I will tell you very little has changed in my opinion. He does a lot of things wrong. Like, a lot.” “Dak Prescott. Wasn’t a heavily recruited guy, was not sought-after in his class. I thought he was a starter in a national football league.”

In this week's RSP Cast, Matt Waldman explains why people can be too impatient with original evaluations, why people misuse workout data with running back evaluations, and provides quick takes on a pair of quarterbacks, running backs, and five tight ends in 2019's class. This week, I went solo to share some thoughts on scouting: RSP writer Dwain McFarland's new Film And Data analysis of Dak Prescott is a good starting point for thoughts on why we can be too impatient with player evaluations. Running back metrics: thoughts on speed and explosion, why they don't deliver the context of skill in a clean manner, and what else is needed to complete the analysis. Quick thoughts on running backs Nico Evans and Zack Moss, quarterbacks Riley Neal and Will Grier, and tight ends Albert Okwuegbunam, Tommy Sweeney, Noah Fant, Caleb Wilson, and Alize Mack. NCAAF 3:30 EST Rotation #321-322 Akron -6 over Ball State Ball State lost a lot of defensive talent from their team last year as it showed last week against Western Michigan. On Offense Ball State didn’t return much talent either and they key guys they did return are all out of this game today with injury. James Gilbert is a big part of this running game so without him this team is lost. Riley Neal is out with a leg injury and Corey Lacanaria is out at wide receiver. This team is just hurting badly due to injury and young talent. Akron has a little bit better of an offensive line and more talented skill players in this game. Look for the Zips to get the home win by throwing the ball all over this defense. Take Akron.
