Na Slovensku lidi okamžitě na cizince spustí o politice, v Česku život tak otrávený politikou neníPrázdniny jsou v plném proudu a bratři Hejslované se v jejich první půli vydali na cesty po svém teritoriu: Jakub byl na jihu na Balkáně, odkud si přivezl nazpět smutek, a Lukáš vandroval po západních slovanských zemích, odkud si přivezl nazpět úžas. Jaké konkrétní dojmy a nové poznatky tedy mají? O tom je nový díl sourozeneckého podcastu, v němž Lukáš české turisty bažící po Polsku upozorňuje na místa, tedy najmě města, kam se vyplatí jet už proto, že tam turisté nejsou. Přestože tam je na co se dívat.V úvodu se Jakub – čerstvě navrátivší se z Bělehradu – vrací ke svému zásadnímu tématu: jak vypadají srbské protesty proti tamní vládě, které už trvají tři čtvrtě roku a které v průběhu prázdnin zdánlivě ztrácejí dech. Lidé jsou na dovolených, města jsou poloprázdná, a tak vizuálně protesty upadají. Do toho se patrně konečně chystají v Srbsku volby (možná ještě letos), přičemž Jakub dodává, že vládní strana prezidenta Aleksandra Vučiće už nemá kde brát elektorát, takže je odsouzena k prohře. „Bude velmi zajímavé sledovat, k čemu to v následujících měsících povede, protože Vučić se moci samozřejmě nebude chtít vzdát. Navíc nezapomínejme, že srbská společnost čtyřicet let žije pod permanentním tlakem etnonacionalistů, je radikální, a i na takové voliče se bude muset cílit,“ upozorňuje Jakub.Vysvětluje, že atmosféra v zemi není ani tak napjatá, jako spíš smutná. Ve společnosti a ekonomice dle něj nic už nefunguje, drobní podnikatelé mizí a stát se rozpadá. „Vidíte to skutečně na každém kroku, u nás si ani nesvedeme představit,“ říká. A vysvětluje, jakým způsobem podporu opozici vyjadřují hvězdy jako tenista Novak Djoković nebo režisér Emir Kusturica. Ten se stal překvapivým podporovatelem nevládního tábora a spekuluje se, že to je hra s jeho pověstí, že může jít o snahy vybrat si ho jako potenciálního lídra opozice, ale zároveň i o snahu vládních kruhů přihrát si přes režisérovo jméno nové hlasy. „Zkrátka vyplatí se to sledovat, protože je to učebnice postupů, které u nás neznáme,“ uzavírá Jakub.V další části na něj Lukáš navazuje svými zážitky. Začíná na východním Slovensku v Prešově a jeho okolí a popisuje mimo jiné, jak intenzivně má slovenská společnost potřebu se s cizinci okamžitě bavit o politice. „To u nás tak ještě zaplaťpámbu není. Zároveň toto nejde nasát z médií, člověk musí být na místě, aby to poznal: že cosi visí ve vzduchu a že politika zasahuje do životů a myšlení lidí víc, než je zdrávo,“ vysvětluje Lukáš. K tomu poznamenává, že ve městě lze poznat, že Slovensko skutečně vyrůstá z menších poměrů než Česko, nebo že poměr nevkusu a vkusu je taky vyhrocenější než u nás: „V Bardejovských Kúpeľoch máte vedle sebe tanky z památníku na bitvu v Dukelském průsmyku, skanzen se starými domyz rusínských osad, secesní lázeňské domy, sochu císařovny Sisi, která sem jezdila, a hrozivé zázemí restaurací, kina nebo kadeřnictví postavené v osmdesátých letech, které chátrá, neinvestuje se do něj a vedle kterého se cítíte jako někde na jihu Prahy u metra.“Poslední částí je popis několika měst východního Polska: Lublin, Radom, Kielce, Lodž a nakonec Kladska u našich hranic. „Nejlepší na tom je, že skoro nikde nejsou turisti. Takže v době, kdy neustále lamentujeme na přemírou turismu, máme i nedaleko svých hranic spoustu míst, kde to neplatí, kde netrpíte nekonečnými frontami a zástupy všudypřítomných amatérských fotografů, kde se můžete pohybovat volně a svobodně a je vám dobře,“ dělá reklamu východnímu a střednímu Polsku Lukáš. Hans Koster, die zich hardop afvraagt of de woningmarkt er wel zo belabberd aan toe is als vaak wordt geschetst. S druge strane, razume populistički jezik. S treće, razume i vrednosti koje su duboko ugrađene u temelje ovog društva, a koje su se zacementirale u poslednje tri i po decenije. Dok ismeva površnost, nerazumevanje situacije, spremnost ljudi da se potčine trenutnom interesu, vrlo vešto televiziju KTV predstavlja kao jedinu slobodnu televiziju u Srbiji“, zaključila je Martinoli. Na pitanje Vučetić o komunikacijskim inovacijama koje su blokade donele, Martinoli je odgovorila da je najveće novine moguće zapaziti na kanalima studenata u blokadi. „Posebno mi je bilo zanimljivo što umetnički upečatljivo i vredno zaokruživali aktuelne teme, ali i pružali kritički osvrt na neke događaje, pa mi se dešavalo da mi ljudi iz oblasti pravosuđa i ekonomije kažu da su studenti vrlo dobro prenosili vrlo stručne stvari“, kaže rekla je profesorka FDU.

