The first is characterized by grandiosity, preoccupations with limitless power, beliefs in his own special purpose that no one else understands, entitlement, exploitation of others, lack of empathy, and arrogance. “Megalomaniac” fits well here. The second is characterized by repeated law-breaking, aggressiveness, and lack of remorse.”Initial diagnosis would be schizophrenia for his appeared delusional conceptions.Intervention: Talking about the killing his daughter –“So I wonder if your internal unrest stems first from the confusion and unfamiliarity of truly loving someone, and second from how that love (and its loss, at your own hand no less) deters from the triumph of realizing your dream. Does that fit?”Reply: “Love…” he said, voice dripping with indignation. “You're saying that's what's bothering me, what tears my soul and keeps me from sleeping? Love has always been irrelevant,” he paused. “Though, it was apparently useful for gaining the Soul Stone.” His huge shoulders sagged. “My heart broke when I lost her, my little one, my fighter. But, in that moment, I thought it would be worth it, a worthy exchange, one she would have willingly died for if she truly understood me, if she could truly see the paradise I saw, the paradise I was creating.”His narcissism was kicking up again here. I decided to go with it, connect with as much love as was there, but also wrap in his self-admiration.“Long ago you had seen, in this struggling little girl on a dying planet, the fighter, the determination, the defiance in the face of the enemy. You had seen yourself in her. And you raised her to be your little one, even a little you. She became a part of you.” His eyes widened with these statements, some truth clicking into place for him.“You thought, after killing her, after destroying a living, breathing, beautiful piece of yourself, that it would be worth it.” I paused, then asked softly, “Was it worth it?”Outcome:I still don't know if what Thanos felt was love, which requires something fundamentally antithetical to someone with APD: empathy. Did he mourn out of guilt for ending the life of a person he loved and cared for, a person whose happiness and wellbeing he valued? Or did he only feel regret because he projected onto her an image of himself, and his narcissistic pride could not fathom why he might intentionally harm anything that was his? Is empathy, the ability to deeply understand and feel another's emotions, really any different from seeing ourselves in another person?Premise of DiscussionWhat might be psychologically wrong with Thanos? The filmmaker, who directed Shang-Chi, one of the biggest movies of 2021, was already an up-and-coming director before joining the Marvel universe. Now, it seems he will spend a little time there over the next few years, while also developing programming for Hulu and Disney+. In addition to his as-yet-unknown MCU Disney+ show, Cretton has another comic book adaptation set up at the streamer, although it's not what you might expect. The filmmaker recently announced a series based on former Action Comics writer Gene Luen Yang's acclaimed YA graphic novel American Born Chinese. "Destin is a powerhouse storyteller with impeccable taste in material. As we continue to expand our roster, Destin's unique voice will help usher in an exciting slate of content for our global audience," said Tara Duncan, President, Freeform & Onyx Collective, in a statement (via Deadline). "Destin is an amazing collaborator who brought a unique perspective and skill to Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings," said Kevin Feige, President, Marvel Studios and Chief Creative Officer. "We had a fantastic time working together on the film and he has so many intriguing ideas for stories to bring to life on Disney+, so we're thrilled to expand our relationship with him and can't wait to get started." "Working on Shang-Chi with Kevin and the Marvel Studios team was one of the highlights of my life, and I couldn't be more excited about Tara's vision for Onyx Collective," Cretton added. "I can't wait to explore new stories and build new worlds with this community." In Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings, Shang-Chi must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. The movie stars Liu alongside Awkwafina, Michelle Yeoh, Ben Kingsley, and Benedict Wong. Shang-Chi is in some theaters now, having broken box office records over Labor Day Weekend and become one of the highest grossing films of 2021, and also available on Disney+. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer https://twitter.com/SonyAnimation/status/1467294398413262850 RUMOR: Ant-Man 3 Turns an Established MCU Villain Into MODOK https://www.cbr.com/ant-man-3-turns-yellowjacket-into-modok/ A new rumor claims a long-absent MCU villain will return and be transformed into M.O.D.O.K. in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Two rumors about Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania have merged into a new report claiming an existing Marvel Cinematic Universe villain will return as M.O.D.O.K. According to GWW, Corey Stoll will not only come back in the third Ant-Man film but the former Yellowjacket will transform into the MCU's M.O.D.O.K. Stoll was the villain in the first Ant-Man, with the finale seeing him shrink down to the Quantum Realm. Fans have long wondered if he could return, seeing as Janet Van Dyne, Hank Pym, and Scott Lang have all gone in and come back out. And earlier this year, a rumor emerged that Stoll would appear in Quantumania. Obviously, it seemed likely that Stoll would play the same character again, especially after a Yellowjacket Easter egg appeared in Loki. But if the rumor is true, then it seems Darren Cross' time in the Quantum Realm will transform him into the live-action M.O.D.O.K., a villain long rumored to arrive in the MCU. What makes the potential change more intriguing is that another rumor recently claimed Jim Carrey would play M.O.D.O.K. That rumor said he was likely to appear on She-Hulk and other Disney+ shows, but it also noted there was a chance the character would debut in Ant-Man 3. The throughline to both rumors, of course, is that M.O.D.O.K. will soon join the MCU, and it also seems safe to assume that Stoll will play some sort of role in Quantumania. This wouldn't be the first time that a long-absent villain returned to the MCU in a new form. The Red Skull seemingly perished in 2011's Captain America: The First Avengers after picking up the Tesseract/Space Stone only to reappear in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War as the guardian of the Soul Stone on Vormir. Outside of this twist, Marvel Studios also regularly tweaks comic book source material to fit into the universe of the films and TV shows. Considering how unusual of a character M.O.D.O.K. is, having an existing villain mutated by a parallel dimension isn't hard to imagine. And the Yellowjacket suit could easily be warped into M.O.D.O.K.'s similar yellow armor. For now, however, all of these are simply rumors until more concrete info about Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania arrives ahead of its July 28, 2023 release date. DISNEY+ Kevin Feige Confirms Daredevil Casting In The MCU, And Fans Will Be Pumped https://www.cinemablend.com/interviews/kevin-feige-confirms-daredevil-casting-in-the-mcu-and-fans-will-be-pumped https://www.cbr.com/charlie-cox-mcu-daredevil-confirmed/ Over the years, certain actors have grown to become synonymous with the Marvel character they were hired to play. Robert Downey Jr. IS Tony Stark. Chris Evans has claimed the fabric of Steve Rogers. Some roles can get recast, like Edward Norton handing Hulk to Mark Ruffalo, or Don Cheadle replacing Terrence Howard. But many lay claim to their character, and that's final. This is how many MCU fans feel about Charlie Cox and his portrayal of the blind attorney Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil. There have been calls to bring Cox over to the MCU and allow him to keep playing the Man Without Fear… and it seems like Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has been listening. The man behind the machine that is the MCU sat down with CinemaBlend recently, and fielded out questions about Daredevil, and the character's potential in the MCU now that his Netflix show has run its course. It'd be a shame NOT to feature Daredevil in either a Marvel feature or a Disney+ show, and we asked Feige what he thought about Charlie Cox being able to stay in the