After the off chance of competing in our first powerlifting competition together, Richard and I have become good friends that share the same passion as one another. We chat all things post-university, break-ups and dive into his current situation at home; a story that needs to be recognised and respected due to the sheer hard work and love that he demonstrates for his family. I have the utmost respect for Richard and the way he handles himself and I want everyone to know how resilient he is. Breaking In A Sequence is an Alternative Metal/Hard Rock band hailing from the city of Huntington Beach, California. Formed in 2018, Breaking In A Sequence features none other than legendary musician and ex-Korn member, David Silveria, on the drums. Their music packs an intensively hard punch and employs a beautiful mix of heavy guitar playing combined with melodic vocals and groovy drum and bass lines. In this interview, I sat down with the guys to discuss everything from the foundation of their band, the worldwide search of their leader singer Richard Nguyen, right up to the recent release of their latest EP Acronym. We also discussed the nature of today's music industry, the relevance of record labels, the importance of management, as well as their thoughts on today's musical streaming services. I had a lot of fun interviewing these guys! This interview will leave you feeling inspired and ready to pursue your own music-career goals! Never stop trying! You can find Breaking in a Sequences' music on all musical platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube, and anywhere else music is found! Be sure to catch them at a venue near you! Breaking In A Sequence hits the road this month of October 2021 for a U.S. tour.LIKE WHAT YOU HEAR?