Le plus célèbre festival de Musique de Serbie, Exit, voit son existence menacée, pour avoir apporté son soutien au mouvement étudiant contre la corruption. Le régime du président Vucic attaque le festival au portefeuille, quitte a affaiblir l'économie du pays. Avec notre correspondant à Novi Sad en Serbie, Laurent Rouy Directeur du festival musical EXIT, Dusan Kovacevic ne s'attendait pas à être pris pour cible par le régime. Mais le soutien du festival aux étudiants qui manifestent contre la corruption n'a visiblement pas plu aux membres du parti au pouvoir en Serbie. « D'abord, ils ont menacé de nous supprimer les subventions que nous recevons chaque année. Puis, ils ont mis leur menace à exécution. Cet argent qu'ils investissent leur revient, pourtant, puisque chaque année Exit rapporte entre 25 et 30 millions d'euros à la Serbie », nous explique Dusan Kovacevic, le directeur du festival. La manifestation est soutenue par des groupes qui défendent aussi des valeurs démocratiques, tel que Atheist Rap, un groupe de musique punk, comme son nom ne l'indique pas. Son bassiste Zoran Lekic témoigne du prix à payer pour avoir exprimé publiquement son soutien : « On annule nos concerts, par exemple ceux qui sont financés par les mairies. En Serbie, toutes les mairies sont aux mains du parti au pouvoir actuel. Les boîtes de nuit nous expliquent qu'elles subissent des pressions pour annuler nos concerts, sous peine de voir débarquer des commissions de sécurité ou des agents du fisc. Voilà le genre de méthodes employées par ce régime ». À lire aussiSerbie: l'opposition anti-Vučić manifeste devant un bâtiment bombardé par l'Otan devenu un symbole En face, les étudiants profitent de la visibilité du festival pour informer le public, comme l'explique Aleksa, un étudiant ayant participé à un blocage devant l'entrée d'Exit. « Le blocage du pont aujourd'hui était juste une performance, pour montrer aux visiteurs étrangers que notre lutte continue. Les gens étaient très peu informés. Mais ils ont compris que c'était une bataille pour la démocratie ». Et il y a même une scène musicale dédiée aux étudiants dans le festival cette année. Elle attire beaucoup de spectateurs serbes. C'est un bon moyen d'aborder le sujet de la contestation avec un public plus large, selon Novak, de la faculté des sciences et techniques : « Les étudiants ont tout organisé. Nous avons trouvé les groupes, les DJ qui vont jouer en concert. Nous avons imaginé une exposition sur les manifestations anticorruption. Et de son côté, Exit a fourni toute la partie technique ». Le festival Exit envisage de déménager à l'étranger l'an prochain. La vitrine culturelle de la Serbie pourrait ne pas survivre au tournant autoritaire pris par le président Aleksandar Vucic.

Ihre Forderung: Recht und Gesetz sollen für alle Menschen in Serbien gelten - auch für diejenigen, die ganz oben im Staat stehen. Auslöser für die Massenproteste war der Einsturz eines Bahnhofsvordachs in Novi Sad Anfang November. 15 Menschen verloren dabei ihr Leben. Für die Studierenden, die seitdem demonstrieren, ist der Vorfall nicht einfach ein tragisches Unglück, sondern Folge unsachgemäßer Renovierungsarbeiten durch ein chinesisches Unternehmen. Sie kritisieren, dass die serbische Regierung zunächst versucht habe, das Unglück zu vertuschen und Verantwortung abzuweisen. "Korruption tötet", so der Slogan, der auf vielen Plakaten zu lesen ist.Florian Bieber ist Leiter des Zentrums für Südosteuropastudien an der Universität Graz. "Serbien ist im letzten Jahrzehnt sehr viel weniger demokratisch geworden." Stattdessen beobachtet er "größere Missachtung von Menschenrechten und Rechtsstaatlichkeit". Deutschland und die EU müssten sich dagegen stellen - und ihre Prinzipien auch beim Aushandeln wirtschaftlicher Deals verfolgen. Ansonsten sieht Bieber die Gefahr, dass die EU ihre Sympathien bei vielen Menschen in Serbien verspielt.Im Sommer 2024 haben Serbien und die EU einen Lithium-Deal abgeschlossen. Dabei geht es um die Förderung von Lithium im serbischen Jadartal durch den Bergbaukonzern Rio Tinto. Serbien würde gerne die komplette Wertschöpfungskette vom Abbau des Lithiums bis hin zur Produktion von E-Autos im Land konzentrieren. Die EU will das Vorhaben fördern und beim Thema Lithium weniger abhängig von China werden. Für Bieber rutscht die EU jedoch in eine neue Abhängigkeit, der serbische Präsident Aleksandar Vučić ist für ihn "kein zuverlässiger Bündnispartner". Das Lithium-Abkommen "hat der Europäischen Union und Deutschland auf dem Balkan einen Riesen-Schaden zugefügt", konstatiert Bieber. Viele Menschen haben seiner Beobachtung zufolge inzwischen das Gefühl, dass die EU ihre Forderungen nach mehr Demokratie und Rechtsstaatlichkeit nicht wirklich unterstütze, sondern stattdessen ihre eigenen Interessen verfolge. "Viele Menschen sagen, die EU ist nicht anders als China, die wollen nur unsere Rohstoffe."Dass die EU auf höhere Umweltauflagen setzt als China, lässt der Südosteuropa-Experte übrigens nicht gelten.