part. To our surprise, the usually covert Kevin Feige confirmed the news that so many fans will want to hear when he told CinemaBlend: “If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.” Kevin Feige still kept some cards close to his vest with regards to the future of Daredevil when it comes to a concrete timeline, but those who loved Charlie Cox's portrayal of the character can rejoice in knowing that he will return to Hell's Kitchen at some point and patrol the streets on behalf of the neighborhood's citizens. And in light of a number of shows that have been developing, bringing Daredevil over makes more sense than it might have when the Netflix show ran its course. For instance, Hawkeye on Disney+ just introduced the character of Echo, a deaf warrior with connections to Wilson Fisk, aka The Kingpin. And Daredevil has been a consistent thorn in Fisk's side for decades in the comics. There have been rumors that Vincent D'Onofrio, also from the Netflix Daredevil show, is about to show up on Hawkeye, so pitting Cox against his former co-star is a natural progression. If Marvel Studios only wanted to explore the legal aspects of Matt Murdock, who is as powerful in a courtroom as he is in a darkened alley, then Daredevil could be a natural fit on She-Hulk, another Disney+ show that's in production now that will introduce audiences to Jennifer Walters (Tatiyana Maslany), yet another superpowered citizen who practices law. Why was this such a common things at Marvel Comics over the years? Charlie Cox's take on Matt Murdock and Daredevil was incredibly popular with Marvel fans, and an improvement over Ben Affleck's efforts in a doomed Daredevil movie that cast MCU rock star Jon Favreau as Foggy Nelson. We will see how many Netflix players follow Charlie Cox to the MCU if and when he arrives, but according to Kevin Feige, it's happening, and we know that fans will be overjoyed. Will Daredevil's Deborah Ann Woll Return to the MCU? Kingpin Actor Shares His Thoughts https://thedirect.com/article/daredevil-deborah-ann-woll-mcu-kingpin-return Vincent D'Onofrio Urges MCU Fans: Don't Forget Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page https://www.cbr.com/vincent-donofrio-urges-mcu-fans-dont-forget-deborah-ann-woll-karen-page/ Hawkeye's Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld Learned Sign Language for Alaqua Cox https://www.cbr.com/hawkeye-jeremy-renner-hailee-steinfeld-alaqua-cox-asl/ Hawkeye's Alaqua Cox says co-stars Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld learned American Sign Language to help her feel welcome on the show's set. Hawkeye actor Alaqua Cox revealed in a new interview that co-stars Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld made her feel welcome on the show's set by learning American Sign Language (ASL). "It was such an honor to work with them both," Cox, who portrays Maya Lopez/Echo, told D23 Magazine. "I think they are spectacular actors, and I have learned a lot from watching them work behind the scenes." While Cox admitted she was incredibly nervous on her first day of filming the Disney+ series, she added that Renner immediately made her feel at home. "I remember meeting Jeremy on my first day of work on-set; I was a nervous wreck, as this was my very first acting job," she explained. "He then complimented me in American Sign Language (ASL), which comforted me." The actor also shared that Steinfeld, who portrays Kate Bishop in the series, spelled out her name in ASL while they were doing stunt training sessions, noting, "I thought it was sweet of them putting in efforts to learn basic ASL to communicate with me. It means a lot to me as a Deaf person." In addition to speaking about the kindness of her co-stars, Cox praised Marvel Studios for continuing to make diversity a priority in its film and television projects. "I'm amazed with Marvel because they are doing such a great job with diversity and representation… It means so much to me because I feel like kids with all types of cultures and disabilities deserve to have more role models that look like them, to inspire and empower the next generation," the actor explained. "I'm so grateful to have this opportunity because I am one of the examples…" The actor also recently detailed what it was like landing the role of Echo as her first-ever acting gig, noting that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige broke the news by doing the deaf clap -- where you wave both your hands -- over Zoom. "I was like, 'What's going on?' and they said, 'Welcome to the Marvel family!'" she recalled. Created by David Mack and Joe Quesada, Maya Lopez/Echo first appeared in Daredevil #9 (1999) and is known as one of the few Native American and deaf comic book characters. Her powers include photographic reflexes, which give her the ability to mimic the movements of other people. While Cox recently made her debut as Echo in Hawkeye, Marvel Studios already confirmed the actor will reprise the role in an upcoming spinoff series titled Echo for Disney+. She-Hulk Reportedly Talks to MCU Boss Kevin Feige in Her Disney+ Show https://www.cbr.com/disney-plus-she-hulk-fourth-wall-kevin-feige/ https://twitter.com/shehuIkupdates/status/1468036322979979264? A new report indicates that the upcoming Tatiana Maslany-led Disney+ She-Hulk series will feature a major trope associated with the Jade Giantess. A new report claims the upcoming She-Hulk TV series on Disney+ will see Jennifer Walters breaking the fourth wall with Marvel Studios President/Marvel Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige. According to the She Hulk Updates Twitter account, insider KC Walsh revealed on the Straight Outta Gotham podcast that "one of the breaking moments" in the show would be Jen speaking to Feige. This follows a report from July claiming She-Hulk would see Jen break the fourth wall, much like her comic book counterpart. Fittingly, the tweet includes a picture of the cover to 1989's The Sensational She-Hulk #1, which features She-Hulk talking to the reader by threatening to come to their house and destroy their X-Men comics if they fail to "buy [her] book this time." Little is known about She-Hulk at the time, though it's rumored that the series will set up a "World War Hulk" movie, and Feige previously confirmed it was a half-hour legal comedy consisting of 10 episodes. "It's about six hours of content," Feige said when discussing Disney+'s initial slate of Marvel content. "Sometimes that'll be six episodes, sometimes that'll be nine episodes, in the case of WandaVision. Sometimes that'll be 10 episodes. You basically have 10 half-hour episodes, which is what She-Hulk ... will be. It all varies based on the story that we're telling and only based on the story that we're telling." It's also been rumored that Krysten Ritter and Charlie Cox will reprise their respective roles as Jessica Jones and Daredevil from the characters' self-titled Netflix series, though Cox may be playing a different version of the character. As for the Jade Giantess herself, Tatiana Maslany recently discussed how Marvel Studios is bringing her character to life. "It's all CG... I'm in mo-cap the whole time," she explained. "I'm on platforms with mo-cap where I have a little head on the top of my head..." These comments came after a first look at She-Hulk was revealed on Disney+ Day, though the footage only featured Jen from behind. However, it also included Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner, still in his Smart Hulk guise. The two of them will be joined by the similarly returning Abomination, played once again by Tim Roth. FEEDBACK [51:16] TWITTER https://twitter.com/Starsaber_222/status/1468981733320273924 Consultant Black Adam ✵ @Starsaber_222 @LegendsofSHIELD I am now pre-emptively accepting the retcon that (if she was a SHIELD agent) Laura was Bobbi's SO and passed the Mockingbird codename down to Bobbi when she left to start a family. E-MAIL Oh8four to stargatepioneer Hey all! Okay, after getting through the amazing episode 4, I have a theory, and I kinda hate myself for it. The watch that they're after would supposedly expose the identity of someone close to Clint. I think the person he's protecting is his wife, Laura. Now here's why I hate this, because I'm pretty sure I know who she's going to be, and it would be a final nail in the Agents of Shield Canon-coffin. I've headcanoned my way through so much, with the season 5 Thanos fiasco and time jumps in both the show and the movies that don't quite work work with