It allowed just 15.2 points and 271 yards per game and was tough against the run and the pass, and held Oregon to 18 points. Iowa's offense put up 40 points against Nebraska in the finale. The Hawkeyes are led by dual-threat quarterback Mark Gronowski and running back Kamari Moulton (783 rushing yards). Iowa has the Remington Award winner in center Logan Jones, an All-American in guard Beau Stephens and a second-team All-Big 10 tackle in Gennings Dunker. Both teams are great on special teams. Eli Stowers took home the prestigious Campbell Trophy on Wednesday night, and Diego Pavia heads to New York City on Saturday, where he may or may not win the Heisman Trophy. However, while Stowers and Pavia were selected for the coaches' all-Southeastern Conference team on Tuesday, the rest of the Commodores were shut out. Meanwhile, the Commodores will head to Tampa to face Iowa in the ReliaQuest Bowl and men's basketball, now ranked in the top 15, resumes action on Saturday against Central Arkansas. The Southeastern 16 crew previews Kentucky's road trip to Vanderbilt. The game will be on ESPN at 2:30 Central. Topics include: Vanderbilt comes off a much-needed bye week after its defense allowed 423 yards to Texas and 563 to Auburn. Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia has been tremendous, leading an offense that ranks first in the SEC in yards per play (7.2). The Commodores get 6.2 yards per play on sack-adjusted rushing plays and 8.2 on sack-adjusted passing plays. Kentucky has won three straight games, two of those coming in the SEC. The Wildcats have played well on both sides of the ball recently. Kentucky's defense has allowed 20 total points its last three games and 264 yards or fewer in four of its last five contests. Cutter Boley has re-ignited Kentucky's offense, but he's also bene turnover-prone.
