December 1, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 57 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into our overarching thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 13 Sunday home loss to the Buffalo Bills. As you can probably imagine, this show begins with a lot of gloom, despair, and agony vibes. The Steelers sustained a few injuries Sunday, so we discuss what happened to ILB Patrick Queen and CB James Pierre. We also discuss QB Aaron Rodgers getting beat up more on Sunday against the Bills. The Steelers made a few transactions on Saturday with one of those being T Broderick Jones being placed on the Reserve/Injured list. We discuss Jones likely being out for the season and the offseason decision the Steelers have with him when it comes to his fifth-year option. After going through the newsy items related to Saturday and Sunday, Alex and I look at what all transpired at Acrisure Stadium against the Bills. We first talk about the play of the Steelers' defense and how poor things looked on that side of the football once again. We discuss the historical day the defense had, clearly a negative, and how the Bills offense ran at will against the unit by essentially spamming just two plays. We discuss the Steelers' defense being unable to get to Bills QB Josh Allen on Sunday and how he used his legs, instead of his arm, to really impact the game. We also discuss the coverage bust the Steelers defense had on his lone touchdown pass as well. After beating up on the defense, Alex and I go over the lackluster play from the Steelers offense against the Bills. We talk about the unit's inability to run many plays, the overall lack of a running game, and how there was no passing game down the field to speak of. We discuss a few poor decisions that QB Aaron Rodgers seemingly made against the Bills and how he remains out of sync with TE Jonnu Smith. We go over a few things Rodgers had to say postgame in addition to things that OLB T.J. Watt said to the media. We also discuss the reaction Mike Tomlin had to Sunday's loss postgame. We also talk about the poor offensive schemes and game plans that OC Arthur Smith has put on display recently. The "Fire Tomlin" chants are getting louder in Pittsburgh, so Alex and I discuss that topic. We discuss our faith and lack of faith in Tomlin moving forward. We discuss the Steelers only having two home games remaining and how Tomlin is probably thankful for that. Special teams certainly played a role in the Steelers' loss to the Bills, so Alex and I make sure to hit on what went wrong in that phase of the game on Sunday. Alex and I certainly aren't bullish at all on the Steelers when it comes to their final five games and thus playoff chances. The Buffalo Bills set an Acrisure Stadium record with 249 yards rushing in the Bills' 26-7 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Josh Allen once again threw for a touchdown and rushed for one, breaking the mark of 75 previously held by Cam Newton. The team did all this with two back-up tackles. Keon Coleman got out of the doghouse and scored. On defense, Christian Benford had a scoop and score and an interception. We discuss the likelihood of OL Andrus Peat being the starting left tackle on Sunday with T Broderick Jones sidelined for this Week 13 contest. The Bills are dealing with several key injuries this week as well and so Alex and I recap what their Thursday report looked like and how it seems Buffalo is likely to be without their two starting tackles on Sunday. Munaf Manji and SleepyJ talk NFL Player Props for week 13. Munaf Manji and SleepyJ break down NFL Week 13 player props, starting with quarterbacks. Sleepy takes Josh Allen over 238.5 passing yards against a weak Steelers pass defense that gives up 258 per game, expecting Allen to bounce back after a rough Week 12 and potentially post a huge ceiling game. Munaf backs Patrick Mahomes over 266.5 passing yards versus Dallas, citing the Chiefs' reliance on the pass, recent struggles establishing the run, returning receivers, and a vulnerable Cowboys pass defense; Mahomes has gone over this number in four of his last five. For running backs, Sleepy plays Patriots RB Travion Henderson over 68.5 rushing yards since he has taken control of the backfield and faces a poor Giants rush defense; Munaf agrees, noting Henderson's strong recent snap shares, Stevenson's fumbling issues, and the Giants allowing explosive production to multiple backs.