each other, but what I won't be able to headcanon is this: Laura Barton is also an ex-spy, specifically Barbara Morse, aka Mockingbird, the wife/ex-wife of Clint in the comics and the amazing character played by Adrienne Palicki in Agents of Shield. And she would be the first Marvel TV character to be recast and brought into the MCU completely rebooted. But all that said, I would love it so much. Sorry, fellow AoS Lovers, I'll see myself out. Today Chris and Daniel recap episode 9 of MARVEL's What If...? This episode is titled "What If... the Watcher Broke His Oath?" Summary: The Watcher recruits Strange-Supreme, Captain Carter, Star-Lord T'Challa, "Party" Thor, Black Panther Killmonger, and a Gamora variant who killed Thanos[a] from their respective universes to battle Ultron. Ultron confronts them in a universe lacking intelligent life, where T'Challa steals the Soul Stone. Strange teleports in a zombie horde, including Wanda Maximoff, who Ultron overpowers. The team goes to Ultron's home universe, meeting Natasha Romanoff. Ultron follows, restarting the battle, where Gamora's Infinity Crusher device fails to destroy the Infinity Stones as they are from a different universe. Carter helps Romanoff shoot Ultron with an arrow containing Arnim Zola's mind. Zola wipes Ultron's mind and takes over Ultron's body. Killmonger steals the Infinity Stones for himself, but Zola fights him over them. Strange and the Watcher seal Killmonger and Zola in a pocket dimension, which Strange agrees to watch over. The Watcher returns Strange, Carter, T'Challa, Gamora, and Thor to their respective universes. Romanoff refuses to return to hers, so the Watcher brings her to one in which the Avengers candidates were assassinated,[b] where she helps defeat Loki. In a mid-credits scene, Carter and her universe's Romanoff discover the Hydra Stomper armor with someone inside.

We have to talk about Steve Rogers' MCU story and what he did with those Gems! He started off as just a kid from Brooklyn who didn't know how to stay down, and eventually grew into one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Then at the end of the film, The Super Soldier embarked on a dangerous mission: return all the gems the Avengers had taken from the timeline and put them back exactly how he found them so as not to destroy reality. That's just as big of an undertaking as stopping Thanos don't you think? We know he accomplished his goal, as evidenced by Old Man Cap, but we robbed a chance to ever see how exactly this unfolded. Because let's be honest, a lot of this seemed impossible for one guy to do! Because yes, he could return things like the Mind Stone and the Reality Stone, but not in the way they originally came. How will that affect things in those timelines? Would Cap stick around to help since he's sorta responsible for the mess? And how exactly did he plan to return the Power Stone and the Soul Stone? It's not like he would have a handy dandy spaceship right? Well, there might have been a clever workaround for this and it probably involves the Space stone! So check out today's video all about the untold, unseen adventure about The First Avenger returning all the gems to their proper timelines. After you're done, be sure to hit that big like and subscribe button for more awesome CBR content like this. And hey, I've heard if you leave a comment, then Disney+ might make this adventure into an animated series! Ok, that's not necessarily true, but we can dream, right? RUN This week we completed the last 2 runs in our 60k Gauntlet Challenge from the Medal Chasers website. This is a series of 10k runs for each infinity stone in the medal. This virtual race series benefits the Pinky Swear Foundation that supports children and their families fighting childhood cancer. This week we fought through the increasing humidity and heat that signals the start of Florida summer to earn those last two infinity stones. This week, we are lucky to be joined by Bill and Kristina Craig, owners of Medal Chasers. We talk about their passion for running and what brought them to providing these virtual races for their fellow runners. We are on the waiting list for another one of their virtual challenges that looks amazing! From fun runs that benefit running clubs to virtual races that support a variety of charities near and dear to their hearts, Medal Chasers Bill and Kristina provide creatively designed medals and race bibs that you should check out! Plus they offer a My Race My Pace Medal Chasers group on Facebook for everyone to share their accomplishments and support each other in fitness endeavors, whether they are Medal Chasers events or not. Thank you to both of them for taking time to talk with us! EAT This week, we highlight a local breakfast spot, Perk & Brew that we went to when Aimee finished her final two 10Ks to complete the Gauntlet Challenge! Now that the local restaurants are able to seat 25% capacity inside, we went to check this little place out. It felt like a little vacation spot that we’d find if we were traveling. You know, the kind of little cafe where locals go to get great coffee and a hearty breakfast. The coffee was tasty and warm, plus the Egg Sandwich with fruit or sub tots for a $1.50 more was so tasty! You choose your bread, type of cheese, and meat. We got croissant, with bacon, and cheddar or pepper jack. Croissant is the way to go for the type of bread. It was buttery and flaky, while the cheddar added that salty note on top of warm scrambled eggs, and finally the smoky and crisp bacon made the perfect breakfast bite. DRINK Paul Cottrell, a leading local distiller and cocktail wizard joins us to create the final two fantastic drinks representing each infinity stone we earned. The time stone rum cocktail and the soul stone gin cocktail wrap it all up for us. Paul is a talented drink wizard who shows us creative drinks to celebrate our accomplishments. He first joined us last year for National Mojito Day 2019 and you can check him out on the Run Eat Drink Podcast Quick Bite #78. The Time Stone 1 oz spiced rum .5 oz triple sec (optional) 1 oz midori (melon liqueur) .5 oz lemon juice 2.5 oz coconut water (You could also add some juice to this like orange or grapefruit as long as it equals 2.5 oz. You may need more melon liqueur for the color if you do so.) Shake and strain into an old fashioned glass with ice. The Soul Stone 2 oz gin 1.5 oz orange juice 1 oz passion fruit juice (If you can’t find it, it is not required. You could just do 2.5 oz orange juice.) .25 oz lemon juice .25 oz lime juice Bitters Grenadine (Red Skull presentation) Lemon lime soda (Red Skull presentation) Shake and serve in a stemmed cocktail glass for classic drink. For The Red Skull presentation, you shake first. Take a tall glass and put a small layer of grenadine in the bottom. Then fill with ice and strain drink in, with the goal to keep them separated. Top with lemon lime soda once done. THAT’S A WRAP! If you love what you hear, now, you can become a patron and support the show! 0:22 Steve CarleyHey Sean, big fan of the show. Figured I'd make this one quick: Any other young directors out there you'd like to see helm a Marvel movie?7:16 Ben LarsonHi Sean. Quick DC question for you here. Let's say you've just been appointed head of the DC cinematic universe. What are 3 things you'd do to try and build an extended DC cinematic universe going forward? Feels like they're at a crossroads as a franchise right now. Cheers!12:44 Alex WardWould you rather be one of the Vanished or one of those who survived the first snap?17:23 Matt GilbertHi Sean. I agree that Robert Downey's Oscar is long overdue, and I support your assertion that he should at least be nominated if not win. However, I would also like to see Chris Evans recognized somehow. He took a character that could easily have been played as a two-dimensional pretty boy patriot, and gave him a ton of heart and humanity. What is the best way to give both of these actors the recognition they deserve?23:13 Ronald AcostaHey Sean! One of my favorite stories from the 90s era was the X-Men Ghost Rider crossover involving the Brood. Always thought it would've made a fun story to see adapted into live action. Do you have any underrated or deep cut Marvel storylines you'd like to see adapted into the MCU?28:03 Ronald AcostaAlso with all the talk of The Black Widow movie taking place in multiple eras IE the red room and also after Civil War, do you think this is Marvel Studios way of possibly introducing storylines with established characters in future movies that take place in between the infinity saga that might not have otherwise fit into the saga as a whole? If so, I think it would be a great way of getting more iconic team-ups such as Cap, Black Widow and Wolverine or Wolverine Vs Hulk or even Reed Richards/Tony Stark flashbacks etc. what are your thoughts?33:42 Oni OmoregieHello, Sean. There have been recent reports that Marvel is looking into ways to introduce Deadpool into the MCU. Spider-Man or a new solo film are just two. How do you think Deadpool will be introduced?38:47 Woo S! KimPlease do not misunderstand me, I think it was awful what occurred with James Gunn and I am glad he is working with Marvel Studios once more, however do you think “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume Three” being taken off the schedule for 2020 could have a been a blessing in disguise because now with only two films in cinemas in 2020 for Marvel Studios, there may be more attention on the Disney Plus series' do you think this will be the case next year why or why not? Related to this, has it been confirmed yet of how many series will come out in 2020 and do you believe Sean there will be one Marvel Studios series or two released on Disney Plus in 2020? 