Devin Obee and Kolby Branch homered for the Bulldogs. Does Tennessee have a bigger role in mind for Andrew Behnke, who started the Vols' 13-6 win over Bellarmine? The Vols also got home runs from Andrew Fischer, Dalton Bargo and Chris Newsroom. Texas got an 11-4 win over UTRGV thanks to five innings of one-run baseball from Kade Bing, and also three RBIs from catcher Rylan Galvan. Auburn beats Jacksonville State, 4-3, improving its RPI to 4 as Chrstian Chatterton retired the first 18 hitters he saw and struck out eight. Lucas Steele had a pinch-hit home run with two outs in the ninth to walk it off. Bobby Boser blasts three home runs for Florida, which improved its RPI to 25. Oklahoma wins 11-1 at Oklahoma State in eight innings as Jason Walk blasts the Sooners' first grand slam this season. Jaden Barfield, Reid Hensley, James Hitt and Dylan Crooks combined to allow just four hits. Vanderbilt freshman Austin Nye has become perhaps the league's best mid-week starter, lowering his ERA to 1.47 as the Commodores walked off cross-town rival Lipscomb, 5-4, with Colin Barczi's single. Ole Miss picks up a damaging, 7-3 loss to a 16-19 Little Rock squad that dropped its RPI several spots. Texas A&M beats Tarleton State, 11-3, with Jace LaViolette homering and Caden McCoy picking up a win with two scoreless innings. Arkansas knocks off UABP, 13-3, in eight innings, thanks to three doubles from reserve Reese Robinett. Garrett Staton and Brennen Norton hit home runs while Carson Ozmer got his 12th save. Mississippi State blasts Southern, 16-2, in seven innings, getting its seventh run-rule victory this year, with Hunter Hines driving in four runs. South Carolina shuts out The Citadel, 4-0, behind pitching from Jackson Soucie, Tyler PItzer, Ashton Crowther and Parker Marlatt, and a KJ Scobey home run. Missouri beats Missouri State, 10-9, improving the Tigers to 13-8 outside the league, but 0-15 inside it. Jackson Lovich had a grand slam for the Tigers.

Il s'intitule Slippery when wet, … sympa hein ?

I know I say this a lot, but this is an ODD one. It's basically a host-less episode, one of the rare episodes with no Update and the best moments of the show coming from places you would least expect them. And you get The Commodores post Lionel Richie, which is sadly, not great.

Shotgun and Jack break down all the action, looking at the Trojans' outstanding Cadens starting pitching duo of Caden Hunter and Caden Aoki as well as discussing the success of the bottom of the lineup. USC head coach Andy Stankiewicz then joins the show to talk about the Trojans getting off to a much better start to the 2025 season at 9-2 so far than last year when they were 4-12 through the first four weeks. He discusses what a win over Vanderbiilt means and why he didn't try to check his team showing emotion after the victory over the Commodores. Stankiewicz also provides an injury update on sophomore outfielder Kevin Takeuchi and breaks down how the coaching staff decided to put Ethan Hedges on the mound as a two-way player this season. After talking with Stankiewicz, Shotgun and Jack preview a big week of action as the Trojans have a midweek matchup with No. 16 UC Santa Barbara before opening Big Ten play against a top 10 Oregon team. [EP 25-087] Everything around us is a metaphor for what's happening. And we should be feeling pretty good about things. Short recap… Perhaps the biggest thing about to happen is the end of Biden's war. I will discuss that later.  Democrats keep trying to tie President Trump up in court for his ideas mostly around DOGE and they keep losing. He's got the best wingman in history. To have the money and the media outlet that Elon Musk has. Then add in the intellect, and the “I don't give a crap” attitude, and I'm just glad they are on our side. Finally, TECHNOLOGY. AI Imagine how two driven guys like President Trump and Elon interact with each other. As Elon tells the President what he just discovered. It's like constantly getting presents or finding Easter eggs all year long. The polling is crazy good for DOGE and the president. For obvious reasons. I feel like the Commodores singing Brick House. Chris Lee, Alfred Ezman and Graham Doty talk SEC baseball results from Friday night as starting pitching again took center stage. Topics include: Tennessee's Liam Doyle has his second-straight dominant start, striking out 14 hitters over 5 1/3 innings, while Tanner Franklin goes the rest of the way and whiffs six in the Vols' 5-1 victory over Samford. LSU led start to finish in a 4-2 win over Nebraska-Omaha has Kade Anderson, Connor Benge, Mavrick Rizy and Casan Evans combine to strike out 14. Texas A&M's Ryan Prager threw five shutout innings and Gavin Grahovac homered in a 6-1 victory over Cal Poly. Arkansas fell 3-2 to Kansas State for its first loss. The Razorbacks got solo homers from the Aloy brothers but just three strikeouts from its pitching staff. Alabama got an impressive 9-2 win over Coastal Carolina in Jacksonville despite getting three (3!) hits, only one of which scored a run. Instead, the Crimson Tide took 12 walks and were plunked three times. Zane Adams threw 4 1/3 innings of one-run ball, fanning six in his start. Georgia sweeps a doubleheader with 9-3 and 15-1 victories over Illinois-Chicago. Leighton Finley throws five shutout innings in the second game to highlight the Bulldogs' mound work. Vanderbilt beat St. Mary's, 11-4, with Jonathan Vastine contributing a home run and RJ Austin, a pair of triples. But the biggest story was the season debuts of infielders Brodie Johnston and Mike Mancini, two likely starters for the Commodores. Bobby Boser hit his first homer as a Gator, and Florida routed Dayton, 13-1, thanks to a scoreless, four-inning start from Liam Peterson. Oklahoma edges Minnesota, 3-2, thanks to Kyson Witherspoon's seven-inning, one-run, 12-strikeout day. Ole Miss's Luke Hill had two more hits and swiped two bases while Hunter Elliott fanned 10 in six innings in an 8-0 win over Eastern Kentucky. Mississippi State had only four hits and trailed late but rallied with three eighth-inning runs keyed by Noah Sulivan's two-RBI double. Pico Kohn struck out 11 and allowed only one run in 6 1/3 innings. Kentucky went to Nashville and earned a 2-1 win at Belmont. Starter Nic McCay went six shutout innings and struck out seven. Auburn topped Wright State, 11-0. Prized recruit Bub Terrell hit his first collegiate home run and LSU transfer Sam Dutton fired 5 2/3, seven-strikeout innings in his start. South Carolina rallied from an early deficit to beat Milwaukee, 5-2. JUCO transfer Jase Woita homered and sophomore Tyler Pitzer threw four innings of eight-strikeout baseball in relief. Texas got just six hits against Dartmouth but managed a 4-3 win thanks to 11 strikeouts between Jared Spencer, Ruger Riojas and Thomas Burns. Missouri edged Florida A&M, 6-5. The Tigers' bullpen hurled four scoreless innings and Gehrig Goldbeck rapped out three hits.
