different movies in them. This Wednesday, January 26, at 3 pm, Adam A. Donaldson and Tim Phillips will discuss: A Segment in 6 Parts. This week's pick is an anthology, which is kind of a rarity in the movie business; a movie that's made up of different short movies, sometimes with a different director for each segment. Before we get into The House, we will talk about some of the other anthologies you can find across the streaming sites, from stories about love in Paris, to Halloween tales, and several fun conversations around coffee and cigarettes. REVIEW: The House (2022). This is a movie with three different stories about the same house, lovingly crafted in the nearly lost art of stop motion animation. London's Nexus Studios produced The House, which contains three tales that span different styles, different time periods, and different anthropomorphized animals or humans. Featuring the voice talents of Matthew Goode, Helena Bonham Carter, Mia Goth, and Jarvis Cocker, The House can be spooky, it can be funny, and it can be strange, but is the movie any good? We'll see. End Credits is on CFRU 93.3 fm and cfru.ca Wednesday at 3 pm.

Marvel drops the mic when they release the Captain Marvel footage we have all been begging for. That released the floodgates of trailers that were waiting to burst with other looks at Mary Poppins, Doctor Who, Wreck-It Ralph, and DareDevil. All this and the weekly things we found interesting. è Review: The House of Prayer; the Heart (purpose) of Prayer; the Partnership with the Father; the Agenda to render prayer powerless (orphan, distant view) Psalm 139; Ephesians 1:3-7; Hebrews 13:5; John 17:23, 26 è The Revelation of His Authority (Philippians 2:9-11; Ephesians 1:18-23; Colossians 2:14, 15 • Matthew 28:18-20 …. Revelation of authority before assignment (Luke 10:17, 19; Mark 16:17) è FAITH: Authority Released …. Mark 11:22-25 • Practical coaching • Align (connect) and Enforce. Remember: you are connected to the Kingdom of God. In prayer, you are invading the kingdom of darkness. In Christ, you have the authority but must Connect (commit the issue to His Lordship) and, then, Engage the issue (Proclaim). There is ground to be taken! • More examples of ground to be taken or defended:  Inner atmosphere of mind, emotions  Home atmosphere; work atmosphere  Travel; lodging • Is this overboard? See Ephesians 6:18; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Philippians 4:6 • See Matthew 16:13-19 Examples: Where are you broken? Where is the need, adverse situations, struggle, desires? • Recognize and commit it totally to Him. • Proclaim the promises (authority) of His Word over the situation. • Trust Him with the results. è Covering Prayer: What is it? The prayers of spiritual oversight or prayer partners on your behalf. • The heart of the matter: shepherding; watching over another (feeding, leading, encouraging, protecting) è Examples: Old Testament priests and prophets were often consulted, even by kings in difficult life situations; Jesus (John 17); Paul repeatedly in his letters to churches and pastors; John in John 3:2 è Revelation; protection; deeper personal knowledge of Him; health; prosperity; well-being; spiritual transfer of gifting and power. è Are you under spiritual covering??? (1 Thessalonians 5:12, 13; Hebrews 13:16, 17) è Impartation to you! (See Revelation 1:5, 6)