43:54 Woo S! KimWhy do you believe the Marc Webb Spider-Man films, do not get the bile from Marvel True Believers that “Fant4stic” does? The reason I ask is people who are hardcore Marvel fans and people who are just people that like seeing films in a cinema, often forget, don't know, or just don't care that if not for Marc Webb's films Spider-Man films Spidey would have come home to Marvel a lot sooner than he did and we wouldn't have had to worry about brands continuing sharing agreements.51:19 Mike GonyeaHey Sean hope all is well, I had a thought about the Black Widow movie. What if the movie dives into the Soul Stone and what happens after she sacrifices herself. The film will also go through her past and be a big part, if not the larger part of the film as a whole. But I was thinking this would be a great opportunity for the MCU to dive into what the Soul Stone is all about. Do you think that would be too much to fit into the Black Widow movie? Or will Marvel give her a proper solo film and move away from the stones for now? Thank you for your time ✌54:44 Mookie JohnsonDo you think the Black Widow movie includes some kind of funeral or memorial service for her since Endgame didn't have one?57:25 Giuseppe VicarettiHey Sean and fellow Patrons, my question for you this time is, when we see Thor again do you want to see him back in shape or trying to get back into shape? I feel like with everything that happened to Thor in Infinity War and Endgame, the belly was a good way to show that a guy like Thor can go through PTSD. What I want is to see him try tho being his old self back. What say you?1:00:06 Mike GonyeaHey Sean, 2 questions/thoughts about Thanos. What do you think was the 'one' time Thanos ignored his destiny before? The other thought I had was in regards to Thanos potentially lying about destroying the stones. Not sure how or why he would have, but if he was, what could be some possible explanations of what happened to the stones. Thanks again man!!1:03:23 Alex WardDo you know if the space civilizations we know of in the MCU all exist within our Galaxy, sort of like Star Wars and Star Trek, or do they span the whole universe? It somehow seems like the scope is more vast than Wars and Trek.1:04:20 Mike GonyeaOne last thought experiment. Pure speculation, what if Steve and Tony were the two that had to retrieve the soul stone. How do you see that going down? On the What If subject, anything you want to see explored on the upcoming Disney+ show? Have a great day
0:23 Woo S! KimOne of the things I am really looking forward to about the Sam Wilson/Bucky Barnes series is hopefully playing off of something in the comics, that being Sgt. Barnes' road to redemption, even with the Snap and The Avengers saving the world, a lot of governments around the world aren't going to forget all the people The Winter Soldier murdered in the last sixty years or so, do you believe this will be aspect of the show, Sean?4:52 Woo S! KimIn your Head Canon, who is NoobMaster69?5:26 Woo S! KimI have seen “Avengers: Endgame” five times, I get the feeling that Okoye is lying to the other heroes during the Google Hangout at The Avengers Facility. I think she knows that tremors from under the African plate are caused by Atlanteans and she wants to keep this information under wraps because the Wakandans want to handle this matter, their own, however, this may have nothing to do with Namor, but do you see my point? 7:30 Alex WardDo you think by the time we see X-Men and the Fantastic Four in the MCU, the current state of things--half the population missing five years and the trauma involved--will have dissipated at least on the cinematic side of things? For example, do you think enough time will have passed that it won't get brought up by characters like Reed Richards and Professor X?10:03 Giuseppe VicarettiHey Sean, my question for you this week is how do you think Disney will distribute the episodes for the upcoming TV shows that will be coming to DisneyPlus? I personally don't have a specific preference to episodes being released on a weekly basis or all at once, but where do you stand? Do you prefer weekly releases over all at once? And what do you think will be the end result?21:52 Cory KostiukHey Sean

1:08 Dan SandersHi Sean, first time I've asked a question in ages because I'm usually too busy but I'm always listening to the podcasts, thank you for all the great content, keep up the great work. Do you think that when Captain America returned the infinity stones at the end of the film, they should have shown us footage of him seeing the red skull? I would love to have seen his reaction to seeing him there, I know the films length was already long enough and this probably is why they left it out, Also would the soul stones return not bring Natasha back to life?6:18 Brandon McCollumHey Sean, one of my favorite things about Endgame were the unexpected friendships. My personal favorite has to be Tony and Nebula. If you could team up two characters from different MCU franchises and make a movie who would you choose and why?9:27 Giuseppe VicarettiHey Sean and fellow Patrons. Do you think we could possibly see a separate Hulk story, whether it be a show or a movie, even possibly released straight to digital on Disney+, that gives us the explanation of how Hulk and Bruce came together as One during that 5 year gap? And if so how likely could it be that Mark Ruffalo comes back for it?13:19 Woo S! KimI have a question: Do you think Charles Xavier is a little ashamed of being a Mutant? I just ask because if someone wasn't a little bit ashamed of who/what they are, why would you attempt so long and so hard to accepted by another group especially ones who either despise or fear for what you are?15:02 Woo S! KimCurrently, all seasons of “Agents of Shield” are on Netflix. Within the time Disney+ launches or eight months afterward do you think all episodes “Agents of Shield” will be on Hulu or Disney+, the reason I ask is a week before the investor day I would have said “Agents of Shield” us for sure going to Hulu.” However, with the news that “Agent Carter” will be on Disney+ I am not quite sure, what say you, Sean?17:18 Alex KleinAfter Nebula doesn't come back with War Machine, she has her malfunction while Thanos is viewing the future and then runs out to the ship to try and warn Clint and Natasha. Why didn't she just use her device to go back? Thanos would never have gotten it and been able to come to the future, and clearly Clint was able to travel back by himself after Nat sacrificed herself? Obviously it was the writers choice but that seems like the Star Lord moment of this movie.20:14 CaroleI know there was a lot to cover in the Endgame Spoilers Review...BUT...I would love your comments on the Rocket and Nebula reunion at the Avengers compound. Thanks for keeping up the excellent podcast content!22:17 AlexIf Reed Richards was in the MCU earlier before Infinity War and Endgame and was among the heroes spared from being dusted to death by the snap do you think in theory MCU Reed(if they made him as smart as traditionally is in the comics) would've been just as able to figure out time-travel as much as Tony was?22:53 AlexNow that we know the time travel mechanics of the MCU do you think its either more or less likely the FF will be introduced in the MCU as time travelers from the 1960's? What potential problems do you think could arise in terms of continuity if Marvel were to head in such a direction?24:21 Jak SherlockHey Sean, hope you had an amazing End Game experience. Just had two questions regarding director's/producer's comments before the release of End Game.Firstly, wasn't it confirmed that BARF would play a role in End Game or was that just speculation? If so I didn't notice the use of BARF anywhere in the movie.Secondly, If the Russo's said that the Red Skull would be free once he oversaw the acquisition of the Soul Stone, how would Captain America have returned the stone? I know that the stones were to be taken back to the point they were originally taken, but if the sacrifice of Natasha's life is undoable, then wouldn't the Red Skull be free to leave?Apologies for the ramble! Thanks as always.29:10 AlexWhat do you think of the idea of Tony Stark inadvertently causing the increase of individuals manifesting the X-gene by reversing the effects of the decimation through the snap that cost him his life? Would you be on board for the idea or do you think Stark indirectly causing the rise of the mutant population in the MCU just makes the universe feel smaller?31:05 Jak SherlockWhen do you predict the next Avengers movie to be released? And what's your best guess for the line-up?34:26 Otto RogersDo you feel that Betty Ross should have made an appearance in Endgame considering how important she was to Banner?36:30 Otto RogersHow quickly (or do you think) we will see Cassie as Stature?38:56 Otto RogersWho do you think the leading voice of the Phase Four Avengers?40:43 David RosenHey Sean, End Game had some amazing visuals in it, especially that incredible wide shot of Cap standing alone against Thanos's army. Maybe an all time great shot. Now that there is a complete MCU to consider, what are some of your favorite similar “splash page” moments from the MCU?43:48 Mookie JohnsonI was about to ask where do you think the next Avengers Compound will be, but the better question may be is it necessary? Most if not all of the remaining heros have reasons to be elsewhere and may not be lifeers like natasha and steve were bc they had nothing else. Do you think going forward the Avengers will need to Assemble for bigger threats?48:59 Jeremy WatsonGood morning Sean and fellow Patrons! What an incredible ride that was...not just the movie, but the entire journey! After my first viewing, I felt like I was in mourning the rest of the day. Mourning for some beloved characters that were lost, but also mourning the end of an era. This was incredible and the ending was so sweet. Do you think that because Thanos was dusted and not physically killed (ie Thor going for the head), that leaves the door open for a return, especially since the dusted characters from IW returned? Also, I was slightest bit disappointed that Thanos was not physically killed. I appreciated the symmetry of him and his army getting dusted but, for me, it was much more satisfying watching him get beheaded by Thor than seeing him get dusted. I suppose it shows that he was really too strong (however, he was never really able to kill any of the Avengers, so maybe it goes both ways) 54:12 Jeremy WatsonFor Q1 to happen, we would probably need to see the infinity stones again, do you think that we will see them again in future MCU movies? If the stones are definitely gone, then do you see that causing a ripple down the road or possibly that is what leads to the evolution of the mutant X gene?56:36 Jeremy WatsonDo you think the MCU will eventually explore other realms more thoroughly (Soul Realm, Quantum Realm, where the dusted people went)?58:32 Jeremy WatsonHow do you think future MCU movies will call back to the Infinity War? I am sure that Far From Home will make some references, since that is next in line and the epilogue for Phase 3, but heading into Phase 4, do you see there being references to this story? 1:00:48 Mookie JohnsonI was asked how does time continue after Thanos destroyed the stones given The Ancient One's explanation? I'm curious about your thoughts on this this topic.1:04:46 Chris CascioHowdy everyone I just want to ask if you where Clint Barton how would you explain your new appearance to your wife and kids? Mid-Snap Crisis.1:05:47 Keith MerrillDoes Captain really age that fast? Depending on where he stopped it's probably 80 years?1:10:58 Hector Giovanni NavarreteHey Sean, hope everyone is having a great week! So with the MCU's timeline remaining with that 5 years later, the year post AE is 2023. Do you think that most of the next MCU films will just be “prequels” or some other time in the MCU's history type films? For example the rumor for The Eternals and BW are that they take place in the past at least partly. And maybe doing this as to wait for the MCU's timeline to line up with our real life time line in 2023? Thanks Sean!1:14:16 David RosenIf the Agent Carter tv series were to ever be revived, would you prefer it pick up where season 2 left off, or would you be more in favor now of seeing a season 3 in Cap's alternate timeline where he's now living with and married to Peggy? In your own head canon, what do you think their relationship was like? Did Peggy give up on her SSR/SHIELD life and they lived a quiet life together, or did she continue with her career, and occasionally maybe employ Steve for secret missions on the side? Now that I think about it, maybe Steve helped Peggy root out the Hydra contingent within SHIELD so it never became the problem that it did in Winter Soldier. On a larger note, do you think all the alternate timelines created in End Game can or will used as the basis for the upcoming “What If” series?1:17:34 AlexJoe Russo confirmed that there was no time loops involved in bringing old Steve back into the prime timeline; he just resided in an alternate timeline with his wife (who's never identified) then made the jump back to his original timeline to give Sam the shield so he can pass down the torch. So how do you think old Steve found a way back to his current timeline? Did he get help from the Tony Stark from the alternate timeline he lived in?1:19:52 Michael WeaselboyHey Sean i have a simple one this week. Also you are going to drop this episode on my birthday, May 1. So my question is, do you think DC/Warner Bros can make a movie as good and epic as Endgame?? I would like to see them do another Justice League movie down the road but they of course would have to get to that point again. Thoughts?? See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
APRIL 27, 20191:53 Robert KlauserWhat's up Sean? Happy to be on the other side now. Was it always the plan, from your perspective, to have Thor team up with the Guardians even before the well-received feedback from the viewers?3:40 Kevin FandryHow do they return the Soul Stone to its proper time/place and could they have used it, by itself, to bring back the now confirmed dead before putting it back? Time travel is crazy.5:45 Alex WardHi Sean! I can't believe we're here! I loved the movie but honestly still haven't had a chance to process all of it. I am counting on your help! First, it's clear that the MCU is taking a unique approach to time travel. Could you explain how it functions, and more specifically why "old" Cap wouldn't still be in his timeline? After Cap left to return the stones, does that now mean that both Caps had now been existing simultaneously, maybe one in hiding, all this time?10:54 Alex WardI see that you also noticed the possible Namor easter egg. How likely do you think that is the case? And do you think they'll make him an Eternal in the MCU? It seems like that would suit his power level and help set him apart from Aquaman; plus, his mutanthood hasn't been that integral to his character until recent years.14:58 Alex WardOkay, so going forward, the MCU takes place five years in the future, with half the population having not aged in that time? Just making sure. Also, how excited are you about this massive, totally unexpected change?18:02 Alex WardWere you also at once touched and confused by Sam getting the Captain America mantle? Could the "Falcon and Winter Soldier" Disney Plus title be a fakeout in the vein Captain America: The Serpent Society fakeout, and it's actually called "Captain America and the Winter Soldier?" Okay, sorry for the barrage, I know you have a ton of questions to answer! This should be it for now!21:40 Woo S! KimDo you think in the 5 years since the Snap that The Mutant Gene could have been discovered and this wasn't as big a news story because of “The Decemation” or do you think with all the reworking of the timeline thanks to The Avengers and Thanos honestly, that could have created Mutants like some of us True Believers have been speculating for months now?24:04 Woo S! KimAfter the events of “Avengers: Endgame” where would you put your money on, when the “Black Widow” film takes place, before the events of the 2012 Avengers film or the five years in between “The Decemation” and The Infinity Stone Heist?25:33 Chad LeakeHello Sean! First time q&a participant. When Cap and Stark fail the first time to retrieve the Tesseract, and Loki grabs it and uses it, do you think this is how they introduce him back into the Disney Plus series, or even better yet, back into the MCU Movies???? Love the podcast's, I'm glad I've found a place to listen to everything Marvel, and for that I thank you!29:34 Woo S! KimWhat would be your best guess Sean, on where Thor and The Guardians go from here in terms of "guardians of The Galaxy Volume III" and the potential fourth Thor film? Do you think in the least we will see the Son of Odin make a cameo in "Guardians of The Galaxy Volume III" do you think we will see any of The Guardians in the fourth Thor film, I need to add if there is a fourth Thor film and what do you think of the idea of Takia W. and James Gunn soto collaborating on both films together while still doing their own MCU films, I hear that happened with the Russo Brothers and Peyton Reed following "Captain America: Civil War."32:10 Woo S! KimWhat was your biggest surprise/favorite cameo in "Avengers: Endgame?" Mine without a doubt was James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, funny sidebar I was one of about three people in my IMAX screening opening night who knew who he was.36:38 Xavier ArquerosHi Sean, let's get to the point: What prevents the Avengers from going back on time and grab the stones and put them back anytime they need? // Why past Gamora knew that the orb was the power stone when in guardians 1 she does want to sell it until the collector explains what it is? The movie is amazing, and this does not bother me, I'm just curious. Cheers everyone!42:16 Phillip CastroHi Sean! In your opinion, who would be the finalists for Endgame MVA (Most Valuable Avenger) and is this hero also your pick for MVA of this Infinity Saga? Thank you in advance as always!45:05 Matt StuartHey Sean! As someone who is more well versed in the source material than me, can Bruce turn back into his human form or is he permanently Professor Hulk? Look forward to hearing everyone's questions!46:10 AlexIf the five year time jump really remains even after all the snap victims come back then how is it that Ned didn't appear to age like five years haven't passed? Surely he should be in college. The only excuse I can think of is that Ned along with most of the rest of Peter's classmates like Flash, MJ, and Betty were snap victims, so like Peter they come back five years later without having aged five years and we'll find this out in Far From Home.48:38 AlexAnother question: If I'm not mistaken according to the film's time travel rules -- A time traveler cannot actually alter/change course of events of his or her's native timeline by changing something from the past since there is no ripple effect except to create new divergent timelines that exist parallel to the timeline they came from. .....So how does the Steve Rogers from the main MCU timeline make it back to the present timeline we've all been following? if Steve Rogers were to retire in the past and grow old with Peggy then wouldn't Steve in theory end up in a separate timeline different from the one we've been following?50:09 AlexAnother Question: How come they couldn't use the time stone to bring Tony back to life? In Infinity War when the Mad Titan arrived in Wakanda to take the mind stone that Vision had; even though Wanda was able to destroy Thanos managed to revive Vision by turning back time on his destroyed parts and reassemble him back to life after Wanda destroyed him. Couldn't they theoretically do the same thing with Tony's corpse and reverse time on it so they can reset Tony back to the state he was prior to using the Stark Gauntlet?51:37 AlexWhat character from the Fox-library of Marvel characters are you most bummed about never interacting with Tony Stark when they make it over to the MCU now that Mr. Stark is no longer with us?(though RDJ in real life is, thank god!).52:46 AlexDo you think had Captain Marvel had used the Stark Gauntlet instead of Tony she would've survived the power of the Infinity Stones or do you think she'd likely meet the same fate as Mr. Stark? I actually suspect she'd be able to survive the stone's power relatively unharmed like Thanos did but what're your thoughts?54:26 AlexDid you think after Strange was done seeing through the 14 million different possible outcomes of how their battle with Thanos could pan out he already knew Stark's ultimate fate in Endgame?55:29 David RosenHi Sean, First and foremost I want to say thank you to you and the rest of this community for helping make what was one hell of a week and the movie experience of a lifetime. When I think back on this moment in the coming years, sharing the experience seeing this movie will go hand in hand with seeing the actual movie itself. So thank you Sean and everyone else for that. Speaking of runtime, what do you think were some of the things that were possibly cut from the movie? I think I remember at some point it was rumored that there was a 4-5 hour version of the movie and I also felt that some things were just a little rushed along, so I'm curious what extra story elements you think may have been left on the cutting room floor?1:01:39 David RosenWere you a little surprised that we hardly got any mention of Vision aside from a quick reference to him from Wanda or do you think they're just saving it for the Disney+ show?1:02:35 David RosenWould Tony have survived the snap if he was wearing his helmet or do you think he didn't put it on because he came to realize it was his destiny die?1:04:00 Christian FuentesHi Sean. Welcome to a post Endgame world! Did you have an emotional reaction to the movie that had nothing to do with the actual content? For me, I actually had tears by the final battle. Not because of what was going on, but because I started this journey years ago with someone, and they couldn't make it to see the end.1:06:29 Christian FuentesMy second question is, how do you think films will manage the psychological damage going forward? The people who died as a consequence of the snap are still dead (I would guess that would be millions across the universe), and there's the psychological trauma from both those who disappeared and those that were left behind. Thanks for everything that you do!1:09:37 Bill Van NormanHi Sean and fellow patrons in the post Endgame world. I also had a question about the psychological trauma but Christian's question gets at that. My other question is about Vision - do you think we'll see him again? Wanda talked about him and Nat in the same way with the implication that he is dead like Nat. In addition, the Mind Stone is destroyed. Also, the hints about WandaVision sounds like it could be in the past. I hope we can see Vision going forward and not just in a prequel sort of way. What do you think Sean, will we see Vision as part of the MCU future?1:14:18 Michael WeaselboyHey Sean, when I saw Endgame I laughed and cried and got goosebumps. Its nice to finally be able to talk about it. When all of the snapped heroes returned me and my theater were going crazy. That being said my questions are 1.) How did The Avengers create a Gauntlet that easily, I thought since Eitri made it it was supposed to be something super powerful, and since Iron Man made one real quick that also makes me think. Thoughts?? Also who do you think will be the next big bad of the MCU I am hoping for Norman Osborn or Doctor Doom. Who do you think??1:19:56 Dennis Byron GonzalezHi Sean and fellow patrons, Happy Avengers: Endgame weekend to you all! I know I haven't participated in a Q&A in a long time (due to work and family concerns, as it seems quite a few of us have experienced), but what better time to dive back in then now?Since we know Clint as Ronin had been attacking various criminal organizations such as the Yakuza and the Mexican cartels during the five years post-decimation, could his personal war on crime potentially be backstory we see in the proposed Hawkeye limited series for Disney Plus?1:21:58 Dennis Byron GonzalezWe know Captain Marvel spent most of Endgame monitoring other worlds in the universe, before returning for the final battle. Post-Endgame, is there potential for the establishment of a Carol-led organization in charge of interstellar defense such as SWORD or Alpha Flight (assuming Marvel Studios doesn't go with the original Canadian super-team concept)?1:24:53 Dennis Byron GonzalezWhat are your thoughts on the fate of Natasha Romanoff? Her sacrifice to gain the Soul Stone, although I understand why it had to happen, was perhaps the only thing in Endgame that I found upsetting. The death of Black Widow was a possibility I had been dreading since before Infinity War was released last year; I think I've even expressed it as such in a long ago Q&A. I know we will still have Scarlett Johansson returning for the Black Widow film in a couple of years, that is now definitely set in the past, and I find it unfortunate we will not see the journey of Natasha progress into the future. Hopefully, in future films or series we will have more recognition her sacrifice and her memory with the surviving characters. Finally, I just want to say how much I enjoy the show and being part of this community. Listening to the Daily Bugle and the In The Endgame series always helped the workdays go by, and I look forward to the future of Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thank you again, Sean! Thank you as well for establishing the Discord channel! I just joined up, and been having a lot of fun being in conversation with my fellow patrons. Take care!1:29:30 Hector Giovanni NavarreteHey Sean and fellow Patrons! Hope everyone had a great time watching AE. I have the following questions, so far lol:1) In a post AE MCU who will be the ultimate leader of the Avengers now that Cap is basically retired and Tony has passed away? Will it be Carol while she is always in space helping other planets, T'Challa who is the kind of a nation, or someone else like Sam? 1:32:19 Hector Giovanni Navarrete2) Did it kinda bother you that we got no answer as to why Nick Fury waiting only till IW to call CM? So we are just left with the CM movies' explanation of IW was the “only emergency”? 1:33:37 Hector Giovanni Navarrete3) For GOTG V.3 we know that even when James Gunn was fired, MS was still going to use his script. With how AE ended are we to assume that, that script includes Thor? And also we see Peter looking at a monitor searching for Gamora, is that 2014 Gamora or IW Gamora? 1:36:47 Woo S! KimI am ready for a change in the MCU. Don't get me wrong, I love and will miss Captain Rogers, Black Widow, and Iron Man, but in the immortal words of Robert Downey Jr. I think it was the correct time for them to hang up their jersey's. Do you find it rather refreshing that even though we know "The Eternals" is coming, "Shang-Chi" etc, not to mention X-Men and "Fantastic 4 in the coming years, we know those stories are coming but we don't know what those stories are about and or what the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is going to be, I was sad Opening Night, but now I am really excited, do you feel the same way I do, that it is time for a change in the MCU?1:39:41 Ronald AcostaHey Sean!! Got that minor hiccup on my account fixed by support so thanks for that. It's been a while since I've chimed in with any questions. Anyway, ***spoiler tag*** I'm the type of person who takes a while for my emotions to hit me. Or maybe it's because I was in shock although it was something that we all suspected for years now that this would be the end for Tony. But at which point did you start to cry as it relates to Tony's death? For me it was Morgan's cheeseburger callback. That instantaneously tore me to shreds and immediately took me back to 2008. Oh my goodness the feels!! This has been such an awesome journey and if anyone else would like to chime in with an answer to this q, by all means!!!1:42:52 MayaHey Sean! Walking out of my third viewing as we speak. Thanks for being the first to tell us about the Namor tease in the discord. During this last rewatch I noticed there were significant disturbances to the water in the battle scene. Maybe I was just reading into it, but it seemed like there was a huge focus on it even though there was enough harm from Thanos' army to be worrying about the water. Do you think that the heavy disturbance coming from Sanctuary and Dr. Strange's magic is a reason Namor pays visit to land? If we do see him, it is crazy to think that him emerging would be for something other than half of his people dusting and coming back. Nevertheless I really hope he makes it in the MCU.1:45:38 MayaSomeone I met at the theater who was also on his repeat viewing said he thinks the little boy who Scott Lang asked “What happened?” is the future Ghost Rider. That definitely caught me off guard and seems kind of far fetched. Have you heard this theory? What do you think? Do you think he could potentially be someone we see again in the MCU? Thank you for all that you do! The road to Endgame wouldn't have been the same without you! 1:47:30 Mookie JohnsonWhy do you believe Cap is worthy to lift Thor's Hammer in Endgame but not in Age of Ultron now that you've seen Endgame?1:49:55 Mookie JohnsonDid Cap have to return Mjolnir to the timeline when he returned the Reality stone?1:50:30 Mookie JohnsonDo you think we ever get to see Cap's reaction to Red Skull being the Soul stone protector?1:51:43 Mookie JohnsonIt was super exciting to get another "she's not alone" moment, but sad Black Widow couldn't be there... do you think that the Female avengers movie still happens without Natasha and did they establish enough in the story for Valkyrie to "lead the charge" for the female Avengers group in the MCU? I think it'd be fitting given Tessa Thompson "spearheading" the effort off-screen.1:53:59 Mookie JohnsonWill Professor Hulk's arm ever heal or is he sidelined from battle going forward unless he uses the Hulkbuster Armor?1:55:10 Mookie JohnsonI'm glad we finally got to hear Cap say "Avengers Assemble". Are you satisfied with when and how we got it both from Cap's perspective in the story and ours as fans watching it? Thank you for creating this wonderful community and sacrificing so much of your time for us. You are areal life Hero for us MCU fans! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Sean answers your Marvel questions!0:23 Hector Giovanni NavarreteHey Sean I was just barely listening to your Shanlian on Batman guest appearance episode in which y'all discuss the 10 year anniversary of TDK. First of all that episode was great! TDK has a special place in my heart because it's the film that made me fall in love with “geek”/pop culture! After that film and in anticipation of TDKR is where I found MMM and you, amongst other podcast about similar topics. So I wasn't around for the build up to TDK and wasn't a part of the ARG for that film. So that episode was a great chronicle of events leading up to that film, thank you! My questions are:1. Why do you think no other Superhero/Comic book film has not done an ARG similar to TDK? I know TDKR did one but it doesn't sound like it was on the level it was for TDK. 06:51 Hector Giovanni Navarrete2. I know you mention in that episode that no other ARG was as big or as detailed as TDK's. While I agree it's one of the most popular ones out there, the only one that, to me, can truly rival that one is the 1st Cloverfield movies' ARG. I wasn't really following this stuff at that time, but it seems like that one was also as big and detailed. It seems that this film's ARG wasn't as popular/well known as TDK's. I know that the Cloverfield fan group is a “cult” fandom (not in a bad way, just in regards to size). I love the Cloverfield franchise, was let down by Cloverfield Paradox but the first 2 were great! What's your opinion on them? I think you've mentioned before that you liked the 1st one directed by Matt Reeves.08:03 Hector Giovanni Navarrete3. Lastly I feel like Nolan was also starting a type of trend in superhero cinema of having a villain prologue before jumping into the crux of the stories (examples: TDK & TDKR). I know some superhero films have done a sort of prologue of sorts, although not necessarily of villains per say more like about main characters/parents (examples Ant-Man & The Wasp, ASM 1). Although Civil War did have a good short one about Winter Soldier and Tony's parents. Do you like when there are prologues to movies, more specifically to superhero movies, and why do you think they can be effective? Also do you like when they are integral to the story or just sort of add some context to the bigger story? Would you like more films in the genre to do more prologues?10:30 Derek BeebeWhat do you think was the best year of multiple Marvel movie releases? I think it's 2018; Black Panther, Infinity War, and Ant-Man Wasp were all excellent! 11:47 Derek BeebeWhat year do you think had the biggest quality gap between movies? My pick is 2016. I really loved Civil War, but I thought Doctor Strange was merely good.12:32 Derek BeebeWhat are the best Marvel movies to get in 4K?13:45 Derek BeebeI've been reading the Abnett/Lanning run of cosmic comics from Annihilation to Conquest to War of Kings to the Thanos Imperative. What was your favorite storyline of these?15:12 Phillip CastroHey Sean, great job on the content as always! I apologize if this has already been touched on but I wanted to ask your thoughts on whether or not you can see Ghost possibly playing a significant role in Endgame beyond rescuing Scott from the Quantum Realm?16:23 AlexWhy do you think Video game related movies don't work as movies as well as comic book/novel adaptations? And can you ever see a good and successful video game movie ever being made? 20:17 Woo S! KimI used to purchase the Marvel Collector Corps from Funko for my little sisters and they love them. Although, I feel since Funko partnered with Amazon starting with the Deadpool 2 Collector Corps box the quality of the exclusive items has gone down, this is the main reason I don't purchase them any longer, I believe in giving the people I love great gifts. Do you still get the Marvel Collector Corps boxes and if you have, what are your thoughts on the boxes in the last six months or so?22:35 Woo S! KimSean is it true in one version of the Six-One-Six Marvel Universe that The Eternals were responsible for the creation of Mutants and would you like to be the explanation of how Mutants are in the MCU, why or why not?24:17 Woo S! KimThis is going to be a tough question, but I wanted your point of view, Sean. Of the three MCU characters that have had trilogies Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man who do you think have had the most compelling transformative arcs that you have enjoyed the most and why, this includes things we've seen in team-ups.25:27 Alex WardDo you think Black Widow will have a male or female villain? While I want the villain to be a woman so we can have more representation in the MCU, I also think she deserves to go up against a prestige mainstream villain like Taskmaster. What are some female villains you'd like to see in the Black Widow movie, or possibly gender-bent male villains?27:10 Michael Louis WeaselboyHey Sean how do you think they will do Deadpool 3?? Ryan Reynolds said it would be very different, do you think they will incorporate the previous two into the MCU as is or make it a pocket universe? I know it might confuse the audience but we will see. Also when do you think they will release it?29:45 Jordan BentleyHey Sean! Assuming that we lose certain Avengers in Endgame, be it to retirement or deaths, do you think we will get characters like Riri who will pick up the mantle, or will they just let those characters rest for a while?33:03 AlexWho's your top choices for Johnny Storm? I like the idea of Lucas Hedges(who's the same age as Tom Holland) or Dacre Montgomery who I liked a lot in Stranger Things season 2. And out of these two suggestions that I have given which actor out of these two do you think would suit the role more over the other?34:39 AlexI know he's recently been rumored for the Caped Crusader but do you think Richard Madden would be a good fit for everybody's favorite Elastic genius Dr. Reed Richards? I think Madden is a good actor based off what I've seen of him in the Netflix The Bodyguard and I feel Mr. Madden has a strong resemblance to the original Jack Kirby rendition of Reed from the comics.35:44 AlexSean, you are quite familiar with my paranoia/worry about certain markets like China blocking the deal but now I have a big concern that Brazil might potentially be the roadblock that might prevent the deal from becoming a reality. Apparently Iger recently had a meeting with Brazilian regulators in order to explain the value of the deal and it ended without any agreement being reached. How do you see this playing out, Sean? The fact that Iger has to go over to Brazil to meet with regulators tells me that Brazil might be the hardest market to acquire approval in.39:23 AlexDo you think the X-Men coming into the MCU could potentially impede the creativity of the MCU? What I mean creativity is I'm talking about Marvel's willingness to make big brands out of properties that were previously considered obscure or not bankable. It's obvious that if Marvel had X-Men from the start then stuff like Guardians Of The Galaxy would not happen. Sean, can you eventually see a point in which Marvel will eventually stop making movies about lesser known characters and be strictly be in the Mutant-business or do you still foresee Marvel still making movies around more obscure properties like Eternals and Guardians Of The Galaxy. I must admit as much as I like the idea of the merry Mutants coming home I still have a worry that Marvel could end up relying on them too much like Warners relied on Batman and Superman until now. 43:02 Alex WardWe have not seen many villains make major comebacks in the MCU aside from Loki, Thanos, and maybe one or two more that I'm totally blanking on for some reason. That being said, what existing villains would you like to see come back in a big way? I think Red Skull would be a great character to make a full comeback (yes he cameo'd in Infinity War but that doesn't count), maybe in the Falcon/Bucky series or if the Cap movies continue.Similarly, when villains do return, there has to be a twist of some sort, or maybe just some kind of change from their first appearance. For example, Loki had the backing of the Chitauri. What do you think will be different about the Avengers' rematch with Thanos? Do you think maybe there's another villain?49:24 Alex WardDo you think the WB streaming service will absorb the DCU service?54:43 Jerry KowalskiI managed to get my Disney/Marvel Studios 1st 10yrs AIW hat, and just received the Iron Man one, do u know if there will be others? Also if & when Marvel does do their version of The X-Men, why don't they sit on Wolverine a bit, and focus on the core/og members such as Jean,Iceman, maybe Beast, Prof.X and of course Scott, and finally give scott his due and perhaps push him to the forefront of the new X series?57:49 Mookie JohnsonIs it plausible the Infinity war shot with the heros running to the camera that wasn't in the movie was actually footage from Avengers: Endgame or was it just shot for the trailer?59:24 Mookie JohnsonI love the Red Skull's appearance in Infinity War, but it makes no sense to me. Ever since I first saw it, it has felt forced. Why would it send him to the soul stone? Even if I accept the explanation at face value, it means the Space stone decided he was unworthy and then sent him to the Soul Stone as punishment.... So I guess the Space stone was thinking if he spends time with the soul stone he'd grow past his greed and lust for power. What are your thoughts on this?1:04:25 AlexJeph Loeb recently commented on the pending Disney/Fox acquisition and expressed enthusiasm over the prospects of Marvel having the Merry Mutants and The First Family all under one roof and it got me thinking what effects can you see the Disney merger having on the the future seasons of the remaining non-netflix, Marvel shows produced by the television division like Agents Of Shield and the Runaways. Could we possibly see mutants in those shows and all future non-Netflix Marvel shows eventually or do you think the mutants will only be relegated to only Marvel Studio's productions like the movies and the Disney Streaming Service shows?1:08:56 Alex WardAvengers: Endgame Spoiler question See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Welcome back…so we must be in the Soul Stone, right? Anyways, the heroes are back, but only Vince (@vmostajo) has survived the snap. Our lonesome hero is joined by an ally, Reyna (@reynax81) as they go through the ultimate super family, The Incredibles.
